Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I'm trying to be more involved in the group so the Group Read/Book Pals looks like something I would enjoy, thanks Cameron! SInce May is almost over is there a link to sign up for a book pal for next month or am I just overlooking it? Thanks again everyone!

What type of mask is it? Full face (mouth and nose), nose only, nose pillows (what I use - it does not completely cover the area around the nose but has two small inflatable pillows that cover the nostrils) or something else?
Well, I have already joined in a few conversations in this group so let me take a few moments to introduce myself. My name is Jeffrey and I presently live near Nashville, Tennessee with my wife of 22 years (which is quite a record in her family and mine).
Well, I have already joined in a few conversations in this group so let me take a few moments to introduce myself. My name is Jeffrey and I presently live near Nashville, Tennessee with my wife of 22 years (which is quite a record in her family and mine). Favorite book: So many to choose from but probably Ender's Gamesince it is the one I have reread the most.
Favorite movie: Definitely Top Gun since I have seen it umpteen million times.
Favorite non-alcoholic drink: Sweet iced tea or orange juice
Favorite alcoholic drink: Pina Colada or Strawberry Daquiri
Favorite food: Lasagna or anything else Italian with lots of cheese and tomato sauce.
Favorite Dessert: Death by Chocolate cake with a side of ice cream.
Favorite Television show: Depends on my mood, but I really like The History Channel and H2, HBO Real Time with Bill Maher and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, Home Improvement, Last Man Standing, M*A*S*H
Favorite Hobbies: Reading (of course), writing, singing (I am a classically trained baritone), writing and playing music on my guitar
Favorite music: Can't really say since my taste in music is like my tastes in books, very eclectic. No one genre can define my tastes in either. Not big on HipHop or Rap music though or books that are more about the sex than plot, characters and substance.
Other info: Even though I have been married for 22 1/2 years and have a daughter who just graduated from high school all while being a single mom, working two jobs and participating in marching band (she graduated with distinction by the way
I am also gay and have known since I was about 10 years old. I am a devout Catholic married to a Pentecostal wife with a daughter who wants to be baptized into the Mormon church when she turns 18 in a couple of months. And finally I have an 17 month old grandson that I love dearly and can't get enough of.

If that doesn't work then it is usually just a matter of readjusting my head.
I wish I knew someone who used a full face mask who might be able to help. Have you tried asking his sleep doctor for advice or calling the help line for the company he gets his supplies from?

Paula wrote: "Welcome to the group Jeffrey. I love Top Gun too. I cry every time Goose dies."Thanks Paula! Goose is probably my favorite character. I love his snarky attitude. I hate it every time he dies even though I know it's coming.

Hi,
I've just joined the group and wanted to introduce myself. I'm a GoodReads author of both historical and Psychological Crime Thriller fiction. I live in Bristol and love writing and reading alongside my career. I've recently read some exceptional books, such as 'The Good Girl' by Mary Kubica and 'Still Missing' by Chevy Stevens. I'm currently enjoying 'Normal' by Graeme Cameron. I love dark, gritty thrillers and like to read emotional and psychologically welded historical fiction.
Kind regards,
Louise Mullins
Hi Louise Welcome! I love a good thriller. I have looked at Good Girl many times and never picked it up. What did you think of it (other than it being exceptional)?

I did not realize you had such a topic. I had to do a little searching, but I found it and I cross posted to there. Looks like my post will start the second page since it is number 51! :-)

Helen wrote: "Hi Louise Welcome! I love a good thriller. I have looked at Good Girl many times and never picked it up. Hi,
Hi,My name is Nick. I live in Atlanta with my wife, Emma.
I am a divorce lawyer and an aspiring writer.
I love reading thrillers, and I look forward to participating in the group.
Thanks,

Hi, my name is Karen. I live in very rural Worcestershire, UK with my husband, two boys, two cats and some chickens. I worked for many years with the Arts council, and am currently in the process of renovating a cottage we own and setting up a new holiday let business. I love films, gardening, walking, Zumba plus anything creative - I've made and sold jewellery in the past and am now excited by furniture upcycling.

I also enjoy historical explorations, such as books by Kate Morton, Andrea Levy & Zadie Smith. I've just finished 'The Girl with all the Gifts' by M.R.Carey and would really recommend it.
Looking forward to talking with others in this group - seems like a good one!
Hi Karen, welcome to the group. I also love Dan Brown books. Can't wait for another one to come out. I always read Stephen King books before seeing the movies based on his books. I was so disappointed in the movie Misery.

Sean, I want to thank you for creating this group and I also want to thank the other moderators.
Sean, I want to thank you for creating this group and I also want to thank the other moderators. As an aspiring writer, I have found several beta readers in this group who are reviewing my stories and providing feedback. I'm also reviewing other writers ' work and getting to know them. This is an incredible resource that you have made possible.
Thank you!
Bob

Hi Robert, I agree, this is a great group with lovely people who I have enjoyed chatting with. I also write and have just published my first novel a few months back. It's a mystery/thriller and I am always happy to give out free ebook copies in exchange for honest feedback. If you would like to do a read and review swap with your book let me know. Also if anyone else would like a free ebook copy to read and review I would be happy to give one :-)

I'm not sure what machine he has but it's only a few months old. It's not the machine itself that makes the noise, it's the air escaping from his mask.
