Pam Hello. I don't usually participate in groups, but I love to read, and a good thriller is always what I'm looking for. I hope to find some new authors and recommendations to add to the ones I already read.
Psychological thrillers are my favorite, but will read nearly any in this genre.
I live in New England, newly retired and loving it.

Stephen Arnott (sarnottmecom) | 4 comments Thanks for the invite. Looks like a fun group.

I'm a part-time author living in the UK.

My favourite thriller writer is Lee Child, but I'd also like to give a shoutout to Alexander Fullerton (especially his 'SBS Trilogy'). He's hard to find these days (his feckless publishers have not yet put out his back-catalogue as ebooks), but well worth searching out.

I've not long joined the group and it is good fun. Thanks for the heads up about Alex Fullerton's SBS trilogy. I like book shop browsing so will look out for his books.

Autumn (autumnmemory80) Hello, to all the new members! There are so many of you that I cannot begin to list your names for fear of leaving someone out! Welcome to our "little" group! We are so happy to have you with us. Please, look around, have fun, play the games, join our discussions, and make yourselves at home. Do not be shy, I know some of you are, but we are all here to have fun, and cannot wait to get to know you! Please, be sure to check out the Book Pals. It is a great way to get to know new members one-on-one and take down that TBR list that you have that is ever growing! If you ever have any questions about Book Pals, or anything else, do not hesitate to PM me at all! I look forward to hearing from you!

Something like the UK's NHS would never fly here because the Teathuglican wing nuts would scream about it being a socialist plot to destroy the US Constitution, even though they themselves are the ones destroying the Constitution by using it as toilet paper, metaphorically speaking, Sophie.

Hey, Autumn, was it you or was it someone else who told me yesterday that my May PIFM book, THE HOT ZONE, reads like a thriller? Whoever it was, isn't far off... .

Kara Karnatzki | 2 comments I'm Kara. I'm an avid reader and writer. I live in London with 3 kids, 1 husband and a load of junk I haven't got room for. I look out for books (esp thrillers) that have something different about them. I love the stark feel of Scandi writing. I love Tove Jansson, who isn't strictly a thriller writer, but hey, she was friends with a bunch of moomins! I keep a blog: karakarnatzi.wordpress.com
Oh and I paint, abstracts and people, when I get the time.

Mike (the Paladin) (thepaladin) | 652 comments My wife was a "cool weather person" where I (I worked outside all the time) preferred warm weather. Of course she was a morning person and I'm a night person, she loved coffee I drink tea...

There may be a pattern there.

I can't stand humidity either, Amber. I've had asthma since I was a child and humid air is just too "thick" for me to breathe.

message 5295: by Amber (new)
