Your entire writing career and life journey is ahead of you.
Best wishes in both.
Hi all! I am Tracey and I was born and grew up in Australia but have now been living in the UK for over 16 years. I love thrillers and a few of my favourite authors are Harlan Coben, Nicci French, Peter May, Ken Follett and I have read a couple of Karin Slaughter's books recently that I really enjoyed. This looks like a fun and active group and I am looking forward to joining in.
Hi Tracey, welcome to the group. You'll meet fellow enthusiasts of the books you like to read here. Enjoy!

Never heard of either one.
For me it's a tossup between Joanne Fluke's Hannah Swensen Mysteries and the Mrs. Murphy Mysteries by the team of Rita Mae Brown and Sneaky Pie Brown. Miss Pie is a pussycat that Rita got from the Albemarle County, Virginia; ASPCA.
tweetybird, I'm at home with my four cats right now. going out later but taking a book with me of course!

lol... I'm more of a dog person. Would love to have property with a pack of five German Shepherd Dogs. Lots of dog hair but well worth it. The more the merrier.
Hi everyone,Ashish here, new author. Big fan of space and military thrillers...especially hard science fiction ones of the likes of Ian Banks, Greg Egan...
Just published a military-politico thriller called "Sphere of Influence".

Hi, everyone and especially to the new members. I cannot log on at work anymore, and now they are going to start taking away my tablet away from me, so I will only have access early in the morning, or in the evening. I want to let you know how lucky I feel to have you all with us. Look around, have fun and get involved. If you are shy, feel free to PM me! People do it all the time! I love getting to know each one of you and keep in contact with my people regularly. Be sure to check out Book Pals, we are currently signing up for May Book Pals, and there you can see a little description to how it works. If you want to PM me and get more information, I am more than happy to provide that too! I just feel so lucky to be a part of this group, and look forward to your reviews, opinions, tips, and just general conversations. I have made so many good friends on this site, and I hold them close as my regular friends even though we know each other only through GR! So... welcome! We are so happy to have you here! PM me if you need ANYTHING at all!

I'm down to one. A very senior Australian Shepherd/Catahoula mix. She's going to be 16 on May 31st and still walks 1+ miles/day!

Hi all…I have been a lurker for a bit. My favorite books used to be thrillers/mysteries and suspense. For the past two years or so I have been broadening my reading experience and reading all kinds of books…seriously, I am all over the place. When I pick up my library books it looks like I am picking up books for different people, lol.Either way when I do get back to a mystery/thriller type book it feels like coming home:) I do like psychological thrillers best.
Right now I am in Florida which is in the southern eastern part of the US. I am luckily married to my best friend and soul mate. We have a senior pug and since we are on a lake yes a few alligators. I keep the pug away, lol.
Next week we will be traveling back to Tennessee which is about 700 miles north of where we are. We have an off gird home in the mountains there and our daughter and her family are there.
I love to read, laugh, remodel houses, demo…I do like a sledgehammer…it is the best stress reliever, lol, play with the grands, cook, bake, play pool, take walks in the woods, be outside(when it is not too hot), and garden. Not much is better than playing in the dirt, lol.

Yes the hair can be a lot. If you live with a Germanshedder :) You have to accept that you will be living with hair everywhere.
My name is VickiLee and to fully understand my philosophy in life, read "The Art of Lying Down". It is something I do best! I am a nearly retired high school English teacher, married to an English teacher and somewhat subversive comedian, mother of one daughter, 31 years old, and a grandmother to a one year old girl. I am a little slow at learning new ways, so allow me some stumble time as I make my way through your lovely group. It looks like fun.
Oh, VickiLee, imagine all the lying down you'll do when you retire!! LOL! Welcome to the group and have fun!

I concur about the hot seat, too.
Hello everyone, my name is Eileen and I live in Florida. I just joined Goodreads and this group. We've had a criminal defense law office since '97 so I like reading legal/crime/police proc. books in my little free time. I also like reading int'l thrillers. Look forward to getting to know the group!
