Please Introduce Yourself, Let's All Get To Know Each Other
Sean, Victoria mentioned you might be sending me cookies for guessing Brian Freeman as our next Q&A. You must have sent them by boat...Oh, don't substitute a cat for my cookies as I already have seven (I do want to defend myself by mentioning that my limit has been 2 for years...)!

Oh wow, you beat me by 3 cats.
Thank you Mike for inviting me to join the group. I'm not a huge reader of thrillers but I do read them from time to time. I'm always looking for a good book recommendation, regardless of genre.
Hi, everybody. I'm from Philadelphia. Movie addict - old ones. Live music! Read mostly non-fiction. Drink too much wine. Love late night conversations about anything strange and unknown. Enjoy meeting new people. Hate my cats.

I think i started something indadvertedly with the cat comment. Haha. For the record, I like most of my cats. And they tolerate me.
Hi allI was invited to join your group by Tania. This is the first group I have joined on GR so I'm not quite sure what to expect.
I am a self published writer with one book currently in circulation. The book is a thriller called First and Only. It's about a young psychic and the deranged serial killer who stalks him.
Not sure how I might be able to contribute to the group but if anyone would like to ask me anything I will do my best to give a useful answer.
And if you know anyone who might like to suggest First and Only to their readers group then please let me know and I will try to supply some books at a reduced cost.
Look forward to hearing the comments and insights from the group.
Peter
Oh, and if anyone has read First and Only and would like to see it as a film, please let me know. I've now had a couple of fairly serious inquiries about the rights and it would be really interesting to know how much support a film of the book might get. Thanks :)
Welcome Joseph & Peter. Peter, don't for get to add your book in our Promote Your Book Here thread. It sounds really interesting. As far as cats are concerned I don't like them I believe they are the devil's spawn(but that could be because I am highly allergic, just typing the word cat, I feel the tickle in my nose)

Hello! I'm Katie :-) nice to meet you all! I'm currently reading from a psychology university reading list because I start in September, but to keep reading balanced I'm reading some thrillers and classics in between psychology ones :-) I live in North West England on a farm and love to spend my days in the garden reading :-)
Thank you to my new friends for joining my group
Welcome Katie and Paula.
Welcome all new members, as we greet a new collection of new members daily.
Sadly I do wish more would introduce themselves, it's great to get to know you all

Hi, I'm Tara from NY! Nice to be invited to a group w/similar interests. (Though I see some cat lovers on here and I'm in the dog column!!) Looks like the Gabriel Allon series is the latest read - one of my favorite series. Happy reading, everyone!
Tara, welcome,
So pleased you have introduced yourself, as a member of long standing.
The friend message/review for The Messenger by Daniel Silva was my recommended read only as voted by the members on here.
The group read voted by all members is on the authors section the post April May Nominations, it closes later on Sunday.
All new members should vote as this is a GREAT new thing, where the 20 books nominated are all from authors that are members of this group.
The voting it very close and we as a group will read the top three, then all three authors will do a Q & A.
On April 8th Tuesday, Karin Slaughter is answering questions.
Over 20 others authors I am in conversations to join the group and also do a Q & A.
PS Few spelling mistakes in my review to friends oops !
PS on reviews on the site I corrected them
PPS I love cats and dogs !!

Sean, I really appreciate your push to do the Q & A's! Really enjoyed the one with SJ Bolton and am looking forward to Brian Freeman.
I'm Sue. I live in west central Georgia (NOT ATLANTA) and am a retired high school teacher. I find myself busy with other interests as well as having my reading time. What a wonderful way to live! I read many genres, but am always looking for good reading material!
Hey all. Name's Amber. I'm 26 and I hail from tennessee, usa. I love to write and to share it with others. Am currently writing a ya horror fantasy online web serial here on goodreads called the AbyssFantastical which is just for fun and am seeking readers/feedback for it. If anyone wants to read it, I'll be happy to share the link with you and an excerpt at the promote your book thread here even though its a web serial. Other than that my favorite author is Sherrilyn Kenyon, fave shows are once upon a time and big bang theory, my fave color is ocean blue, and my fave actors are matthew broderick and robert englund ( who also inspires me in my writing ). Btw love to read fiction, ya, horror, fantasy, graphic novels and anything that is a good read.
Hello, everyone. I'm L.J. Sellers, and I live in Eugene, Oregon. I'm also a thriller author. A friend and faithful reader wanted to nominate my one of books for the group discussion, but he came to the understanding that I needed to join the group and nominate it myself. That surprised me. But I'm sure this thread isn't the right place for that, so I'll look around and find a better place to tell you more about my Agent Dallas series. If you're curious, the first book is The Trigger, which came out in January. And the second story, The Target, will be released mid-May.
I'm also a thriller reader, and some of my favorite authors are John Sandford, Michael Connelly, and Harlan Coban. I'm behind on my reading, of course—most authors are—but I enjoy group discussions.
Cheers.
L.J.
Hi Amber, I'm in Hermitage (that's part of Nashville) so we're withing waving distance of each other. Welcome.Hi Sue. Congratulations on surviving as a high school teacher and reaching retirement. Welcome.
Hello all!Just joined!
Not much to tell about me, I'm pretty dull... :)
I'm from Norway, I like books, I wish dragons were real and I tend to be goofy and silly most of the time. Unless I'm tired, then I'm just grumpy.. You've been warned!
Anyways! Looks like a good group, look forward to being a part of it! :)
Hi DoodlePanda....I keep meeting people I know.... and what do you mean you "wish dragons were real"?
