Tower Team D: Dangerously Determined to Devour All Books
Happy St. Patrick's Day!! :)And this is completely off topic, but I'm curious... How do you post pictures on here? I can't figure that out. I enjoy looking at the pics that are posted. They're lovely!
Tricia, I had to get my daughter to show me how. No matter how many times I read the tutorials it didn't make sense. Most of the groups have a section on how to do things on GR, so you might check it out.
Leslie, your picture isn't showing above, using the two different browsers I checked.
Tricia, try reading either one of these, found in our GoodReads 101 Folder:

last night. It was another great book!! I was afraid that it was going to be either too depressing, or one of those books that becomes too unrealistically sappy, how everything is overcome, everything turns out roses. I was very pleasantly surprised. An awesome read, IMO!!
Just started

I think we should let our Captain win this one! Awesome job Rebecca!!
What a wonderful challenge. Almost 10,000 pages and close to a 4.0 avg. We are obviously reading some good books! Thanks, Chris for the great idea!
[image error]Good morning! Congratulations, Rebecca on a well deserved win. Can't wait to hear what mini challenge you come up with for us all!!
I am busy reading
I snuck in a sexy highlander yesterday and read
I love Jennifer Ashley and her wounded men.

[image error]What's Red, Black or White . . . Mini Challenge
WHEN: Wed March 20th - Sun March 24th
WHAT: Read as many books as you can that have either the title or the author's name in white, black or red lettering
HOW: Post covers as you finish the books and let the team captains know they count toward the mini challenge. That's all!!

Just finished the entertaining but somewhat dated mystery novel
-- counts as a mystery. Too soon for the mini-challenge.
Congrats Rebecca, way to go, way to go, ho ho!!!!!
Good morning team!! Today is Upgrade phone holiday for me. So excited. I have given away my upgrade to my kids 3 times, so I haven't had a new phone in awhile.I started
This is part of a series and it is a light regency romp.
This counts for our mini challenge - author's name is in white letters.
I just finished
. I can't find a larger picture of the cover to determine if those are white letters or not to fit the mini-challenge. It was shelved as Mystery by 28 people so it will fit the month long challenge. I hope everyone is enjoying the first day of Spring!
@Leslie - Have fun phone shopping!
Hello again team!My dissertation was handed in this morning, and I'm looking forward to doing some catching up reading wise :D
I'm starting
today for a review request, which should hopefully count as part of the mini-challenge (Author's name in white).Hope you're all having a good week so far!

...can't seem to stop reading this series, lol
@Melissa - I did that with the first 3 of them and then I quit for awhile. They are fun!@Kristen - the author of that book is a friend of my cousin. She is also a writer. I've been meaning to read it for awhile.
Thanks everyone :) I'm loving just being able to relax! My housemate and I are spending the day in our pyjamas with junk food, a bottle of wine and some Buffy (Because she's never seen it!)
Tomorrow and the weekend my masters applications start, but for now, I'm just switching off!
@Kristen - I really enjoyed Dearly, Departed, but I was a bit disappointed by the sequel :(
@Kristin- not sure I would call her famous! From what I've heard from my cousin, she's a very nice young woman.@Faith - just curious - if you have completed your dissertation, why do you have master's applications? My oldest daughter is completing her applications for MD/PHd program. They are due June 1st. She is so nervous!
I finished
For anyone looking for a good regency romance, Grace Burrowes is excellent. Just a little heat, but good characters and story.
No worries Leslie :) I've just finished my undergrad dissertation so I'm applying for an msc or a phd for next year.
Oh, that makes sense. My son has to present his senior Thesis at the end of April. Then he graduates in May.@Sherri - I am absolutely obsessed
with that series! I am reading #4 this month.
