Here are your picks for December:
1. Release Date: The Casual Vacancy (I would love to buddy read this)

2. Book Length: Short: Cry Sanctuary; Long (and amazing)Outlander
4. Author: Favorite: Archangel's Storm or Immortal Sea; New to You: The Bronze Horseman or The Tea Rose

Outlander (Outlander, #1) by Diana Gabaldon 870 pages
4. Author - Choose a book by an author that your pickee loves, and one that they have never read before.
Kiss of Midnight (Midnight Breed, #1)Adrian, Lara or
Legally Hot Leigh, Lora or
Midnight Sins (The Callahan's, #1)Leigh, Lora
4. Cover - Select a book with a HOT cover and one with a COOL cover. Feel free to use whatever definitions of HOT and COOL work best for you. ;)
Making Waves Fenske, Tawna or
Bound, Branded, & Brazen Burton, Jaci or
Dangerous Highlander (Dark Sword #1) by Donna Grant or
Devoured (Devoured #1)by Emily Snow or
Nicholas (The Lords of Satyr #1)by Elizabeth Amber

I stuck to the rules: one book from your TBR, the other new to you, all romances. Hope you like them!
1. Release Date -
6 months young - Troubles and Treats - Tara Sivec - to be released in 2 days! I think I read the first book because of your enthusiastic review, so I blame you for my snorting coffee through my nose trying not to laugh....
2 years old - It Had to Be You - Susan E. Phillips - the book that started it all! an oldie, but a goodie. Football, romance, wonderful secondary characters, and exciting finales. What more could you ask for!
2. Book Length
Short - Willing Victim - Cara McKenna - loved loved loved this, but it took balls to read it (and to recommend it). haha. Pretty much a controversial premise, but the author handles it so well, and the story is so frickin' good, that my only complaint was that it was SO SHORT.
Long - The Golden Dynasty - Kristen Ashley - You don't have to read book 1 (Wildest Dreams) to read this one, which is SO MUCH better than book 1!
4. Author
Author You Love - Rock Chick - Kristen Ashley - yep, I know you're a bonafide member of the KA train! This is kinda sorta a prequel of the Mystery Man books. Definitely amusing, and like all KA heroines, this one is so kick ass!
New Author - He Loves Lucy - Susan Donovan - I absolutely heart this sweet, sweet story. You definitely end up rooting and cheering for the heroine.
4. Cover
Hot - Exquisite - Ella Frank - very buzzworthy on GR right now! Bunches of GR friends have put this on their TBR lists. Can definitely buddy read this, barring any holiday commitments!
Cool - Sweet Inspiration - Penny Watson - seriously, the cover is dinky, but the story is pretty cute and aptly "cool". Imagine Santa had 5 strapping sons living in the North Pole with him, aiding in his vast toy delivery empire. Just in time for the holidays!

1. Release Date: I haven't heard of this author but I noticed it was only released in October and was on your TBR In Flight by R.K. Lilley or Comfort Food by Kitty Thomas I haven't read it myself but it's one on my tbr that came out a few years ago and seems like one I though you would like.
2. Book Length: The Proposition by Katie Ashley I haven't read anything by KA myself but I've heard nothing but great things. Or Eternal Rider by Larissa Ione I've read another book by her and I highly recommend her.
4. Author: You have Katie MacAlister listed as one of your favorite authors, and I see that you have started the Light Dragons series so how about continuing with with The Unbearable Lightness of Dragons. You haven't ventured into the Night Huntress world yet and met the ever so yummy Bones so I would like to introduce you to him Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost
4. Cover For this selection, I went by colors I think of when I think hot and cool. Hot are oranges and reds, The Raven Prince by Elizabeth Hoyt. Cool would be whites and blues, Bared to You by Sylvia Day.

1. Release Date - Pick one book that was released within the last 6 months, and one that was released at least 2 years ago.
Rogue Rider by Larissa Ione just came out, I plan to read it in December too.
Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost has been out a while and is a pretty good read, just have book two ready to go when you read it. The rest of the series is more Urban Fantasy, but I think book 1 could count as a romance too.
How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire by Kerrelyn Sparks is another oldie but goodie.
2. Book Length - Recommend a short book (under 200 pages) and a long book (over 400 pages).
The Mane Event by Shelly Laurenston is over 200 pages, but it is really two short stories and they are hot hot hot!
The Darkest Passion by Gena Showalter comes in jsut over 400 pages.
4. Author - Choose a book by an author that your pickee loves, and one that they have never read before.
Sherrilyn Kenyon seems to be an author you've read a lot of as she's my favorite author I must reccomend you continue with the Dark Hunters. And it looks like Acheron is next on your list.
One you haven't tried is A Quick Bite by Lynsay Sands, this is one of my favorite series to read.
4. Cover - Select a book with a HOT cover and one with a COOL cover.
Playing with Fire by Mia Dymond has a hot guy on the cover and hot sex on a fire truck, how could you go wrong.
Simply Irresistible by Jill Shalvis has a cool cover.

1. Release Date: Pick one book that was released within the last 6 months, and one that was released at least 2 years ago.
New - Release Date 12.11.12 Gone Country by Lorelei James. I've got this one preordered and you have it on your to-read shelf, maybe a buddy read?
Old - Published December 2010 Holiday Kink by Eve Langlais. I've heard a lot about this author, but haven't tried anything yet, if you pick this one maybe we could read it together - that just might be the motivation I need to read it too!
2. Book Length: Recommend a short book (under 200 pages) and a long book (over 400 pages).
Short Wicked to Love by Shayla Black or maybe Shaken by Dee Tenorio. I love short books and novellas around the holidays! You seem to like the Shayla Black series and I loved the one by Dee Tenorio!
Long Reflected in Youby Sylvia Day, you gave 5 stars to the first book and it is just sitting there one you to-read shelf. I am going to read Bared to You this month for the FAC and am looking forward to it.
3. Author : Choose a book by an author that your pickee loves, and one that they have never read before.
Old Favorite It looks like you have a enjoyed both Lorelei James and Maya Banks so I am going to suggest one of each, Wrangled and Tangled by Lorelei James and Sweet Addiction by Maya Banks. Strangely enough, I am at the same spot in both series, so I would be happy to do buddy reads of either of those if you are interested!
New Author On Dublin Street by Samantha Young is on your to-read shelf, but you haven't read this author before. I am desperately trying not read this until January 1st so I can use it in the A-Z Challenges, not sure if I can hold out that long though...
4. CoverSelect a book with a HOT cover and one with a COOL cover. Feel free to use whatever definitions of HOT and COOL work best for you. ;) I have one from your to-read shelf and one new for each of these!
Hot

Cool

See your recs below (books from your TBR have an asterisk.) Hope you enjoy them...if not, let me know and I can pick again.
1A. Released within the last 6 months: Wicked Nights* by Gena Showalter. Haven't read this one but it looks good!
1B: Released at least 2 years ago: Extreme Exposure by Pamela Clare OR Pleasure Unbound* by Larissa Ione. The I-Team series is one of my favorite romantic suspense series. The plots are tight, the love scenes are hot and they get better and better as the series progresses. Or you could also read the first book in the Demonica series which I think is the best of them all. I just love E!
2A: Short book (under 200 pages): Hearts in Darkness by Laura Kaye (110 pgs.) This is such a wonderful story! And short enough that you could read it in an hour and it will leave you sighing by the end.
2B: Long book (over 400 pages): Voyager* by Diana Gabaldon (870 pgs.) This is my favorite in the Outlander series. Pretty long I know but it's about average for this series.
3A. Author Kami loves: Alpha & Omega: A Companion Novella to Cry Wolf,Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs OR Lover Enshrined* by J.R. Ward: You read plenty of books by both these authors so I assume you love them. :) I was surprised you didn't have the Alpha & Omega series in your TBR so of course I had to recommend them. The companion novella is absolutely necessary to understand book 1 so you must start there! I also thought to suggest the next book in the BDB series, which you already have on your TBR.
3B: Author Kami hasn't read before: Where Dreams Begin by Lisa Kleypas. I see you don't read much historical romance so I thought to recommend you my favorite author. This is a good one to start if you've never read HR because the heroine is instructing the hero in the rules of society.
4A. HOT cover: Hot Head by Damon Suede. I don't know if you read M/M but if you are willing, this will be a great one to try! The book is hot, hot and superromantic but if you don't want to read some man on man loving, maybe you want to try Changing the Game* by Jaci Burton. I wasn't crazy about the first book but those covers are smokin'!
4B. COOL cover: Caressed By Ice* by Nalini Singh. This is among favorite books in the Psy-Changeling series so you MUST read it!

**Great picks Ty!!! I want to read them all! :) You did good! lol

1. Release Date

2. Book Length

3. Author

4. Cover

I had fun going through your shelves! We have quite a bit in common, but also some definite differences. I’m horrible at limiting myself to one pick per category, so you ended up with two for each. :)
1. Release Date: Both categories have one new to you book and one not.
New: When We Touch or Quinn's Undying Rose
Older: Cut & Run or Come Monday
2. Book Length: Again, each category has one new to you and one not.
Short (Under 200 pages): If you are participating in other challenges and like to multi-task,both of these picks work well in other December challenges. Mistletoe Mischief fills the geography category in the Monthly Challenge, and A Dark Kiss of Rapture is by Sylvia Day, the featured author in the December FAC. I will be reading Mistletoe Mischief next month, so if you are interested in a buddy read, this one would be an option.
Long (over 400 pages). Lover Enshrined is the next book up for you in the BDB series and you’ve rated the previous books quite high, or Love Slave for Two – I know nothing about this book but I’ve heard a lot about the author and just couldn’t pass up the title when I saw it on your TBR!
3. Author
Favorite Author: The Rogue Hunter (or any of the Argeneau books you haven’t read yet since it appears you haven’t been reading them in order) or A Taste of Midnight – maybe this little bite will hold you over until the next book in the series comes out in a few months.
New Author: Seduction and Snacks I've been hearing so much about this one lately and I'm going to be reading it in December, so it's another possibility for a buddy read. OR Pleasure Unbound I love this series, and you have the whole thing on your TBR but have never started it. Maybe this would be a good time!
4. Cover
HOT:

COOL:

I am also hoping to read Sweet Inspiration, so that is another possibility for a buddy read.
I hope I was able to find something that interests you – if not let me know and I’ll be happy to take another shot at it! Happy reading!

Here are your recs...hope you like them!! Happy Reading!!
1: 6 months or less: Devoured by Emily Snow. Looks really good-it's also on my TBR, so if you want to buddy read this one let me know!
2 years or more: The Secret Diaries of Miss Miranda Cheever by Julia Quinn. I loved this one!
2. Short: Ballroom Blitz by Lorelei James. This looks good and is now added to my ever growing TBR list!
Long: The Gamble by Kristen Ashley. Haven't read this one yet, but if its anything like all the other KA books...should be a good one!
3. Most read author: The Last Boyfriend by Nora Roberts. Saw that you have read a lot of her work! Why not continue the Boonsboro Trilogy with #2?!?
New author: Some Girls Bite by Chloe Neill. This is the beginning of the Chicagoland Vampire series-great series! It's a little slow because of all the introductions to the characters and all but so well worth it!!
4. Hot: Gray's Girl by Mina Carter. WOW!! Also added to my TBR!
Cool: Naked by Raine Miller. Cool looking cover in my opinion...plus a pretty good book at that!

1. Release Date:
New: Just Ask- m/m, great buzz, would love to do a buddy read with you.
Undeniable- I noticed you like bad boy bikers. These are the baddest. New release, I recently read it and really liked it. Great price on Amazon.
Exquisite- lots of good buzz, would buddy read this one too.
Old: Rode Hard, Put Up Wet- love the whole series!
Conspiracy Game- another great series :)
2. Book Length
Short:Wicked Games- game show/Survivor sex- sounds like fun! I can lend this one if you like. And read it too!
Talker- I've heard good things about this m/m
Stay With Me- sweet and sexy
Long: Days of Blood & Starlight
3. Author:
Favorite: Eternal Rider
New: A Dark Kiss of Rapture or Bared to You - author of the month for December.
Some favorite m/m-
Between Sinners and Saints
Out in the Field
I'll Be Your Drill, Soldier
4. Cover:
Hot: All titles start with 'Hot' and I would buddy read any of them. The last two I can lend.

Cool:

I think I will go with Wicked Nights* by Gena Showalter and Caressed By Ice* by Nalini Singh.

This one is a paranormal romantic suspense novel that you may enjoy by Jayne Ann Krentz http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/29... it’s part of series; this is the second one but the first one set in modern times (you don’t necessarily have to read them in order).

This cover is hot in more ways than one: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/48...

I have school obligations for the next couple of hours, but hope to get your picks up this evening. If I don't have them by then, I will get them up tomorrow at the latest!

I think I will go with Wicked Nights* by Gena Showalter and Caressed By Ice* by Nalini Singh."

Release Date: Seduction and Snacks is a fun and light read. Really funny! Promises is one of my favorite M/M series. This is a gay-for-you story that's sweet and sexy with a little bit of angst.

Book Length: Muscling Through is a short M/M romance with one of the most endearing characters I've ever read! Lover Reborn is my loooooong pick. I noticed you're reading Lover Unleashed right now. Lover Reborn is one of my favorites in the series.

Author: Maverick is by one of your favorite authors. I liked this second book in the Elite Ops series. You can't really talk about M/M romance without mentioning Cut & Run. Ty & Zane are just... *sigh*.

Cover: The Many Sins of Lord Cameron is a such a good romance! I love this whole series. And men in kilts? What else could you want? Shades of Gray is a romantic suspense and one of my faves.

1. Release Date –
Fourth Grave Beneath My Feet by Jones, Darynda, this book just came out 2 months ago.

Talk Me Down by Victoria Dahl, this book was published in 2009.

2. Book Length -
Yours to Keep by Shannon Stacey this book is 201 pages but I am going to count it anyways. If you want a shorter one let me know and I will look.

Divergent by Veronica Roth, 487 pages. This book reminded me of the hunger games.

3. Author –
Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs, I noticed that you have read her Thompson series. This is another series by her that I actually enjoyed more than the Thompson one. I tend to get very annoyed with potential love triangles and this book had absolutely none! It was one man and one woman without interference from ex lovers.

The Warlord Wants Forever by Kresley Cole, I noticed that you have never read a Cole book and it is a series worth reading. All the books are fast reads with plenty of fluff. They are very entertaining and a great book when you don’t want to think too hard and want a nice happy ending.

4. Cover –
Dragon Bound by Thea Harrison, I loved this book! And it does have a hot cover.

Playing for Keeps by R.L. Mathewson, I am going to say that this cover is cool because its blue. Lol I am probably stretching the definition a bit.

I don't think you're stretching the definition at all - blue is definitely a cool color! And I did say whatever definition works for you... :)

1. Release Date
Recent - Gone Country - I know this isn't out until the 10th, but I saw above that you have it pre-ordered, so do I...so buddy read if you are interested?
More than 2 years ago - Laid Bare

Long - Dirty (425 pages) or Grave Mercy (512 pages) - not on your list, but i'm listening to it right now and enjoying it - I mean, assassin nuns (and 220 ppl have it shelved as romance...)
3. Author
Favorite author - you have read lots of Nora Roberts, but the second most popular author on your shelves is Johanna Lindsey - so how about Let Love Find You (#4 in the series) - if you want to read #1 it is The Heir
New Author - I know you had a few of her books on your shelf, but didn't see that you had read them - Life Lessons by Kaje Harper
4. Cover
I'm going to go literal for a hot and cold cover, so for cold - My Kind of Christmas and for hot, Redemption by Fire (buddy read if you are interested).

Slow Ride by Lorelei James for the shorter book.
Outlander by Diana Gabaldon - A longer book that I have been meaning to read as well. I've heard nothing but great things about this one.
3. Author
Archangel's Storm by Nalini Singh. You seem to love her books.
Sword of Darkness by Kinley MacGregor. An author new to you that I thought you would like.
4. Cover
Firelight By Kristen Callihan - This cover has flames, so it is my choice for hot.
Insurgent by Veronica Roth. I think her cover was pretty cool. Believe it or not, it's what drew me to the series.

Here are my picks for you:
1. Release Date - Reflected in You, Crossfire Series #2 by Sylvia Day or Backstage Pass, Sinner on Tour #1 by Olivia Cunning, published Oct 2010. I plan on reading Reflected in You as well for the FAC. One of my friends loved the Sinner on Tour series, so I'm adding it although it isn't on your TBR.
2. Book Length -I’ll Be Your Drill, Soldier at 186 pages or Daughter of Smoke and Bone at 417 pages. I adored Smoke and Bone with the characters and word imagery.
3. Author - The Darkest Hour, KGI Series #1 by Maya Banks and/or Extreme Exposure, I-Team Series #1 by Pamela Clare. I see that you've read Maya Banks's historicals. I've read Maya Banks's historicals as well as the KGI series. I'm ready to start KGI 3! I enjoyed all the books in the I-Team series; strong female characters, great suspense and dreamy action hero men.
4. Cover - On Dublin Street by Samantha Young and Taking a Shot, Play by Play #3 by Jaci Burton. Both of these covers just caught my eye.
Hope you find something you like. Let me know if you want repicks. Happy reading!

So, here we go...

a) Just Came Out: The Siren, A great BDSM novel that stretches the definition of "romance".
b) Made the Rounds: Faith & Fidelity, Dee recommended this to me in a PIFM challenge a couple years ago. It was my first foray into m/m romance and I loved it!

2. Book Length ~
a) Short: Comfort Food, A disturbing but profound read. It was a 5 star for me.
b) Long: Outlander, One of my all time favorite reads and I try to recommend it every chance I get. Think more along the lines of historical fiction and allow yourself the time to indulge in the history and details that Diana Gabaldon is famous for, and you'll enjoy the read.

3. Author ~
a) Go To Gal: Warrior's Cross by Abigail Roux, This is the only pick that was not on your TBR, however you seem to be enjoying Roux's Cut & Run series. I think I liked this book even more.
If you'd rather stick to TBR reads try Midnight Man by Lisa Marie Rice. It's another one of my favs and you enjoyed another of her books.
b) Fresh Blood: Daughter of Smoke & Bone by Laini Taylor I really think you'd enjoy this YA pnr/fantasy novel as much as I did.

4. Cover ~
a) Hot: Dragon Bound, Dragons breathe fire and fire is hot, so there you have it. Loved this one!
b) Cool: Forever Mine, in the Romance world, the opposite of a hot is sweet. Awe! I don't usually like YA romance, but this was pretty good and I think it's right up your alley. And look at that sweet cover...

I hope you find something here you'll enjoy. Happy Reading!
