Yay! I've been meaning to read it for sooo long, I'm excited to finally get to it!

Hi! I hoped I recommeded some good ones for you. This is the first PifM that I've done in several months. If you want me to revisit your shelves, just let me know...
1. Release Date (within the last six months) Rapture I've read this series on audiobook, which has a fantastic narrator Eric G. Dove! I've yet to listen to this one, but it's on my TBR list.
2. Release Date(released at least 2 years ago) Extreme Exposure Great beginning to a great series!
3. Book Length short book (under 200 pages) The Marriage Bargain This was a quick but compelling read.
4. Book Length long book (over 400 pages)City of Bones Clary and Jace are an intense couple.
5. Author Barefoot in the Sand You seem to enjoy Roxanne St. Claire novels, and I believe this is her newest one.
6. Author Claimed The world building in this novel is as compelling as the romance between the H/h :)
7. Cover Hot When You Dare or Fury
8. Cover Cool Daughter of Smoke & Bone or The Girl Who Chased the Moon

1. Release Date -
within 6 months: Creed I saw you liked the first book in this series.
at least 2 years: Moonlight Road This seems to be a favorite author of yours.
2. Book Length -
under 200:A Dark Kiss of Rapture
over 400:Phantom Waltz
3. Author -
New Author:Fantasy Lover This is an excellent series that you have not started yet. This is the first book in the series which is way lighter than the rest of them.
Favorite Author:Maybe This Time
4. Cover -
Hot:

Cool:

New - If I Were You by Lisa Renee Jones
This new release has pretty good reviews and it's on your TBR.
Old - Diamond Bay by Linda Howard
You didn't have this Linda Howard book listed and I have read it and it was good.
Short - Hunter's Season by Thea Harrison
An Elder Races novella, series I do enjoy very much.
Long - Dirty by Megan Hart
This book from your TBR looked very interesting.
Author you love - Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor by Lisa Kleypas
You have read a lot of her historicals, maybe you can try out this contemporary series by her and it fits the holiday time too!
New author - Firelight by Kristen Callihan
I loved this historical PNR book.
Hot cover -

Cool cover -

I had fun going through your books! This is my first PIFM so I hope I got it right. I've tried to mix a bit between your ongoing series, your tbr and some new ones xD Hope you like them!
1. Release Date within 6 month - You liked the first in the Dressmaker series and and the second is even better so I pick Scandal Wears Satin.
2. Release Date at least 2 years ago - You've yet got to start the Turner series (which is awesome) so I pick Unveiled.
3. Short book (under 200 pages) - I've heard a lot of good things about it from my GR friends and it’s definitely "the hotter the better" so I pick The Theory of Attraction.
4. Long book (over 400 pages) - Here I will actually pick a classic that I'm reading in December Annie's Song (which supposedly is heartwarming and emotional at the same time). Let me know if you want to buddy read it.
5. Favorite Author - I was not sure about this one but you rated a lot of Lisa Kleypas books highly so I'm going to pick A Wallflower Christmas (which also fits the season).
6. New Author - I have to introduce you to my favorite Julie James. She writes the best contemporary romances (funny, sexy, exciting and smart) so I pick Something About You. Going with the "the hotter the better" I will also suggest Cherrie Lynn who writes very sexy contemporary romance and pick Unleashed.
7. Hot Cover - You've read the first two in the Demonica series so I pick #3 Lethal Rider (which has a hot guy on the cover *wink wink*).
8. Cold Cover - It's high on your TBR and Julie Garwood is an amazing author so I pick Shadow Music (it seems cold on the cover *brrr*).

Happy Reading!

1. Release Date:
Seducing Cinderella by Gina L. Maxwell - This book was released in July and it sounds interesting
Hunting Ground by Patricia Briggs - You liked the first two books from series and the rest is just as good
2. Book Length:
Defying the Odds by Kele Moon - I loved this book and I think you might like it too
The Love Potion by Sandra Hill - From the books I found with 400+ pages this one seemed most suited for you
3. Author:
Skin Trade by Laurell K. Hamilton - You have read plenty of books from this series and this is next book
Mystery Man or The Gamble by Kristen Ashley - This is a great author and you should try her, but I couldn't decide between these two books. I have read the first one and it was great, but I have also heard great things about the second one.
4. Cover:
Beauty Dates the Beast by Jessica Sims - I have read this book recently and I loved it
Taking Shots by Toni Aleo - You have read some of the sports romance books and my friends gave it high ratings so it should be good

Here's my picks for you. I have tried to include a wide genre in the pick so hop you enjoy them.

Thanks for the great picks!

1. Release Date:

2. Book Length:

4. Cover:

Happy reading ^_^

1. Release Date - Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry this is on both our tbr's so maybe this could be a buddy read?
and Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater While I would say I preferred Linger, this is still a good romance read.
2. Book Length - The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson This is different to any other romance book I have read and I see you like historical fiction and Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist by Rachel Cohn I notice you have read a book by Cohn before and this is a nice quick read and fun too.
3. Author - Blood Bound by Rachel Vincent I thought I'd give you a new series to start from this author that is on your tbr. I have also picked Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia I know this author is on your tbr but you haven't read anything by her yet and this is a really enjoyable young adult read.
4. Cover - Flat-Out Sexy by Erin McCarthy definitely a hot cover and a hot read too and Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. Jamesa cold cover nothing romantice about it and I would say the storyline is a cold romance too.
Hope there is something here you like, enjoy :)

First i'll read

Thanks Gea! I'm pretty sure I'll start with
Taking Shots if I can find it. I'll probably move on to one or two more after that.

Thank you for the recs, they all look good. I don't think I'll be able to do a buddy read this month, with the holidays an all.

I'm so excited Ab2y! Just so you know, the romance doesn't kick in till about half way through the book. The story up to that point in great all on it's own, but once that romance heats up...*sigh*

Release Date
Love Me to Death by Allison Brennan is only a couple of months old and sounds like a really great read. P.S. I Love You by Cecelia Ahern is older and is more of a chick-lit romance so hopefully you'll enjoy it.
Book Length
For the short read I had to pick Small Town Christmas by Jill Shalvis as you seemed to really enjoy her other books, and for longer I picked The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley which is pretty epic in length but I've only heard good things about.
Author
You really seem to enjoy Nora Roberts so why not give Chasing Fire a shot (I'd be happy to buddy read this one). For a new author I went with Linda Wisdom and her book50 Ways to Hex Your Lover which is a really funny sweet romance with talking bunny slippers :)
Cover
I went for the literal hot/cool definitions so for hot I picked One Reckless Summer by Toni Blake which is new to me but sounds like a lot of fun. For cool I pick The First Love Cookie Club by Lori Wilde which I read a couple of Christmasses ago and loved. You don't have to read the first two in the series first to understand it.

If you want to read The First Love Cookie Club it's only .99 right now on Amazon. It's usually 7.99 so I thought I would mention it :)

This is my first time for this challenge, so I hope you like the books I have picked for you. If not I will make another pick, I myself sure had fun browsing your shelves.
Release Date
1. Shadow of Night - Deborah Harkness (published in July 2012) and you have seemed to have enjoyed the first book.
2. I Heart New York - Lindsey Kelk
Book Length
1. The Substitute Millionaire - Susan Mallery
2. The Witching Hour- Anne Rice, I have noticed you have read here before, this is a large book, but I thought it was just amazing.
Author
1. One Hundred Names - Cecelia Ahern, you do not have this book on your shelf but I noticed you have read a lot of her books before and you gave them pretty high ratings.
2. Red-Headed Stepchild - Jaye Wells
Cover
1. Firelight by Kristen Callihan - This book has a hot cover (literally)
2. Frostbite by Richelle Mead - and a literal cold cover. I noticed you read Vampire Academy this year so why not read the second book.

It was fun going through your shelves. It was also fun to give you some m/m goodness, my m/m newbie! Glad you mentioned you would be open to it :)

Hi Fran ~ Thanks for all the great rec's!! I know for sure I will be reading Conspiracy Game and Days of Blood & Starlight this month. I'm already set to do buddy reads for these ~ you're more then welcome to join us if you want.
I would love to do a buddy read with you for Wicked Games if you wanted ~ I own it already and/or Exquisite as I downloaded it last night, lol.
I'll Be Your Drill, Soldier is free on here right now so I'll read that also. May get to more but if not they all got added to my TBR. Along with going through everyone else's rec's and adding some from there as well,LOL.

Awesome, awesome picks, Nairabell! Thanks!!
Since I have all these on hand, it's going to be a really tough choice (maybe I'll just read all of them ;-)). But I think I'll start with Small Town Christmas. I've really been enjoying Jill Shalvis lately thanks to Kami picking .Simply Irresistible for me last month.

If you want to read The First Love Cookie Club it's only .99 right now on Amazon. It's usually 7.99 so I thought I would mention it :)"
Thanks, Fran. I already have the whole series, but it's always good to know when things go on sale!

Here are the picks for you. You have lots and lots of good books on your lists, so if you don't see anything here you like, please let me know and I will give you more picks.
1. Release Date - Within the last 6 months: Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry;
At least 2 years ago: The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain. The first one looks interesting, and I chose the second one because you seem to like classics.
2. Book Length - A short book (under 200 pages): Girl, Interrupted by Susanna Kaysen; A long book (over 400 pages): Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean Auel. Both of these seem like they might appeal to you based on books you have already read.
3. Author - Choose a book by an author that your pickee loves: Bad Boys Do by Victoria Dahl; One that they have never read before: The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh. I saw that you liked the first Dahl one in that series. I recently read the second pick here and really liked it.
4. Cover - Select a book with a HOT cover: Fever, 1793 by Laurie Halse Anderson
One with a COOL cover: Hot Ice by Nora Roberts. The first one is a good historical fiction one and the second one has both hot and cold on the cover!
Enjoy your books!

Here are my picks for you. You have a pretty sparse TBR shelf, so hopefully some of these are ones you really want to read. If you don't see anything you like, just let me know. I'll be happy to pick again!
1. Release Date
Newer: Days of Blood & Starlight by Laini Taylor-- You have Daughter of Smoke & Bone on your read shelf. Hopefully, you liked it. This is the second book in the series and came out earlier this month.
Older: Kiss an Angel -- This one's on your TBR shelf and you can't go wrong with Susan Elizabeth Phillips! Her books are so sweet and funny. ;-)
2. Book Length
Shorter: A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks -- This one is just a teensy bit over 200 pages (207), but it's a really sweet, romantic read. Keep the tissues close, though, it's also a major tear-jerker.
Longer: The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead -- You have this book on your TBR shelf. I didn't see the first book in the series on your read shelf, but hopefully you read it and liked it since this is book #2.
3. Author
Old Favorite: Ninth Key by Meg Cabot -- You didn't have this one on your TBR shelf, but you gave 5 stars to the first one in the series so hopefully you want to read this one, too.
New-to-you: A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness -- You've got a few paranormal reads on your shelf so I thought you might like this one. I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to reading book 2 of this trilogy.
4. Cover
Hot: Die for Me by Amy Plum -- A beautiful, warm-colored cover that I found on your TBR shelf.
Cool: Simply Irresistible by Jill Shalvis -- All that snow on the cover makes this one a cool read. It's a really sweet romance set around Christmastime that I picked up during last month's PIFM. And the best thing is that it's book #1 in a series with six published books and more on the way. ;-)

Working on your pics now. Do you have any special shelves you want me to pick from or is TBR ok?"

Thanks for your picks, all of them look great, but as I usually manage to read only two or three books for this challenge I have troubles deciding :)
Lora Leigh is one of my favorite authors but since I haven't even finished with her Nauti Boys series I won't read this new series yet, but I put it on my TBR so that I don't forget about it :)
I will read these two books:

Well, if you follow the same pattern that Lexa and I did a few months ago, you'll be picking for her next month! :)

I'm glad you said TBR because that is where I did most of the picking except for the ones that are new to you. :)
1.Release Date:Take Me by Olivia Cunning was released in the last six months, and Tempting the Beast by Lora Leigh was released a few years ago.
2.Book Length:The Lesson Plan by Jackie Barbosa for the short book. I have this one waiting on my kindle to read if you want to do a buddy read. Dirty by Megan Hart for the long book. Awesome book, super emotional. Megan Hart is fast becoming one of my favorite authors.
3.Author:I noticed you have read a few Maya Banks so I picked Sweet Surrender and for the new author I couldn't decide on just one so I picked a couple authors I think will be new to you. A Hunger Like No Other by Kresley Cole, Darkness Dawns by Dianne Duvall, and Marked by Elizabeth Naughton. All are the first books in good series.
4.Cover: Again I couldn't decide on just two, so I picked one for each that was on your TBR list and two that were not on any list I could find.
Hot:

Cool:

I also have the secret of ella and micha waiting to be read on my kindle if you want to do a buddy read of that.

Yay! I'm glad you liked the picks! I can start The Secret of Ella and Micha whenever you are ready.

1. Release Date:
Recent release - Once Burned by Jeaniene Frost. You don't have this one on your shelves, but you rated other books in the Night Huntress series very highly. I liked this one very much myself.
Older release - Persuasion by Jane Austen. I liked this one equally as much as Pride and Prejudice. Naked in Death by J.D. Robb is an excellent start to one of my favorite series.
2. Book Length:
Short - Magic in the Wind (Drake Sisters, #1) by Christine Feehan. The Drake Sisters series is great, and this first book is an entertaining read.
Long - Mr. Perfect by Linda Howard. I really enjoy Linda Howard's books, and this one was a particularly fun read. The two main characters were great.
3. Author:
Old Favorite - You have read and enjoyed both of these series, so perhaps you will enjoy their next volumes. Born to Bite by Lynsay Sands or Tangle of Need by Nalini Singh
New to You - The Mane Event by Shelly Laurenston or Dragon Actually by G.A. Aiken. Shelly Laurenston's books are really fun to read, under either of her names.
4. Cover:
Hot - Hotter Than Hell. I'm not usually a huge fan of anthologies, but I liked this one. The story by Marjorie M. Liu was my particular favorite.
Cool - Vision in White by Nora Roberts
