My boyfriend convinced me to read this. I have been putting off reading the series since they came out not thinking that I'd particularly like them. My boyfriend told me unequivocally that I HAD to read them as I read so many books and those ones are modest classics, he likes them. Anyway I have now read the whole series and I enjoyed although I did find that the first three dragged on before any action!
