You mean get the csv file? It's done from the site. Go to your shelves page, scroll down and underneath the list of bookshelves are other links. One is import/export. Click on that, and on the page that opens, near the upper right is an export link. It will then download the file of your exported books.
A csv is just a fancy text file (Comma Separated Values) that can be opened by a spreadsheet application, or imported into other sites or software.
Even for folks not going anywhere, doing an occasional export as a backup is a good idea.

Thank You!

Yeah, I just found & read the thread. They certainly went bassackwards on this! While the policy change doesn't bother me, the immediate, irreversible and non forewarned deletions were a horrible idea on GRs part!! They seem to have chosen the worst way possible to implement this.
Plus, it would be great for authors to remember that they are only truly authors when they have readers.

As I stated in the PM, I understand why you chose to step down as moderator, I'm just sad to see you go. I'm sorry my inquiries made you feel like an ass (I wasn't thinking that at all). I am happy, however, that you've told the group.
I am curious as to the announcement(s), I obviously missed something - but then again I haven't really been here either...
Wishing you the very best going forward!! (((HUGS))) again. :)

School's started, I've subbed 6 out of the 10 days that its been in session, which has helped to finally pull me away from my Netflix marathons.
I'm currently reading:

Although I'm 70-something pages in (out of 640-something), it's still too early to tell how I feel about the story as a whole, but it certainly has my attention.

Its an odd feeling.

Not surprise. I used to read James Bond. I thought Id read them all. Not sure if I'm there, however."
Ah. :)
There are fourteen of them, plus a short story anthology (I think, which I do not have).
Amazon had them on sale late last year. I bought all 14 for $1.99 each.

American Gods is interesting, but a bit "heavy" for my low-concentration level, at the moment.

I did not have a good reading week at all.
