Good luck as you "turn the page".

Just finished the latest, book #8 All the Queen's Men (Fantasy Heights, #8) by Meg Silver All the Queen's Men.

Amanda is one incredibly lucky girl! I will definitely be on the look out for book #9...

42178 Book #1 is free (on Amazon), books 2 - 7 are .99 each and book #8 is $2.99.

I'm reading book #6 and can't wait to see what happens next.

42178 Help Wanted (Fantasy Heights, #1) by Meg Silver Help Wanted

Currently enjoying an erotica, short story, series called Fantasy Heights. A little bit of mystery with engaging characters and a lot of sex.

We follow Amanda, who due to sudden life changes, finds herself interviewing for a position at a premiere fantasy fulfillment resort.

What I like most about this series, is the fact that this is not the typical "down on her luck" type deal. Amanda is a normal, successful woman, who decides to take a risk and ends up really liking her job.

42178 I'm currently reading:

Divine Misfortune by A. Lee Martinez Divine Misfortune by A. Lee Martinez. It really should be read at a much quicker pace than I've been going, but its still a fun read... uncomfortably funny. I expect to finish by Friday at the latest.

42178 Hubby just read Anansi Boys, (last week, I believe) and enjoyed it as well.

Congrats on hitting your half-way mark! :)

42178 Currently trying to read The Secret Life of Bees but my heart is not really into it. I feel one of those reading funks coming on. Need to cut it off at the pass... nothing else seems appealing at the moment, though. Maybe I'll dip back into anime. **shrug**

42178 Which book? You can PM the answer, if you like.

Thanks. :)

Yes, its won 3 awards that I know of: The Pulitzer Prize, the Anisfield Wolf Book Award, and the Center for Fiction First Novel Prize

42178 So, because I can never leave well enough alone, I've added a few "personal choice" categories to the "I'll try anything Once" challenge:

Award Winner
Banned or Challenged
Mobile Read Author
Mythology

and I've set up a few "award shelves": nebula, hugo, pulitzer, etc.

I'm trying to decide if I want to set up a "banned or challenged" shelf and/or a MR Author shelf, as well.

42178 Thank you! :) I can't believe how quickly I read that omnibus; Its 737 pages!!

I wasn't trying to be Speedy Gonzalez, I just didn't want to put it down. I think this will eventually be a reread , with the expressed intent of slowing down to enjoy the illustrated art a little more.

42178 My first foray into manga is complete!

Chobits Omnibus, Vol. 1 by CLAMP Chobits: Omnibus, Vol. 1 was quite enjoyable!

42178 But, but it's so pretty.......

42178 I also voted for science, but I am seriously hoping for mythology. I have always loved mythology, even though I have not read much.

While the MR library is sentimentally appealing, as a US resident it could cause me more grief than good.
