42178 Leave it to my husband:

"I once bought a book, just to watch it lie...... ( on the shelf )"

*sigh* Lol!

42178 Yeah Yeah!

Ok ... Having way too much fun w/ that!

42178 That depends... How many books have you capped? Huh?

42178 Thanks. :) As usual, I do have a few of her stories (Four of the Time Trader Series, and an Omnibus w. 4 other stories) but haven't read them as yet.

42178 That sounds fascinating. I may not be a huge fan of Romance, but I'm a sucker for strong family bonds, loyalty, friendship, etc. (I like to get to know my characters and various aspects of their lives) and I love good world building.

So would my liking The Key of the Keplian give any indication as to my liking the rest of the series?

42178 Both of our first choices are in last place, HiMS.

42178 Yeah, Christa we did go through a rough time, but things smoothed out a little. Now its more a handful of "strong" personalities butting heads.
I have thought of leaving on more than one occasion, but I'm really wanting a way to motivate myself to read books outside of my comfort zone.

As to 20,000 League: I helped to nominate it, but didn't vote for it, in the end. I don't know what I'll end up doing in March. It'll depend on my mood, I guess.

42178 LOL! Thanks! That actually sounds like something my hubby would like, too.

42178 I added Burial Ground as well. My SIL gave the kids a copy of The Ruins of Gorlan, but I haven't read it as yet.

42178 Oh No! Wishing you a very speedy recovery Mrs.J!!! (((HUGS)))

42178 Wait! That says Witch World Series #4 which means there are Witch World Series #s 1 - 3! You know I'd have to read the others first or suffer from OCD series order withdrawal type symptoms.

What are you trying to do to me, my tbr, and my wallet, woman!?!?!

As for Geekomancy.. Yes..it is fun! A lot of fun! I am enjoying it.

It irritated the heck out of my husband in the beginning (geek pop culture overload - and he is a geek! :) ), but he was really enjoying it by the end.

The only think that bugged me were the D&D stats for ALL of the characters introduced in the beginning. It was funny for Ree & Eastwood (not that I remember what they were). Once we got past those, however, I've been loving it.

42178 Would you like me to delete my previous post so that you can have the 2nd spot reserved? Didn't mean to mess up your flow, there.
Feb 24, 2013 05:30PM

42178 Good Luck & Enjoy! :)

I finished The Iron King earlier today, but decided to read Geekomancy instead of returning to The Hunger Games, just yet. The Hand of Oberon will have to come after that; I'm starting to "lose" Amber, memory wise. Then I'll return to Katniss and Catching Fire

42178 @ Spacechik - I should be getting back to it after The Iron King. :)

42178 Thanks. :)
