@Karen... It isn't scary like monsters lurking in the shadows kind... But more like the climax giving you goose-bumps, making you go like "OMG" and definitely you won't be able to sleep after this one.... Shutter Island is one book I'm going to recommend to people wholeheartedly.

One of the best psychological thrillers I've read. It's a book to be devoured in a single reading and it'll keep gnawing at your brains long after you've read it. I've watched the movie based on this book, starring Leonardo Di'Caprio and that's what prompted me to hunt for this book.

Absolutely brilliant writing! And a very original story!

It's nice to see everyone having fun reading. I've already gotten through 3 books in 3 days, something that would have taken me 3 weeks in my regular reading phase. However, my reading has taken a hit at the moment, since I came down with a migraine last morning. Still recovering from it. I'll get around to updating the spreadsheet a little later.
