222868 A list of some upcming releases:

Hot and Badgered by Shelley Laurenston

There are two kinds of people in this world: People who will admit to being interested in a romance novel starring a honey badger shape-shifter, and liars.

222868 Anyone reading the new BDB Legacy book Blood Fury Blood Fury (Black Dagger Legacy, #3) by J.R. Ward ?

I heard there are 2 romances - Peyton and Novo, and a m/m romance with Saxton and Ruhn.

I don't think I will ever give up on BDB. I'll probably read it after I finish Raised in Fire & Fused in Fire.

Hope you like it! So far I am pleasantly surprised. Definitely didn't want to put it down to go to work. Unless something horrible/stupid happens in the 2nd half its going to be 4* for me. And all 3 books are out for this trilogy so that's always good.

222868 I'm reading Born in Fire Born in Fire (Fire and Ice Trilogy, #1) by K.F. Breene and its pretty darn good. About halfway through. There's some snarky comments and action and a bit of a mystery to solve.

Think of it as Kate Daniels "lite" - bounty hunter chic with secret magic teams up with vampire to find the bad guys. But the h reminds more of Charley Davidson with the use of snark (though not quite as humorous).

222868 I finally read A MacKenzie Clan Gathering which has been on the TBR for like 2 years.... I love Ian.

Now I am reading The Stolen Mackenzie Bride, which probably should've been read before the novella I guess, although it is set in the past. But its really not a big deal - just some of the events in this book affect events in the novella but everything is explained in the novella. I'm enjoying it so far.

hmmm...something else funny and lighhearted......

have you read The Duchess Deal? It was one of my favorites this year. Also loved Royally Screwed, which was one of last year's best books for me. A friend recommended Man Hands saying it was funny and lighthearted but I have not read it yet. But she loved it.

I'm reading Meddle of Wizards now. I haven't had much time and its so frustrating. Then I finally get time and I fall asleep. Sigh. I do like it so far. But not at all what I was expecting.

Glad you like [book:Heart of Fire|36096783]!

I also did not like A Duke in Shining Armor. It had some funny moments but I never like stories where people fall in love in like 4 days.....

Let me know how The Obsession is. I've had that on my TBR for quite awhile.

222868 I loved Thor Ragnarok. But hey I love Thor.

I have no interest in seeing Star Wars. I lost track of what was going on a few movies ago. Although according to my nephew none of those movies are part of this story line. But I don't want to see heroes and loved characters of my youth old or dying. Just makes me feel old. I want to believe they all still are in their HEA.
