I'm reading
Going Wild. I needed lightand funny and so far so good.
I-Team fans - Pamela Claire just released a new I-Team book.
Deadly Intent

Finally finished
Wicked Intentions. I gave it 2* and I skimmed some parts. But I do find myself wondering what happens with the sister and who the ghost is, so I may read the next one after a break and a few other books.
Melindeeloo wrote: "I think that someone (Demi) rec'd From Lukov with Love and I -even with my broken book funny bone - laughed out loud at parts. I thought the slow transition from enemies to friends ..."By far her best one (for me ) was
The Wall of Winnipeg and Me. It was the first one I read by her and I still think it is her best. And Deme recommended that one too I think!

I am struggling to finish
Wicked Intentions. I thought about DNFing but I have invested days on this book so far and I'm finally at 70%.

I finished
Eight Simple Rules for Dating a Dragon. It was pretty good. I like the writing style and the humor. A fun series.
Also finished
Becoming A Vincent. Rounded up to 4*. It was pretty fun. The part when his family was over and all the women kept coming by and then running when they found out the H and h were not broken up had me LOL-ing. Just the brother's reaction "this is fascinating" was worth the higher rating.
Just started the first Maiden Lane book
Wicked Intentions which I think I got for free a long time ago. Its a bit dark but good so far. I'm just used to the more humorous historicals.
Vanessa wrote: "LAB... Really? Another Cliffhanger? UGH!! Did you read the last book? Arcana Rising
I stopped at the filler one, Day Zero [bookcove..."I have not read any of them. I have the first 2 or 3 (I think) but I have not started because I keep hearing about the cliff hangers, which I hate. So I have been waiting (A LONG TIME) for the series to end so I could read them. Someone in another group said the book felt like filler and had another giant cliff hanger. She said she wished the series was kept to 3 books as originally intended.
Vanessa wrote: "For those who have read Kresley Cole's Arcana Chronicles book 6 just came out, The Dark Calling.
I might pick this up eventually, but I listen ..."Heard it has another cliffhanger....

I finished
From Lukov with Love. It was ok. I didn't really care for the main character too much. For the first half of the book I felt like she complained too much. She did recognize her faults and admit them to herself, but I got tired of her. The last 3rd or so was pretty good though so I left my review at 3*. It did take me 5 days to finish it though so now I am getting behind on my goodreads challenge for the year. Oh well...
Just started ARC of
Eight Simple Rules for Dating a Dragon. I wasn't sure I was in the mood for it, but I was wrong. It's pretty entertaining so far.

Just one more question, when you..."I'm pretty sure collections you have in your account will show up in cloud for you to access from the device (if it is a collection stored in cloud that is - I don't always do that). But any books would have to be re-downloaded. The kindle will have a different serial number which the DRM is tied to. If you have personal docs or non-DRM content you could plug your kindle in to your PC and just move the files over if they are stored somewhere else besides on the old kindle.

Usually if I notice my paperwhite is getting sluggish (page turns is delayed) a reboot takes care of it. Doesn't happen often though.
I love my paperwhite, but if it ever died I'd probably go all in and get the Oasis.

If I recall there are some Fiirefly fans hers.....
Joss Whedon’s Firefly is coming back as a series of novels

Has anyone tried
A Sorceress of His Own or
Rendezvous With Yesterday by Dianne Duval? Most reviews look good, But I still have not read her other series even though I am pretty sure I bought the first couple of books.

I read 2 duds (for me) in a row.
The Collector &
Gray Wolf Mate. Both were 2*.
Currently reading
Treasure of the Abyss. So far so good. I like that Jax is so possessive. But I'm still trying to figure out if he has a lower body at all or just tentacles....hahaha....
Douglas wrote: "@LAB - Thanks for mentioning Eight Simple Rules for Dating a Dragon I had been waiting on it but oddly it was already approved (you usually have to request books from St Martin unle..."Yeah I ave no idea how I was "pre-approved". I've only gotten 2 books from Net Galley and both times it was the author offering them (same author). Everything else I was rejected since I am not a significant reviewer with a blog, etc.

FangFan - we had to do an ice breaker at work with new team members a while back and to share a "fun fact", and I said that I had read over 150 books the past year and they all looked at me like I was nuts.

So No Galley offered me
Eight Simple Rules for Dating a Dragon without me asking for it. So I grabbed it. It releases in March. I never get anything I request so I stopped requesting, so this was a surprise. Maybe not a lot of people requested it or something and I gave the first 2 books positive reviews, and the only other 2 Net Galley books I've received I gave good reviews....who knows...it was probably just random.....

Hmmmm...never saw GoT but am pretty sure KA openly said that the lead character was inspired by the GoT character, so not really sure if that was underhanded or not. Maybe if I saw GoT would get it more. Either way, one of my favorite books by her. Although book 1 in that series
Wildest Dreams was just as good. The later ones not as much.
