Then next is

Longer term might be
Reluctant Concubine

So any guesses as to who is Ian's mate? "Vanessa I think its that "justice" vamp that is supposed to uphold vamp laws or something. Her name is Veritas.

No luck on other CM Owens books that are fun/wacky. There is a MC series and the Sterling Shore series. Someone on the Kristen Ashley Facebook group had mentioned Sterling Shore as being like KA Rock Chicks, which can be wacky/funny at times, but the book descriptions and some of the reviews don't sound appealing to me and do not sound like the Rock Chicks. They sound New Adult, which I usually don't like.....

I finally finished the Vampire Empire trilogy. I gave each on 3* but have kinda mixed feelings. The ending was ok but there were a lot of things not tied off, at least to my satisfaction. There was also just too many bad things that happened and not enough good, even with the "good guys" prevailing in the end.
Now I need something much lighter. I heard CM Owens who writes the Wild Ones series (Becoming a Vincent) has another series that's kinda wacky. I'm going to check those out.

found it woohooo me"Liz where did you find the .99 deal?

Someone in another group just posted KU is on sale for ¢.99 for two months right now.

Regarding Feversong - reminder/question
(view spoiler)[Can someone remind me if Christian ended up ok after the Song was sung? I remember he was turning into an unseelie prince but I can't remember if he survived at the end. (hide spoiler)] I really should probably reread Feversong....

I actually just did a Fever series reread before the last book came out. I was lucky and originally read them when the first original 5 were out, or those cliff hangers would've killed me. I waited on the the 2nd batch of books until those were all out (I thought Feversong was the last), but by then I had forgotten too much. I really enjoyed the reread though. Having them all back to back was great. Of course now a year or so later I can barely remember what happened again....LOL.... I love some things about this series and other things are hard to take, but it is (for me) so masterfully written it just amazes me. I see myself doing another re-read in a few years.

I'll do a High Voltage buddy read. But I won't start it until after Lake Silence and Burn Bright, since they all come out the same day. So you guys can start without me again.
I'm just worried there is going to be huge cliff hanger. I'm scared!

Finished book 2 of Vampire Empire.
The Rift Walker. Moving on to book 3, because I really want to see some evil people/vampires get what's coming to them!
Then I will probably read
Hello Stranger to mix things up.

(view spoiler)[The thing about the mural is that it has always been in the bookstore, hasn't it? So when was it painted? I think it implies that they are the king and queen now though. Can you remind me, did the dark fae ed up being destroyed when the song was sung? I remember Vale (is that his name) at the end creating more? (hide spoiler)]["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

Is it narrated by James Marsters? I love his voice so much I'd have gotten that one if it was available from Audible. It's a book I'd rather listen to than read, unfortunately. "I'm doing ebook version. Its just that it was from one character's POV then all of sudden a different character's POV or third person. It just threw me off until I got used to it.
I finished this morning. I liked it enough to keep going. Was a bit let down that a bad guy could've been dealt with at the end of the book and was not. I understand the reason given, but would have preferred action taken. I am impatient that way. ;) Of course the next 2 books are probably hinged on the bad guy not being killed....

Oh and I finished
Going Wild and while not quite as good as the first book, it was still fun. 4*

I started
The Greyfriar which has been on my TBR for years. Its ok, but the constantly shifting narration POV throws me off a bit. Not sure if its done on purpose or a better editor was needed. I'll stick with it and see how it goes.
