Finished Flame in the Dark and loved it. I'm trying to read A Duke in Shining Armor because I really need a laugh right now. But I keep getting interrupted and have not really hit a stride yet. Hopefully I'll have more time today.

I've seen that happen to products, but never noticed books. For the products I assumed because a link was reused, etc.

I forgot about NetGalley! I just requested it too.

I am so used to getting rejected by netgalley I have a complex about requesting anything there and have given up. haha!

I'm still working on Flame in the Dark . So little reading time with the holiday shopping and work. And I am so close to my goodreads reading challenge being complete.

Its only in the anthology Myths & Magic: A Science Fiction and Fantasy Collection , which is on KU

And it is a full length book - not a novella

Edited - now I can't find amazon link, so many books come up when I am trying to search.

I went to author site and the book is pictured, but when I click on it to get more info, it goes to a different book.

I finished Heart of Fire . I gave it 5* - I really loved it!. Next book is in March thank god.

Here's my non-spoiler review:

This is by far the best dragon book I have read since Dragonbound by Thea Harrison. In fact, its one of the best fantasy romance books I have ever read. In fact, it's one of the best books I have ever read. I just cannot wait for March for the next book in this series. There were a lot of open issues left at the end of this book I need resolved ASAP! No cliff hanger - but the story definitely continues for the H and h and other characters as well. Its been a while since a book really grabbed my attention and left me wanting more. So looking forward to more books in this series.

So I am loving the Bec McMaster story in this anthology Myths & Magic: A Science Fiction and Fantasy Collection. Her story is Heart of Fire.
Best Dragon story I have read since Dragon Bound, and I am only half way through.

Was just looking at the vote totals, and no other category or book even came close to fantasy/fantastic beasts. Kinda just makes me even more convinced that it was a fake vote, and people probably didn't even read the "book".

Maybe they hadn't read anything in the category and voted for an author they knew. Many probably just saw the movie. Who knows? Maybe I am 100% wrong and that many people really did read the screenplay and liked it enough to vote for it. Everyone has different tastes and Harry Potter has millions of fans.

Now, I did really enjoy the movie. Not saying the author is not talented or it wasn't a good story or anything like that. But it was not a novel, it was a screenplay. And for that to be the best fantasy novel of the year?

The goodreads choice awards are joke. How in the world did the screenplay for Fantastic Beasts by Rowling beat out everyone else in the fantasy category?

I finished Touched by Death and it was "meh" - 2*. Had that present tense/first person POV, which I almost always dislike. Other than that not much happened and there were some things that were never explained. I guess it just wasn't for me.

Just started a Bec McMaster dragon story in the anthology . I only just started but I really like it! As far as I know this story is only available in this anthology but goodreads has it listed as a book 1.... Heart of Fire
