222868 Did Grace Draven ever come out with the next wraith kings book? Eidolon was the last one I heard about.

222868 Overall I liked The Sea King. The first part dragged a bit and I got a little tired of Gabriella constantly rejecting Dilys. Regarding the "incident" that some have mentioned (view spoiler)

The 2nd half did pick up and I liked the revenge that we got to see. I also loved the Calbernans. I'm hoping hoping it doesn't take years for the next book again.

Currently reading The Trouble with Twelfth Grave. I've been chuckling a lot and my family thinks I'm weird.

Chapter header - "I'll tell you what's wrong with society. No one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore."

222868 I finished Susana and the Scot and it was ok. I rounded up on Goodreads and gave it 3*. I had read the first book quite awhile ago and I did remember enough for things to make sense for this book. But I just couldn't believe the plot. I mean the H and h relationship had issues which I won't go into here for spoiler reasons, and I knew who the traitor was from the very beginning. Anyway, I wasn't going to bother with the 3rd book, but I read a few pages and now I am getting into it. Definitely better than book 2. Lana and the Laird. But if I don't finish it by tomorrow I will probably put aside to read either the new Charley Davidson book or The Sea King (provided it actually comes out this time.)

I haven't read any of the Ben/Tanzin novellas. So I guess based on the book blurb for Midnight Labyrinth I probably should....

222868 ooh I just saw there's in a new Raphael & Cyn novella coming out on 10/30. Sounds like Raphael is going to kick some a$$ and get some revenge....

Relentless Relentless (Vampires in America, #11.5) by D.B. Reynolds

I have not loved the last few Vampires in America books, but I always love a good Raphael/Cyn novella.....

222868 I am also way behind in the Belador series,....is it wrapping up soon? Maybe I will wait and then just read all the books together.

Currently reading Bountiful Bountiful (True North, #4) by Sarina Bowen . Contemporary is not my favorite but I like this author. About halfway through and I'm enjoying it.

Outlander show question -
In the books, did Jamie tell Claire about William when she came back like in last week's episode? For some reason I thought I remembered that she didn't know until Lord John and William visited them in America and she could tell by looking at William that Jamie was his father...

222868 Oh I did finish my re-read of The Winter King The Winter King (Weathermages of Mystral, #1) by C.L. Wilson . I'll be very disappointed if The Sea King The Sea King (Weathermages of Mystral, #2) by C.L. Wilson does not release on time. I loved the Sea Lord guy near the end of The Winter King and really want his story and see which sister he ends up with. I have't read the book blurb because I want to be surprised.

222868 I think I am going to DNF The King's Man. I can't get past the writing style. I don't even know what's going on without reading the same paragraph twice. It feels like too much work to me. But others liked it so don't go by me...

So I am going to try one of these next after work.

222868 I'm trying to read The King's Man The King's Man (Welsh Blades #1) by Elizabeth Kingston and its slow going. The way it's written and the way the characters speak are making it hard for me to follow along. I must be tired. I don't usually have this issue. Anyway, I hope it gets better.

Kristi - I really liked The Winter King The Winter King (Weathermages of Mystral, #1) by C.L. Wilson . The h does take a bit of a beating for part of this book too, but it wasn't too bad. I liked how the couple gets to know each other and overcomes their issues. I also liked the world building. I've read it twice already.

222868 Just finished Lord of Scoundrels Lord of Scoundrels (Scoundrels, #3) by Loretta Chase and since everyone else seems to love this book I am sure it was just me but....it was kinda "meh". I gave it 3* because I really liked the h. But the rest was just ok for me.

I'm thinking of doing a reread of The Winter King (Weathermages of Mystral, #1) by C.L. Wilson The Winter King to get ready for The Sea King The Sea King (Weathermages of Mystral, #2) by C.L. Wilson coming out at the end of the month. It better release this time! It's still listed on Amazon for 10/31.
