@Vanessa - A quote from Mark Lawrence - "The trilogy was finished 8 months before Red Sister’s publication. Grey Sister is next, then Holy Sister. And by finished I really do mean finished. Grey Sister has even been edited by the publisher and is practically ready to print." which means somebody out there has the whole thing and I got to wait until next summer !!!

re: Red Sister - I have Red and Grey sister but waiting on the last one so I don't go crazy LOL

@Vinity - I got that feeling but since books 2 & 3 are out I took the chance :) The fact that so many people that were really not fans of hers and definitely not fans of Frankenstein found this series amazing. I am so backed up now I have no clue when I can read it but hope to get to it soon. Got to finish
Venom in the Veins today and have the review ready for tomorrow !

Once again, I have 100s (1000s?) of unread books in my TBR but this looked so shiny and it was only 99 cents and the reviews looked really good and .....
House Immortal

Like someone else mentioned I have read none of Christine Feehan's books since the Drake Sisters and yes the last book was almost like "Who the fk wrote this?" it was so violent and torturous for the heroine (but it is still an exceptional series but the last book was almost like somebody else wrote it)
Magic in the Wind I read this in 2008 been 10 years since I read this series

And for those who have not preordered this yet, might as well go get it, you know you will LOL

One of the worst things to happen in my literary history was the slow destruction of the Anita Blake series, it was one of the series that got me hooked into the paranormal genre, I thought I made it to book 11 or 12 but looking at the list I realize I hung on until book 15 , sad indeed. The series was dead long before then

Tall, Dark, and VampireBleed For Me

That is weird??? Why $15.99 for book 3?? $23.76 for the paperback??

For anyone who is addicted to the Junkyard Druid (officially The Colin McCool Paranormal Suspense Series) the latest book released 2 days ago.
Druid Enforcer and I had to kick something out of my KU list to get it :) (FREE if you have KU)

"how is it that people can give a 1* review on a book that they haven't read, is still on their "to read" list, and more importantly hasn't been released yet. I think that those are totally false and entirely misleading. "
Many reasons for the why, I have never done this other than "The Author Who Shall Not Be Named" until recently I saw a book with a title so stupid (assuming you wanted to sell your book) that I wrote a 1 Star review but deleted it after a few days because at the end of the day it was NOT a book review.
Goodreads does allow you to post a review at any time which is good if you have an ARC you wish to review.
So I can post a 1 Star review of an ARC that I have read at any time if I wish on Goodreads but sadly I can also post one of a book I have never read. The good with the bad since Amazon only allows reviews AFTER the release date except for certain books that allow VINE reviews early (something few authors do anymore, I raised holy hell about it when one of Ilona Andrews books was done that way a few years ago).

We love to spread the addiction :)

@Mindy - "Does anyone know what’s going on with the Ippos king? I thought it was going to be the third book in the Wraith kings series by grace draven. But I can’t find anything on Amazon."
She got caught in a contract clause that does not allow her to publish any indy book (Ippos King) within 3 months of her book for her new publisher
Phoenix Unbound so the release date for The Ippos King had to be pushed back to 25-31 Dec which she posted she hated it but there was no option.

NETGEAR N300 WiFi Range Extender (EX2700)..."Don't feel bad, I have one of those that I bought just for an Echo that is far away from anything and I am pretty sure all it does is use electricity, I don't think anything actually connects to it LOL All my devices connect to my router or my AC1200 Range Extender (EX6200), since you made me think about it I am going to watch the next couple of days and see if ANYTHING actually uses that NETGEAR N300
Elizabeth wrote: "Douglas wrote: "need a wifi booster ..."This one will do everything you need, I have had one for years, the first one lasted 3 years and the power supply died and I bought another one to replace it that has been going for about 2 years. There are more expensive ones and newer ones but this one should do everything you need in WI-Fi but bounce your needs against its capabilities to be sure.

[boo..."Somebody else had recommended that one and I grabbed it a couple of days ago myself. The fact that it was free made it easy :)

I stumbled across a story and a new series to like in that antology, this is book 1 it is FREE on KU and 99 cents otherwise, if it is as good as the short story I loved it
Raising Hell: A Quincy Harker, Demon Hunter Novella

Reading
Chasing the Light: A Benefit Anthology of Speculative Fiction which was given to me by Faith Hunter with a lot of "this might not be as good ..." because several of the stories are from new writers but so far only 1 story has disappointed me and several left me wanting more, it is for a writers charity of sorts. It releases tomorrow and although I tend to dislike anthologies in general, this one seems better than most about halfway through.
Vanessa wrote: "The second book in Hailey Edwards's Foundling series came out today, Bone Driven ..."I have a NetGalley request in for that one that is still being processed, saw it only a few days ago so I might have to buy it because I loved book 1
Bayou Born .

Well since nobody was saying that book 1
Cold-Hearted Rake was great I looked around and grabbed this book 1 of a series which seemed like everybody loved
The Duke and I (With 2nd Epilogue) so that makes 2 books I have grabbed in the last 24 hours that I won't have time to read for a few days at best LOL
