Well after reading about 5 really good books in about 8 days including Iron & Magic I was burned out on reading so I spent most of the last 2 days playing Witcher 3 to get my head back in the mood and today started
Unlit by Kari Arthur and it is REALLY good, lot of intrigue and mystery with a decent amount of action at the 40% mark and loving it (and may have trouble putting it down to sleep tonight)

I just finished
Madfall: A Duo of Dragon Shifter Novellas and surprisingly I thought Grace Draven's story was entertaining but a bit weak (at least for her since she is one of my 5 Star authors) so 3.5 Stars but also surprisingly Dana Marton's story was exceptional and I loved it, I have seen this basic plot a few dozen times but this one becomes very original after a chapter or 2 and one of the best parts is when you think it is over she does a couple of epilogues to bring you the future of our couple, loved it 5 Star

As soon as I get caught up in my books I promised to review, this is what I am grabbing to read, love this series.

I have read a couple of Jill Shavis books and they were decent but nothing to be remembered. She is fairly popular so maybe I just got a couple of duds.

@Frisco - Too many people think I am bragging if I talk too much about ARCs I have received :)

I finally finished
Vampire's Faith and it was a good story of about 300 pages that would have been great at about 220, I finally got tired of the slow pace and wasted pages and skipped several chapters and the fact that I pretty much lost NOTHING backs up my conclusion it had a lot of wasted pages. Left a ton of stuff undone for anther book I guess but unless they send it to me I doubt I will go out of my way to read it. Now on to what I am sure will be a REALLY great book :)

Reading
Vampire's Faith and I usually love her books but this one really needs to pick up the pace, so far (31%) I could put it down and never pick it back up again.

Well Kira Archer, the author of
69 Million Things I Hate About You (which I really liked) has released another in this series of "Winning The Billionaire" called
Scotland or Bust but I am a bit put off because the book in the middle of these 2
The Billionaire's Unexpected Baby really kinda sucked but for $2.99 I might take a chance

re:
A Knight in Shining Armor after listening to some of you folks and reading some of those reviews a little closer I think I will pass (since it ain't cheap) it appears that she spends the whole book with one guy and then ends up with another guy who is the reincarnated soul of the original guy. Since I don't know all the details it sounds like a real possibility of something less than a HEA

I just grabbed it. What do you think of it? It will be awhile before I get to it."Sounds interesting but stressful :)

Hailed worldwide as one of the most romantic novels of all time, “a glorious love story that spans centuries, worlds, and souls. It is the epitome of every woman’s fantasy". How is it I never read this? It has 5 Star reviews from like .... everybody! (including some folks I know rate tougher than me .) The synopsis sounded kinda cheesy
A Knight in Shining Armor
Paula wrote: "I'm not looking forward to Venom in the Veins they are just feeling to much like rinse and repeat."True but this one has a real shocker at the very end to set up the next book, I have to believe this series is within 2-3 books of the end. It also has a story of a young Gin still learning her "skills" interwoven throughout the book which made it a bit more readable (and I scanned a LOT less)

I finished
Any Duchess Will Do and enjoyed it so much I immediately started
Do You Want to Start a Scandal and while not quiet as funny so far I just read a scene of the mother having a "birds and bees" conversation with her daughter using vegetables from the kitchen as visual aids. I thought I might require CPR LOL

@Vinity - I have laughed more at
Any Duchess Will Do than anything I have read in a long time, was reading in the doctors office today and the other folks probably thought I was a bit insane :)

re: Quincy Harker - I discovered him reading a short story in the
Chasing the Light: A Benefit Anthology of Speculative Fiction

It starts out wonderfully, hope it keeps it up :)

Well as much as I love violence and revenge after 3 books of blood and gore I needed a change so I grabbed this one (hope I don't need the 3 books before it)
Any Duchess Will Do

I have a new addiction, Quincy Harker, relation of Dracula and demon hunter exceptional, heavy on profanity and fights on the side of justice and would be easy to hate :)
