According to Dawn's link, I pretty much was right about myself:
You Are 20% Extrovert, 80% Introvert
You are quite reserved
You aren't afraid of social situations...
But you very much prefer to go it alone
And why not? You're your own best friend!

I kind of suprise myself. Nowadays, I very rarely walk out of a book store with more than I went in to get. Used book sales at places like the public library it is a bit more difficult though, since it is so much easier to spend 25 cents here or a dollar there for a book than it is to spend about 25 dollars for something like a new hardcover.

Last night at Anderson's Bookshop I got to meet
Katherine Applegate and she signed for me her new book
which I put on the same level as
Charlotte's Web. She also signed my first printings of
and
. I even got to shake her hand! I've never touched an author before. lol :-)

I got
The One and Only Ivan autographed by
Katherine Applegate last night at Andersons.

I'm definately an introvert. I have no problem interacting with others, but I prefer to be alone with a good book. For me to go out, someone pretty much as to come to me and invite me.

Received my order of

So far, I'm at 30 of 365 (8%)
At my current pace, I'm 2 books (1%) behind.

Got
delivered.

Today we begin the shortest month of the year, but this year we get an extra day to buy books! Woo hoo! Share here what you get.

Got another one for my collection:

Received today:
Christine wrote: "I just finished one of my "currently-reading" books but it didn't update to my 2012 goals. Is this because I started the book in December?"Might be. If so, you could just change the start date to this year, then it would probably count it, so long as the end date of course is entered as well.
Laura wrote: "If I could include comics in this challenge my amounts would probably be in the 200's."I know what you mean. I do count graphic novels, but only if they have 100 pages or more.

For me, I've pretty much got two types of books. Type One are books I buy because I know I want to own and read them. Type Two are library books I'm checking out of the library first to read before I buy them because I am not sure I will like them and want to own them. The problem with Type Two regarding my TBR list is that I have to place a hold on and wait for many of these library books. Too often, I am placing the hold when I am in the mood for this book, but when it arrives I may not be in the mood to read it, so it might having to go back to the library before I feel like reading it. It then stays on my list because I usually am still interested in reading it, some day.
Like Rita, I've created a To Be Read Next list for my most recent purchases and check outs so they don't get buried as my TBR list grows out of control.

Got the two most recent books from the Lady Emily mystery series
&
and an absolutely amazing read
