So nice to know I am not alone. I admit it, I have the addiction bad. One might think my being a public librarian would help wean me off of buying so much, but actually it makes things worse. Any books we withdraw from our collection I have first dibs on buying used! lol. Add to that any new books I do check out of the library and like I often end up buying from Amazon or Borders and you can see why I often tell friends I am the definition of bibliophile. I really love to read and collect books and becoming a librarian a few years ago was really a dream come true, even if my employer does seem to get quite a bit of my paycheck back in payment for used books. lol

Hello all and welcome. Feel free to introduce yourself.

Grab the nearest book to you and flip to page 28. Go to lines 4, 5, and 6 and list them here. I'll start.
The Red Tent"I know what they all thought- my sisters and the shepherds- but we never touched. Well, only once. He held me to his chest, but then he began trembling and pushed me away."

Just a comment to start this folder. Any questions, feel free to post them here.

For me, it was
A Treasury of Animal Stories. An old childhood favorite I had been looking for for years and finally found used on Amazon. How about you?

Near the end of each month, I think we should stand up and proudly announce how many books we did buy that month and tell where we got them. Nothing to be ashamed of, right? :-)
I'll start. My name is Joseph and as of July 28th, I bought 53 books this month. 51 of them at used book sales at the library and the other 2 from Amazon. How about you?
