Nice way to start the month, got a delivery from BookDepository:
Dancing With Werewolves

Ok, October is over, time to tally up everyone. Post your results here and visit the poll here, too, please.

I should have know this would happen. I brought 7 more used books home from the library today. So that makes my final total for October: 49. Good thing I bought those two new bookcases, I'm definately gonna need them. :-)

Hello all. Just wanted to share a new resource I've discovered online. It's called Fantastic Fiction
http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/ It provides bibliographies for over 25,000 authors of all sorts of genres: mystery, fantasy, romance, etc.
The site also has information on over 300,000 books. Throughout the site, you can just click on a book to see its cover picture, description and publication details.
I've found it very helpful for keeping up with series.

I get a %40 off coupon from Borders in the email yesterday, today I go in and use it to buy
Thirteen Orphans.
Then I go to the local library to pick up a book and at their used book shelf I find:

Wish You Were HereSo......., that only takes me up to 37 now. Only two days left in October. Thank goodness. lol

Dorsi, it may sound good too be true, but so far I have been nothing but satisfied with BookDepository. I've gotten some great deals from them, things like 50% off cover prices. Only thing about them is you don't know for sure when your book will be arriving, but my orders so far have arrived within a reasonable time frame. The only maybe bad thing I can think to say about this site is they are a book buying addict enabler, I've bought so many books from them I probably would not have bought if they weren't such great deals, amazing prices and no shipping costs.

Susan, well, depends how you look at it. So far this month I've ONLY gotten 31 new books. ;-) Don't know if the 9 I just ordered will arrive in time to count as October purchases, though. Still have a couple days left, so you never know. :-D

Here's how to play. Each person gives a title that begins with the next letter of the alphabet following the one the previous person gives.
For example, I start with
Ashes of Aries by
Martha C. LawrenceThe next person gives a title that begins with B.
Also, do the best you can not to repeat a title already used. And good luck to the person who gets Q, X, or Z. :-D Let's see how long we can keep it going. When we hit Z, just start over at A.
Also, "The", "A", and "An" don't count in the start of a title.
Update: The person who gets the A title also chooses a genre. All the titles from that A until Z must be from that genre.
Update 2: We keep twisting the rules so check the most recent to see how things are going.

Bookdepository is very dangerous to a Book Buying Addict, and Amazon isn't much safer. I just ordered six more books from them, and three more from Amazon. I just couldn't resist. Help! lol

I'm going to try to not buy any more new books this month, but we'll see what happens regarding used.
