Hello all! Starting up the monthly discussions for December 2017 book-of-the-month suggestions. This discussion is for the MODERN CLASSICS/POPULAR READS CATEGORY.

As a reminder, books that qualify for this category must have a publication date 1970 and after. If the book you wish to nominate was published 1969 or prior, please make your suggestion on the Classics thread.

I'll start off by suggesting A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin.

Maybe not a 4th cateogry but.... a non-fiction month as a theme? Just don't want to have too many books going at once. But sounds like there is a lot of non-fiction interest.
