As it always is with this club - we have a tight race and a tie!
Native Son and
The Blind Assassin are neck and neck!
Come on out and Rock the Vote! (The 90's called and want their catchphrase back)

Large influx of votes last night for
Native Son and it takes the lead!
I am removing
Falconer as it has not votes so far.
Again - even if you cannot join us, feel free to share your opinion and vote! :)

Just wanted to check in - did anyone end up reading this now? Remember, the threads will stay up if you end up reading it in the future.
I look forward to discussing it, but read it a couple of years ago so remembering the specifics and when they happened in the book it tough. So, starting any discussion could be tough for me!
I may go back and look through my copy and see if I can find anything to start up chatter.

This group got started by Justin to read the Time 100 Book list, so our poll for July will have us going back to that list.
Please vote, even if you don't plan to join us. It is just interesting to see what everyone is interested in! So far, narrowing these down with voting has helped me discover some great books I may have not ready if it was not for this group!

Carol - I am having trouble getting it to load!

Yes - I am planning to start in July.

Beth - he keeps his views out of at least Ender's Game, but if you Google him I am sure you will quickly find what we are referring to.

On my review of this book, someone commented on the author's views causing their enjoyment of this book to be skewed.
Now, I don't want to get into an angry debate/argument, but I am wondering if anyone else's experience with this book was affected by this?

And it's
Ender's Game by one vote!
Don't worry -
I, Robot will be back for the next second chance poll.

Welcome Mina and Beth!

I finished this last night and LOVED it - sooooo good!

I bet you many an English class was given an assignment to speculate on this . . .

We had a tie - go here to pick between Ender's Game and I, Robot:

I have found myself reading a lot of WWII dramas lately . . . what's up with that?

Voting ends today - if you haven't yet - VOTE! :)

Interesting - part 2 - totally different chapter structure and feel.

Holy Cow! This book drops a bomb almost every chapter. Ending up being much, much better than I expected!
