This one is still neck and neck . . .
There can be only one!
Two 5 books enter, one book leaves!

Poll is open until the 20th - Les Mis in the lead!

Soooooooooooo close . . . come on out and vote!
Les Misérables is off to a strong start! Only 18 votes so far.
Remember - if you haven't voted because you don't want to promise to read this starting in April, that is okay. Go ahead and vote - it is interesting to see what the group consensus is.

Man - the Russians really didn't understand the reality of war!

Wake up call for the Russian people! It seems they thought that battle was something that happens "way over there" until it comes barreling up main street of your hometown.

To go with your BIG Read Poll, here is another Short Read Poll for April. I have brought back some of the titles from our last Short Read Poll and added a couple of new ones.
Again, no obligation to read along, just interested in what you might read from this list if you were to pick one.

Time for another BIG Read Poll. This is a book we will read April through June 2016.
Last time we had a 3 way tie for 3rd place. So, this time, those three books are going up against each other.
No obligation to read if you vote! Just interested in seeing what you would read if you were to read a BIG book next.

Another one for me was
The Ocean at the End of the Lane, but I see you gave that 5 stars. I was in the minority on that one!

Ha! That was one of the ones that came to mind!

It's not bad. It has its slow moments, but I have read books with less than 200 pages that have felt longer.

I lost focus for a few days and missed my reading of this one!
Did some extra reading yesterday . . . definitely back into War . . . and Nicholas is not liking the reality of war that much!

Ally - thanks for checking in! I don't mind talking to myself, but it is good that someone is listening! :)

I think Tolstoy is getting some of his opinions in again.

Back to WAR!

Starts in March . . . but the discussion can go on into the future! :) I have been behind on a few recently, too - work keeps getting in the way of my reading time!
