Pretty good so far. I am not getting a cohesive storyline yet though.

Gillian Flynn does seem good at this. Another book in this genre would be The Poison Tree.
I will get this conversation kicked off - who has read this one already and what did you think? (be sure to hide spoilers for those just starting this month!) I did not care for it at all - the hype "train" (see what I did there?) did not stop at my station. It seemed kind of lazy and contrived to me.
But . . . that is just my opinion and I know that this is loved by many! :)
There is a lot of old-and-proper vs young-and-wild in this book. Looks like that is an age old conflict!
Ha! This book is kind of funny - the bear swimming around with a policeman chained to his back. I was not expecting humor!
Ugh! Another problem - I am having a hard time determining if the copy I have is unabridged or not - but every site I looks at doesn't say that it is - however, the chapter breakdown does not match the one I just linked. This book seems to be a mess!!Anyone else ever encountered this problem with this book????
Okay - I think I finally figured out the breakdown of the Table of Contents. There seems to be lots of differing opinions about how this book can be broken down, so hopefully the breakdown I included in each volume makes sense.This seems like I useful link resource - and each chapter has a nice summary!:

So far, I am a bit confused about who is French and who is Russian. I have a feeling I will need some visual aids to accompany this book!
