I just read that the movie for Atonement is being added to Netflix on February 15th

Hello, Judy! I used to live in Gardiner, MT - been to Billings many times. Welcome to the group.

Did we have any new readers of this one this month? Seems like most of the discussion was by those who did not care for it and read it previously. Don't be scared off by all of us curmudgeons! If you liked it, feel free to share that, too!

Put this one on hold at the library. I am curious to see why some people love and some people hate this one.

I am in part four, which in my version I think is volume two . . .

We are is post war "Peace" now. And I put peace in quotes because things are not necessarily so peaceful off the battlefield.

I think I finished volume 1! (version skew is confusing! )

WHEW! We have had a swing and now Lolita is tied with Atonement! It appears that some may have switched their votes from The Blind Assassin so, Atonement and Lolita have a 3 vote lead.
