Lolita.
Atonement is awful.

Close race! I'm hoping Atonement wins because I have read so many heated reviews and debates over how horrible it is or how great it is so I'm curious to see where I'd land; I have almost picked it up several times over the last year but never do...maybe this is the push I need.

I read Lolita last year and it was painful to get through. I didn't think it was bad, it just was not what I would call an enjoyable read.
