“Okay then.” Jackson snatches up another handful of popcorn and shovels it in his mouth before chewing with it half-opened. I swear, one day I’m going to shove my fist in there, and then maybe he’ll learn to shut the hell up. “So you don’t want me to eat you out right here on the couch?”

I drop the bowl and popcorn spills out all over my lap. I close my eyes, take a deep breath, and whisper, “I hate you.”

Her family have been trying to find her for years, and when they do, she had no idea how much her life would change. 

It becomes filled with designer clothes, fancy things, and a school full of snotty students who seem to know more about who she is than she does. 

Then there's Channing Southerland… The boy who hates her for a reason unknown to her, and show gets under her skin lie no one else can. However, their hatred for each other is only a cover up for the lust and unwelcome desire they start to feel for each other, which, in true Amanda style, slaps you in the face every.single.time. 

Amanda has a liking for strong female characters and male characters who are only assholes on the outside - but always finds a way to connect them. Paisley and Channing are undoubtedly my favorite Amanda Heath couple, and this story was made complete by the supporting characters who provide for some very entertaining reading. As always, there i9s plenty of drama, sexual tension, wild parties and crazy family members who love to interfere.

The angst, and sadness emanating from the main characters, Delilah and Abel, is so palpable that their story tugs at your heart. YOu root for them, hoping that they will find their peace, and find each other, and when the epilogue rolls around, you.will.be.FLOORED. The twist in this book is unlike anything Teresa has written before, and you don't see it coming until the very end. 
You will laugh, because Delilah and Abel are both very sarcastic and snarky, you will cry because they've both lost so much, and you will fall in love with them because it's a beautiful woven love story that is impossible to ignore.

Green eyes studied me for a moment before his lips crashed against mine, pressing me back down to the couch. “How could I deny you when you beg like that? Erika Ashby has done it again! Somehow this woman keeps cranking out these uber hot men for me to pant and drool over! Save Me From Me is the fourth book in the Timing is Everything series but can also be read as a stand alone. However, I strongly recommend reading the other 3 books in the series so you can get to know Jake (In the End), Derrick(Moving Forward) and Seth (No Going Back). Just be careful you don’t get your heart set on Seth because he is TAKEN….by me ;) But I digress...let’s get back to this newest panty melter...Holden.
SMFM is a bit of a love triangle and is the story of Dani (Danielle), Holden and Gage.

Dani has recently moved back to her hometown after the death of her father with whom she was very close. She is struggling with his death and trying to protect her mother from her god awful sister and brother who take advantage of her every chance they get. Dani is a tough, little bad ass but deep down she does have a little bit of a gooey center. She dreams of being a photographer and taking pictures is her passion but she is stuck in a dead end convenient store position in order to make ends meet. Her photography is her way of escaping the world.
“The world can be so ugly. Why wouldn’t I want to capture all the beautiful moments as a reminder that they do exist?”


Gage is Dani’s old high school boyfriend and their flame is quickly rekindled but something is off with Gage and Dani can’t quite bring herself to go all in with him. Especially when she can’t keep her mind off the sexy, new in town stranger that she “met” for the first time when she caught him outside the bar getting some downtown action from the town whore. Dani finds herself extremely drawn to him and he feels the same way about her. However, Holden is only in town temporarily for work and Dani hesitates to get involved in a relationship that can’t last. Holden is also hesitant as he has been deeply hurt in the past by the woman he loved. Regardless of how they feel and what they know they “should” do, these two just can’t stay away from each other.  Holden is extremely attracted to Dani and loves everything about her!
“She has this I don’t give a shit attitude, but I can tell that she does give a shit and I have a feeling only really lucky people get to see that side of her. Oh how I wish I was lucky.”
These two go through a lot before they finally get together but when they do, it is hot, off the charts sexy!! They also go through some really tough stuff that will make you cry so keep the tissues handy.  Can these two get through all of their obstacles and find a HEA? Or should Dani be with Gage who is steady, constant and will be there for her no matter what. Who does she chose? Well...you will just have to read it and find out! This one was a 4.5 star read for me and I definitely recommend it :)

Review: Breathless by Rachel Brookes
Like most of the readers who read and fell in love with Rachel’s first book, Just Breathe, I was eagerly anticipating the opportunity to spend some time with Tate Conners, and get into his head.
Breathless, although a novella, fills in a few pieces and sets up the story foundation for the third and final book, Breathe Again. It allows us to get to know Tate one-on-one, and what makes him tick. It also gives us a glimpse of the broken man he was before Savannah walked into his life and turned it right side up.
This is another amazing part of the story that Rachel Brookes is telling us, and proves to be emotional when Tate and Sav reach yet another obstacle and impasse in their relationship. Of course, things are different, now that they have an extra person to think about, and must still find a way to communicate with each other despite the odds, and distance, that seem to be against them.
While Tate and Sav leave each other Breathless (because holy hell things get very hot in this book), what left me breathless was the ending. It’s a cliffy, but the best cliffy possible – the kind that will make you hold your breath until the third book comes out.

Blake Ryan would always be the thorn in my side, and every time he climbed out of his little hole, the thorn would dig a little deeper into my flesh. Why I even thought about him pissed me off. I had no right to be jealous of anything that had happened between him and Savannah—she hadn’t been mine then. But it was almost like he was a constant reminder of what I didn’t want to become. He didn’t give a shit about anyone but himself, and he was willing to hurt those closest to him for a meaningless screw—and that’s what he did with Sarah. The one thing that pissed me off the most about Blake wasn’t the fact that he’d screwed my ex-girlfriend or that I’d treated him like a brother and he had decided to shit all over that with one move. It was that I knew if he were in trouble I’d be there in a millisecond. He’d ripped my heart out, stomped on it, and laughed in my face, but I knew that if I ever got the call, if he ever reached out to me, I’d be by his side without question. So here’s a giant fuck you to those who think I don’t have a heart. Standing in the loneliness of the boardroom, I watched her closely through the glass wall. Savannah was pissed and kept her eyes from mine. The sound of her slamming things down on her desk with a look of feisty annoyance plastered on her face swum through the office. The boyfriend that also doesn’t know when to think before he speaks.”I moved towards her. “Sav, look, I’m—”But she shook her head in warning and raised her hand. “Tate, I don’t want to hear it.” She took off through the office, not speaking to me or anyone in her path. Following closely, I felt my frustrations bubbling deep inside me. This was not how our reunion was supposed to turn out. We should be laughing and joking with each other. Right now I should be saying and doing inappropriate things to her. We shouldn’t have this silence that was engulfing us. She stormed through the office, only stopping briefly at the reception desk to speak to the cute girl who had helped me earlier. She looked between Sav and me and dropped her head. She didn’t have to be a brainiac to pick up on the tension. The sounds and fiasco of New York City consumed me as soon as we exited the building. Here we were, walking down one of the busiest streets in the world with hundreds of people surrounding us, but the silence between us was strangling me. I could sense the familiar feeling of panic rising within me as we walked down Fifth Avenue. Our bodies weren’t touching, we weren’t talking, and we weren’t being us.“Why don’t you trust me?” Sav’s voice asked quietly against the echo of New York City. “I do trust you.”
Savannah stopped suddenly in the middle of the sidewalk and turned towards me. People stepped around us, muttering under their breath for us to move, but I didn’t give a fuck about them. My only concern was for my girlfriend, who was now looking completely defeated and crushed because of my stupid mouth. “Well what is it, Tate? You’ve got to stop doing this. I can’t stick around, waiting for you to decide to believe that I am with you and only you. You need to decide whether you trust me or not. I have another person to think of now.” My eyes followed her hands as she cradled her stomach protectively.
