I Probably Shouldn’t Watch The Rockies Game
I probably shouldn’t watch the Rockies game. I don’t usually, but I should likely make sure I continue that for this game.
Mind you, I’m writing this on Thursday before the game. They might not even be in the playoffs anymore by the time this goes live. I don’t even know how long the playoffs last.
What I do know is that the last time I remember them getting into the playoffs, we actually went to see. It was horrifically cold and it took us forever to get into the game. Then they lost, badly. First round.
It makes me think this is like the Broncos. The first time they recently got to the Super Bowl, I watched part of it. They got slaughtered. The next time I didn’t watch, and they won. Perhaps I’m a jinx. I watched the Rockies in the playoffs and they lost the same way the Broncos lost the Super Bowl when I watched and won when I didn’t.
Imma be a good guy and not watch. Let’s see if it helps.

Office Flu Shot Clinics Should Be Scheduled On Casual Fridays
Office flu shot clinics should be scheduled on casual Fridays.
I’ve gotten my flu shot at office clinics for the last 8 years in a row. They always do it during the week. During the week, most people have long sleeve shirts. Since they need to do the shot in the shoulder, that means a great deal of difficulty getting the long sleeve shirt either rolled up or unbuttoned enough to expose the upper arm.
However, most offices have casual Friday rules. People are much more likely to wear short sleeve shirts on casual Fridays. As such, why not schedule the flu shot clinics on casual Fridays? It’d be much easier to give the shorts that way, much less fighting with the shirts. Sure, not everyone office will be able to do that since there are a lot of offices to schedule clinics for in a given town, but I’ve never been at an office where the clinic was on casual Friday yet.
You’d think they’d at least try.

I Haven’t Posted An Animated Hot Dog Gif In A While
With spending all last month just posting titles from my new book, I haven’t posted a hot dog animated gif in a while. Let’s fix that.
There we go.

Imma Start A Belly Button Rumor
Imma start a belly button rumor. I’m going to put forth the idea that people have innies or outties based on which way the hospital tied the knot on the umbilical cord after birth. Maybe I’ll link clockwise/counterclockwise to the coriolis effect for whether it gets pulled in or pushed out. I bet I could get SOMEONE to believe it.
People believe a lot of things.

Someone Should Write a “31 Days of Halloween” Song
Someone should write a “31 Days of Halloween” song. You know, like the 12 Days of Christmas? Maybe it could expand the holiday a bit, I don’t know. Someone should do it though.
Of course, we apparently don’t celebrate 12 days of Christmas anymore, even with the song. I suppose we used to and it fell out of favor, but maybe the reverse could happen with Halloween.
We do still have this whole kind of amorphous holiday season between Thanksgiving and New Year, so maybe it’s still something. Of course, we have kind of the same from Labor Day through Thanksgiving for Halloween.
Still…someone get on the song.
