There Was Actually Money In The Bible
I used to clean hotel rooms back in the summer of 92. Two of the more senior cleaners who trained me taught me to flip through the bible in each room. Not to read, to check for money. This weekend that paid off.
$5.
I swear this has paid off once or twice before, but I’ve been doing it regularly whenever in a hotel room in the past 25 years or so. Just a quick flip, see if anything comes out. Usually not, but once in a while it’s like they told me…sometimes Christian guests put money in there to reward people who are reading the bible while in a hotel. I’m not…but I still got the $5.
It’s just a habit at this point.

Still Waiting For King Fong’s To Reopen
Still waiting for King Fong’s to reopen. They’ve been on hiatus for years now, but I’m still hoping they do end up reopening.
They’re probably closed for good no matter what they said, but I can still hope.
