Describe your SFR writing with 5 words: Space princesses save the world! (Anna here: Ooh, I’m intrigued!)
What’s your favorite:
Sci-fi film – It has got to be Star War (A New Hope) – the original and still the best. Cassandra (the heroine of Loving the Prince) is a complete and utter homage to Princess Leia.
Sci-fi TV show – Firefly. I didn’t discover it until years after, but by the end of I was grieving the loss of it as keenly as those who originally saw and loved it did. Mal, oh Mal. Man, I’ve so got to watch that again.
Sci-fi romance book – Johanna Lindsey’s ‘Warrior’s Woman’. Was the first I read and I still adore it. In fact, it’s my favourite romance full stop. Having said that, ‘At Star’s End’ is a rollicking fantastic ride, Anna! (Anna here: Thanks, Nicole! And I *love* Warrior’s Woman too!)
Spaceship – The Millenium Falcon. Is there any other ship? (Anna here: Not according to my 3 yr old)
Sci-fi gadget – It’s a toss up between a lightsaber and the Doctor’s sonic screwdriver. I mean, the things that little gadget can do. But then, a lightsaber is so cool. Hey – imagine if the sonic screwdriver was the handle of a lightsaber…

Describe your latest release in just one sentence: When your people are relying on you to see them through the darkest time in their history, when is it too late to realise the woman you sent away is the only one who can help you?

Describe your SFR writing with 5 words: action-packed, intense, sexy, romantic and fun
What’s your favorite:
Sci-fi TV show – A hard question because I love so many different sci-fi shows for different reasons! I’ll have to go with Firefly, though, simply because I think Joss Whedon is one of the best creative minds and writers of our generation. Plus who wouldn’t love a space-set western where everyone speaks Chinese as a second language? (Anna here: I adore Firefly!)
Sci-fi romance author – Easily Linnea Sinclair. The first sci-fi romance I ever read was her Finder’s Keepers, and I knew as soon as I’d finished it that I had found the one genre I really loved.
Sci-fi hero – Captain Mal on Firefly, which is kind of cheating since I also said its my favorite show. There’s just something about a handsome, smart-talking, gun-slinging, space-ship flying hero that I can’t go past! Plus Mal found more trouble than he avoided, yet he always handled it with style!
Spaceship – I always found the big, glitzy pyramid-like spaceships of the Goa’uld on Stargate SG1 fascinating. Plus some of the best Stargate moments happened on board those ships when the team were facing down impossible odds or Jack was delivering brilliantly timed one-liners.
Sci-fi weapon – John Crichton’s Winnona on Farscape. Not because the gun was anything special, but because he named it and loved that damn pulse pistol so much. And the few times she failed were hilariously bad timing.

Must Read, Free Science Fiction Romance Books
Right now I’m busy working on more Phoenix Adventures, a new sci-fi romance series called Hell Squad and a new action romance series releasing later in the year!
I’m busy writing but I don’t have any new releases this month. I thought since I didn’t have any new books for you, I’d share some great science fiction romances I’ve read lately AND it gets better…they’re FREE.
I also have one more bonus for you: I have two books free right now! Details below.

Experience love and adventure among the stars in ‘Tales from the SFR Brigade,’ a digital anthology of eight Science Fiction Romance stories.
Download for free here
Note from Anna: I enjoyed all the stories in this anthology.
Skulking around in the ruins on a planet swarming with treasure hunters, slavers, and bounty hunters isn’t good for one’s health.
Note from Anna: action, adventure and sci-fi romance…right up my alley.
Three novellas of science fiction romance
On the edge of space…
On the edge of danger…
On the edge of desire…
Note from Anna: Fun, fast sci-fi romance reads
AND I currently have two sci-fi romance books for free as well! Grab them while you can.
A stand-alone novella in the Phoenix Adventures
A flirtatious fortune teller + a sexy, single-minded marshal = a steamy, sci-fi romance novella.
P.S. There is an extra special deal at the end of this book!
Book 1 of the Anomaly Series
A woman who can stop time + the ex-Navy SEAL hunting her = a sexy, action-packed novella
Happy reading!

The Anomaly Series has New Covers
I am pleased to show off the new covers for the Anomaly Series books! A few people have asked why I decided to change the covers (because the original covers were very pretty!) Well, it was time for a change, I wanted something a little sexier and that reflected the science fiction romance aspect of the books a bit more. Plus, I felt a more cohesive look for the series wouldn’t hurt.
P.S. Yes, the series title has changed from the Anomaly Trilogy to the Anomaly Series. I felt that since there were already 4 books in the series, the change made sense. Will I write more books…well, I don’t have anything planned, but never say never.

Best Action Romance Books 2014
Here are my best action romance books for 2014. Now, not all of these books were published in 2014, it’s just the year I read them. And they are in a purely random order.
There is quite a mix from urban fantasy with very strong romances (Patricia Briggs and Ilona Andrews), to steampunk (Meljean Brook and Bec McMaster), to contemporary fun (Kristin Ashley and Liliana Hart), to paranormal (Larissa Ione, Nalini Singh and Meljean Brook) and of course, science fiction romance (Linnea Sinclair, Veronica Scott, SFR Brigade and Rachel Bach).
If you like action with your romance, then check these out! Just click on the cover to go to Goodreads for more info.
