She Who Flows

Ease. Being open to change. Go with the flow of Life.

Water is the most powerful force on our planet. It has the potential to destroy everything in its path or be embracing, still, and gentle. When a river meets a rock, it doesn’t try to move it; instead, it embraces it and flows around it. It doesn’t question why the rock is there – it sees it as part of its path.

Water teaches us how to flow with Life. How to greet the obstacles on our path with open arms and receive Life fully. In this way, the world’s waters have literally shaped and crafted the entire landscape ofthe planet that we know and love today. Mountains and valleys, coastlines and woodlands – all are the result of water embracing Life.

The ancient Greek Goddess Rhea was the daughter of Gaia (Earth) and Uranus (heaven). She’s also referred to as Cybele, mother of us all. In his work Cratylus, the philosopher Plato referred to Rhea as a stream or ‘she who flows’. Perhaps Rhea herself has much to share with us about how to truly flow with what appears on our journey, whether expected or unexpected. Call upon her to support you in embracing any unexpected changes you’re facing.

Card of the day from The Healing Waters Oracle

This card invites us to stop seeing the unexpected things in life as obstacles, and instead to treat them as invitations to embrace Life. To find a way to soften and embrace what occurs rather than try to avoid it or fight it. To flow with rather than resist.

Soul Inquiry

What unexpected obstacles are you resisting or fighting against right now? What would happen if you embraced them as part of your path?

The Rainbow

Sweet relief. New beginnings. A new way forward.

There are countless myths from all corners of the world that feature rainbows. In most cases, the rainbow symbolizes a bridge between heaven and earth and is a sign of good fortune. Perhaps the most widely known story comes from Irish folklore – it says that there’s a pot of gold waiting at the end of the rainbow, guarded by a leprechaun.

In Norse mythology, Bifrost, the rainbow bridge, connects Earth with Asgard, home of the Gods. Ancient Japanese folklore says that rainbows are bridges that the ancestors of humans took to descend to Earth. In the Old Testament book of Genesis, God sets a rainbow in the sky as a comforting symbol to humanity that he will never again destroy the Earth with floods.

Card of the day from The Healing Waters Oracle

In this oracle, the rainbow is here to comfort and reassure you that the future is full of hope. If you’ve been going through a challenging time lately, the rainbow is your sign that there are clearer skies ahead of you. Rest deeply in the knowledge that the rainbow brings with it a feeling of sweet relief and a simpler future. There are new beginnings beckoning you forth. There’s a clear and vibrant way forward and the path is steady with opportunities for deep joy, safety, comfort, and peace.

The Sweet Waters

Sensuality. Romance. Enjoyment. Fertility. Balance.

In mythology, the sweet waters are associated with the fresh waters of the Earth and with the sweet breast milk of the Great Mother. Osun, an orisha(deity) of Nigeria’s Yoruba people, is associated with water, fertility, sensuality, and love, and also with the color yellow, honey, and bees. Osun is a great Mother Goddess who brings balance to Earth and to humanity, and she’s also referred to as the mother of the orphans.

We know that we need fresh water to survive, and yet we’ve not been protecting and appreciating the very thing that sustains us. When the waters are clean and protected, Life is in balance and the world is fertile.

Card of the day from The Healing Waters Oracle

This card is an invitation to enjoy the simple, sweet pleasures of Life. To appreciate the fertility of nature all around you. To tend to your own garden and the sweet waters of your life.

How can you recognize, receive, and enjoy the sweetness of your life a little bit more?

The Well Maidens

Kindness. Respect. Reverence. Compassion.

Throughout history, there have been people who have tended to and protected our life‑giving wells. In the lands of what is today the United Kingdom and Europe, many of these sacred wells were named after Goddesses – including Brigid, Danu, Solis, and Anu– before they were absorbed by Christianity. If you sit at these wells, you may feel the wisdom of these ancient peoples echoing on in these waters, which remain protected.

The Elucidation is an old poem that tells of guardians who fulfilled this holy role across the land –a greedy king and his men violated the well maidens, the guardians of the kingdom’s wells, and took more than they needed. They ignored the sacred contract of respecting the well maidens and the waters of the sacred wells, and as a result, the kingdom became desolate and barren.

Card of the day from The Healing Waters Oracle

The well maidens are the keepers of harmony and balance. They respect the sacred waters, and as a result they give plenty. They deliver a message about the importance of these qualities in the way we treat ourselves, others, and the nature that sustains and supports us. They remind us to slow down and offer kindness and respect to others, the Earth, and ourselves, each and every day.

How can you offer kindness and respect toyourself, the Earth, and others today?

The Water Oracle

Psychic abilities. Acting on visions. It’s destined.

Water has long been associated with the feminine mystical arts, with seers, oracles, and psychics using it to receive visions of the present and future. Scrying is a mystical practice that’s been used since ancient times all over the world. It’s the art of gazing at something with a reflective surface, including water, to detect messages or visions.

The earliest documentation of scrying reaches back to ancient Babylonia. It’s believed that the scryer would add oil or flour to a bowl of water and then ‘read’ the resulting mixture to receive helpful visions. This divination practice is referred to as lecanomancy, and it’s a form of hydromancy.

When The Water Oracle appears before you, it’s a sign that something is destined. Written in the stars. Maybe you’re living with a question at the moment, or perhaps you’ve received unexpected guidance to make a change in your life but you’re unsure whether it’s your head or your heart talking.

Card of the day from The Healing Waters Oracle

The Water Oracle delivers a message to trust your intuition and the messages and visions you’ve been receiving. It’s a card of confirmation and encouragement to act on your visions and embody your intuition. It can also be a sign that your psychic and intuitive abilities are growing stronger. That you have the gift of clear vision and are being encouraged to work on this craft more deeply.

HEALING WATERS AFFIRMATION

I trust my intuition and act on it with confidence.

Do you believe in destiny?

{"@context":"http:\/\/schema.org\/","@id":"https:\/\/rebeccacampbell.me\/do-you-believe-in-destiny\/#arve-youtube-tg2yi9m5psu6421a960d15d1433160918","type":"VideoObject","embedURL":"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/TG2Y..."}

I believe in both destiny and free will. I believe our soul came in with a plan, and there may be a golden thread woven through our life where there are soul agreements that we’ve made to do certain things. Agreements where we came to express specific gifts or share certain messages. We may also be here to play a part in other people’s journeys. And this happens through our relationships with others.

However, I don’t think everything is completely destined, and this is where free will comes in. There are moments plotted along the thread of our lives where we have opportunities to meet them and follow through. These moments become choices we get to make. And even then, there are many different ways to express and follow through on those opportunities along our life thread.

For example, I always felt like I had a message to share, even when I was really young, and it would stress me out trying to work exactly the right way to do it. When I look back, I think there were so many different ways I could have expressed what I came here to express. There were many ways I could have shared the message I was holding since I was young. No matter which way I chose, I had to follow through. My message being shared required determination and taking grounded action every single day.

Even the most magnificent creatives, artists, writers, and inventors that you can think of had to show up day after day. Even the ones where it seems like their gifts are so innate and extraordinary – they still keep working on their craft daily. They are still showing up, living into the question and embodying what they are being called to embody. After all, we are souls having a human experience, so grounded action in repetition is just as important as connecting into the call of your soul. It is how you move along the thread of your life to your destiny.

The Golden Thread Meditation is one of over 50 meditations and Soul Journeys that you receive instant access to when you join The Sanctuary.

Tips for Creating Sacred Spaces

{"@context":"http:\/\/schema.org\/","@id":"https:\/\/rebeccacampbell.me\/tips-for-creating-sacred-spaces\/#arve-youtube-34frllmgra064187dc36b599615591354","type":"VideoObject","embedURL":"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/34Fr..."}

Creating a sacred space is a simple yet powerful act. It is a place devoted to the part of you that whispers, calls and yearns. A space that acts as an invitation to the Universe to support you. Sacred spaces are places where we can embody the sacred. It’s where we bring the sacred into the physical.

MY TOP 3 TIPS FOR CREATING SACRED SPACES

1. Beauty

Beauty is the gateway to the soul. Anything that makes your heart open or puts you in a state of awe, whether it’s a rose or something else that opens you up, is great for your sacred space. Beauty often does this and is always a gateway to the soul.

2. Tending to it

The more time you spend with your sacred space, the more fueled with sacred energy it will become. When you imagine your altar or another sacred space you’ve got, what you’re really doing is using this physical space to direct your sacred energy. It is a way to direct your connection with your soul or the sacred.

3. Using what you’ve got around you

Don’t overthink that it has to have certain statues or that you have to go out to buy something for it. You can create beautiful sacred spaces with things around you. You can use petals, fallen leaves from your garden, or even herbs that have gone out of date and put them into a beautiful circle with a candle in the middle. It doesn’t have to be overcomplicated. You can use the elements too along with the objects and things you have around you.

Your sacred space can take up an entire room, be on a shelf, window sill, table, bedside table or anywhere that you can gather a couple of small objects. It could even be in your garden, or inside a drawer. There is no right or wrong way to create this space. What is most important is the devotion you bring to it as you create it and tend to it.

Tune into your deepest desires, heart’s prayers, and authentic calls of the soul – then get your mind and body to work manifesting them. Start Visioning with my Yearly Visioning Process.
