Bounteous

Generously given. Relationships. Coming together.

When water is present, Life is present. It’s a gift offered to us and through us. Generously offered. Bountifully given. We’re beginning to wake up to this precious substance we have in our lives. And never take it for granted. Clean, running water is a privilege that many in the West fail to appreciate, and it’s one that many around the world go without.

This card encourages you to appreciate the gifts, bounty, opportunities, and privileges that are in your life. To embrace what you need, but also be generous to others who might not have what you have. To acknowledge and receive the abundance around you, but also share it. To appreciate the simple things in your life, like running water.

Don’t hoard what you don’t need. Share the plenty that surrounds you and watch as it swells and grows. Move from competition to collaboration. Rewrite the script of me against you. Welcome the wellspring that eternally bubbles up from deep within. Share what you love freely. So often, Life is that much more enjoyable when it’s shared with others.

Water is Life. Wherever there’s water, there’s Life. It’s the ultimate blessing. It’s the thing that sustains us the most. Life isn’t possible without it. And yet most of us take water for granted.

In our busy modern world, it’s easy to become disconnected from the truly sacred things that are supporting and sustaining us. To take the simple things and the people closest to us for granted, assuming that they’ll always be there. Sometimes it takes the threat of going without something for us to realize it’s even there. To truly appreciate what we believe we could not go without.

This card is an invitation to reflect on and appreciate those things that support and sustain us the most. From water to loved ones. What are you most grateful for? Who are you most appreciative of? How are you being called to offer thanks? How can you honor the things that hold you the most?

What is a Starseed? 

I believe that a Starseed is someone who knows that they are a multidimensional being and that there is more to life than we see here on Earth.

This profound realization often comes with a strong sense of purpose, a mission that transcends the mundane aspects of our daily lives.

Have you ever felt a deep connection to the cosmos, a feeling that there’s more to your existence than what meets the eye? If so, you might resonate with the concept of a Starseed.

But how does one truly define a Starseed? And what does it mean to be a multidimensional being? Let’s delve deeper.

Defining a Starseed

At its core, a Starseed is an individual who feels a deep cosmic connection, a bond that goes beyond the Earthly plane. They often feel drawn to the stars, other planets, and the vastness of the Universe.

This isn’t just a fleeting feeling or a mere fascination. It’s a profound knowing, a deep-seated understanding that their soul has experienced many lifetimes elsewhere in other dimensions or star systems.

Why is the term “Starseed” used? The term encapsulates the idea that there’s a ‘seed,’ or essence, within these individuals that hails from the stars. This seed carries memories, wisdom, and a unique purpose that often drives Starseeds to seek knowledge, spiritual growth, and a deeper understanding of their place in the Universe.

The Multidimensional Being

A multidimensional being is someone who knows that they are made up of more than just mind and body. Some people come in with this knowing, the seed of remembering within them already active. Others awaken to it. For others, life events or spiritual practices might awaken this understanding.

How does one realize they’re a multidimensional being? It often starts with feelings of déjà vu, dreams of other worlds, or a deep resonance with ancient wisdom. Over time, these feelings and experiences can lead to a broader understanding of one’s multidimensional nature.

It’s the awakening of Starseed’s purpose, their cosmic mission. It’s the realization that their life on Earth is but a brief moment in their soul’s vast journey. They recognize that they’re an ever-changing, eternal being, part of a great cosmic dance.

A Starseed knows their place in the Universe and sees this life as but a moment in their soul’s journey.

This dance connects them to everything – from the plants and stones on Earth to the distant stars and galaxies of the night sky.

They understand that they’re connected to the plants and the stones, just as they’re connected to the Sun, the stars, the planets, and the Moon. This highly intuitive interconnectedness is a core tenet of a Starseed.

Awakening Experiences from a Young Age

Every Starseed has a story, a tale of spiritual awakening that defines their journey. Many who resonate with being a Starseed have had significant awakening experiences from a young age. These moments, often profound and life-changing, set them on a path of discovery and spiritual growth. I share more about this in my book Letters to a Starseed.

What triggers these awakening experiences? It could be a dream, a chance encounter, or even a near-death experience. For some, it’s a deep inner knowing that there’s more to their existence than the physical world.

Upon their starseed awakening, most Starseeds find it extremely hard to have meaningless conversations, jobs, and relationships. They know that they’re here for a reason, and they can find how slow people and systems are to change, frustrating.

The Starseed MissionSoul perspective and a Double Mission: Personal Growth and Assisting Humanity

Because some Starseeds feel so ‘different’, they often spend part of their lives trying to fit in, or being in some form of spiritual or other ‘closet.’ However, trying to fit ourselves into a box goes against who we are from a soul perspective. 

Over time the more we do this, the more isolated, unseen, and alone we’ll feel. As we embrace our uniqueness and show the world who we are, the easier it is for our people to find us and for us to create a life that’s in alignment with who we are from a soul perspective. The more we hide ourselves, the more alone and not at home we’ll feel.

I believe that the reason we incarnate on Earth is for our souls to experience being in a human body, and to receive the lessons and soul growth that come with that experience as human beings.

But what sets Starseeds apart? It’s their commitment to not only their personal growth but also to the evolution of humanity. They are here to uplift, inspire, and catalyze change on a global scale.

Some souls are here to grow personally, some are here to assist the growth of humanity, and some souls are here for both of these reasons—this is what I call having a double mission.

Why do Starseeds believe in this double mission? It’s because they see the bigger picture. They understand that individual growth can spark collective evolution. They are passionate about their role in the Universe’s grand dance.

Starseeds are not just any souls; they are ancient souls with vast cosmic experiences. They have chosen to incarnate now, at this pivotal moment in history, to influence the outcome of the times in which are now what we’re living.

I believe that Starseeds are souls who have this double mission. They have actively chosen to be here now, at this pivotal moment in history, to influence the outcome of the time in which we’re living.

What makes this moment so pivotal? We are at a crossroads, both spiritually and environmentally. The choices we make now will shape the future of our planet and its inhabitants. Starseeds, with their cosmic wisdom and deep-seated purpose, are here to guide, heal, and serve humanity to transform.

As we journey further into the world of Starseeds, we’ll explore the different types and signs that define them, helping us understand the vast spectrum of unique abilities, spiritual gifts, experiences, and wisdom they bring to our world.

Empathic Starseeds are known for their profound sensitivity. Their heightened ability to feel makes them incredibly attuned to the energies around them. However, this sensitivity can also be their Achilles’ heel. Due to their nature, they often struggle with being on Earth, leading some towards addiction and depression.

 

Andromedan Starseed

Originating from the Andromeda galaxy, these Starseeds cherish their freedom. Adaptable and resilient, they possess a strong willingness and ability to change, always finding calm amidst chaos and effortlessly going with the flow, much like the cosmic dance of Andromeda itself.

 

Orion Starseed

Orion Starseeds have experienced both great polarity and unity. The constellation Orion, known for its bright stars, is believed to be the origin of many Starseeds on Earth. They bring a divine light and with them lessons of soul growth, often navigating the complexities of karmic relationships.

 

General Starseed

Starseeds are old souls with a dual mission: elevating their own consciousness and uplifting the planet’s consciousness. Their experiences span across realms, dimensions, and star systems, making them wise beyond their Earthly years. Their profound journey and purpose can be further explored here.

Recognizing a Starseed goes beyond understanding their type. Identifying a Starseed isn’t about external characteristics but rather about inner experiences, feelings, and memories.

Many Starseeds confess to feeling extremely different – as if they don’t fit into the world. They may also have a remembering of some other place without quite knowing what or where that place really is. They long for a place or people to support them in feeling more ‘at home.’

How can one recognize a Starseed? Often, it’s a deep-seated feeling of not belonging, of having memories of other places, and a longing for a home that isn’t Earth. These feelings, combined with a profound sense of life purpose and a strong connection to the cosmos, are telltale signs.

As we continue our exploration, we’ll delve into the fascinating comparison between Starseeds and Lightworkers, understanding the nuances and similarities between these two groups of soulful spiritual beings.

What is a Lightworker? A Lightworker is someone who makes a conscious decision to answer the call of the Source over the call of fear. They are awake and decide to live in alignment with their soul, understanding that their actions, no matter how big or small, have the potential to create change. They are here to light up the world with their presence, as beautifully described here.

On the other hand, most Starseeds, as we’ve explored, are souls with a double mission: personal growth and assisting humanity. They often feel a deeper connection to other realms and dimensions.

So, how do they differ? While both are here to uplift and inspire, Lightworkers tend to focus on aligning with their soul and lighting up the world, whereas Starseeds often grapple with feelings of not belonging, carrying memories of other realms.

Practical Guidance for StarseedsEmbodying the Soul

For Starseeds, the journey on Earth can sometimes feel overwhelming. It’s not just about understanding their cosmic connection but also about fully embodying their soul in their daily lives.

In my work, I am always looking to give people an embodied experience of their soul. To help them call all parts of their soul to be more fully here, to be home here.

Why is embodying the soul so crucial? Because it’s about integrating our spiritual experiences. It’s about grounding ourselves in our human experience while also honoring our cosmic origins.

I think it is really important right now to integrate our spiritual experiences. To fully embody our souls. So if someone has a tendency to want to transcend the human experience, then the invitation is to work on embodiment and calling all parts of themselves to be more fully here.

Deep Sea Diving

Way of the mystic. Learn through experiencing. Depths.

The mystic wants to have a direct experience with the sacred. The sacred is everywhere and within everything, so every moment is an invitation to deepen the connection within. The mystic learns through merging with Life. Through experiencing things firsthand. Through learning about what’s known and then diving deep into what’s unknown for the chance of a direct, intimate experience.

Mystics are the sacred explorers of this world, both inner and outer. Open-hearted and minded, they’re willing to journey into the uncharted waters in order to truly live. If you receive this card, it’s likely that you’re being called to learn through direct experience. To dive in and explore things for yourself. Like the Sumerian Goddess Inanna journeying to the underworld to return completely transformed, the way of the mystic is not for the faint‑hearted. But it’s a way to truly live.

Most learn through reading books and following processes. The way of the mystic is much deeper, more experiential, and feminine. It requires faith and courage. It demands that you disregard external maps and be led from within. And while every step of the journey may not be clearly marked, the way ahead always emerges, and the transformation cannot be replicated.

Beneath the Surface

What’s really driving you? True motives. Breaking free.

Often, the things that we think we want are not what we really want, deep down. Sometimes we go after them because the world has told us we should do certain things or be a certain way, and we don’t realize there’s a choice.

Sometimes we’re driven by the need to keep up, be approved of, or fit in. Sometimes we do things just because we’ve always done them, and we can’t even see out of the box that’s containing us. Sometimes, what we’re chasing is really chasing us.

What is it that you truly want? And why do you want what you truly want? Be honest about it – what are you chasing that’s holding you captive? Are you being called to break free of the box that’s containing you? What’s beneath the surface of what you currently see? What are your true motives, deep down? Are you expending energy on things that aren’t true inner yearnings? What’s really driving your behavior and your desires?

Atlantis

Keep the big vision. Stay in alignment as you grow.

In his writings, the ancient Greek philosopher Plato described a great civilization called Atlantis, whose island home in the Atlantic Ocean was a marvel of architecture. Its capital city was made up of a series of concentric circles separated by moats of water and at its center was a temple dedicated to Poseidon, the God of the sea.

The Atlanteans were a highly advanced people who were very much tapped into and connected with the energy of the Universe. They also harnessed the power of water and air in their technologies and practices. Perhaps this is where their tremendous psychic and magical abilities for manifesting their great visions into the physical came from.

Eventually, Atlantis’s growth got out of hand and its people became greedy and disrespectful. A series of earthquakes caused the island to sink to the bottom of the ocean, and for millennia people have been captivated by the legend of this lost civilization.

Music has always been a gateway to the soul for me. I first became aware of it in the early ’90s, riding the bus to school and secretly loving it when I didn’t know anyone on the bus as it meant I could listen to my yellow Walkman (which at the time was filled with Abba from Muriel’s Wedding playlist, Carol King, James Taylor, Peter Allen and the Pricilla Queen of the Desert Playlist). I’d press play and watch the world go by while being flooded with inspiration of all the things I wanted to create, which at the time involved a lot of dancing and lip sync!

When I started answering my calling and hosting workshops, I started using music and that’s when I discovered chanting as a devotional practice which I now use every time I teach. But never in my wildest dreams did I think I would record my own music let alone be an artist on Spotify or iTunes!

In 2019 I created the Rise Sister Rise Chant with my friend Amy Firth which I shared in my membership and workshops. After many requests, in 2021 we added it to Spotify and iTunes and it’s had over 200,000 plays since! That blows my mind. Some people have even made an artist donation on my Spotify page saying the music and my curated playlists have been a companion for them during difficult times.

I’m excited to say that I have a new song that has just been released called Healing Is Happening! This one uses special sound technology that transmits a healing frequency. It is more spoken word to music which you can meditate to or just leave it playing for the activation. I hope you like it!

King Tide

Plenty. Prosperity. Receiving the fullness of Life.

An especially high tide that occurs several times a year when the moon is either new or full and is closest to the Earth in its monthly orbit, the king tide swells the waters of the world. The king tide is a time of plenty and abundance. It’s a time when everything seems to be at its fullest and most alive.

This card delivers a message of receiving all that you’ve created. Of opening yourself up to truly enjoy the bounty of where you are while it’s here. Like in summer when the days are at their longest and our energy seems to be at its fullest, we’re encouraged to embrace all of Life with open arms. To receive wholly and fully while we can.

Perhaps you’ve been working toward this moment for a very long time. This is your reminder to enjoy it while it’s here. To welcome all that knocks on your door. To experience all that Life has to offer you right now.

Mother Of The Salt Waters

Passion. Wild love. Open your heart. Let love in.

The ocean’s unknowable, untamable, vast beauty has beguiled humans since time began, and numerous deities are associated with her salt waters – from the Greek Goddess Amphitrite, wife of the sea God Poseidon, to Yemaya, West Africa’s queen of the sea; and from Doris, the Greek Goddess of fertility and the abundance of the ocean, to Aphrodite, the Greek Goddess of love and beauty, who was born out of sea foam. The ocean is a symbol of the feminine mysteries, love, beauty, and great passion.

This card delivers with it a message of love as deep as the ocean, and passion as intense as the deepest blue sea. It’s an invitation to welcome the feminine qualities within you and to really let yourself dream. It’s an invitation to see the beauty all around you and to let love in. It could indicate that great love is on the horizon or that a new passion is drawing near.

The Mother of the Salt Waters could be a sign that new love or new relationships are about to enter your life. Or if they’re already here, perhaps you’re being called to open your heart and be even more embracing and loving.
