May 31, 2017

Wednesday, 31st of May -- the last day of the 2017 May -- big sigh -- what a great month, so much happened, most of it excellent, some of it worrisome and a pain in the patoot, but that's just life, isn't it?
Thanks for all your comments on your memories, your situation -- never, never forget (I try to remind myself of this very often) -- try to live in the present, to enjoy the present, to acknowledge all those around you as being very important to you, in some cases, indispensable. Don't forget, people need to be reminded that you really care for them, okay?
It's bat wings -- no, I'm not going to let this go. Bag Wings do not belong on a human being's arms. They belong on something entirely different, in a cave. So, no free weights, then roll your arms, full circles back, full circles forward, arms out straight from your body. Three sets of twelve -- another reminder (because I'm a pain in the patoot) no larger than an 8 inch plate for your meals, one serving, that's it.

MY 30, 2017

Tuesday, 30th of May -- So many of you celebrated the veterans and those who gave their lives for our country -- I've always found it as moving as standing on the deck of the U.S.S. Arizona at Pearl Harbor.
Today, celebrate your own life -- If it's not your birthday, it doesn't matter. Think first about your childhood, the first and foremost memory you have -- was it fun? Embarrassing? Scary? Then move on and think about the first time you met your other half -- now that's a memory that's gotta be deep inside your brain stem, full blown, in color, ringing bells and maybe flashing neon lights -- and after you think about that magical first time, go search him/her out and plant a great big one right on the mouth -- Tell this person who is in the very center of you life how much you love him/her. And yeah, here it is -- celebrate, the two of you, on side-by-side bikes or take a nice long walk together and hold hands, talk about the past -- It's all good --

May 26, 2017

Friday, 26th of May -- Oh dear, I gave the wrong impression. the Outer Banks isn't until the 17th of June -- this is the present buying/wrapping/mailing to the rental folk in the Outer Banks to hold for me stage -- but thank you for the early well wishes, I won't forget.
Don't you just love the Brit word kerfuffle? Just try saying it. I'll never forget in Vancouver one time there was a headline in the paper there about Prince Harry being in a kerfuffle -- yep, a sort of bar fight for the prince. Use it, see what the reaction is -- and tell me.
Last day of the beautiful week, last Friday in May, and it's your final big push before the weekend and fun and play and cleaning the fridge and washing the car. Push what, you ask? Yourself, naturally, and if you need the Exercise Minions to shove from behind, just holler. Hard cardio today -- again, the key is moving, legs, arms, twisting, squatting -- really celebrate your bod today, give it all sorts of kudos and show it your appreciation -- that's right, work it as hard as you can. DO NOT forget bat wings. DO NOT forget an 8" plate for all your meals, no larger. Fine, fine Friday -

May 25, 2017

Thursday, 25th May -- Can you believe it, May is nearly history and isn't that amazingly scary?
Call me an idiot -- I decided to get every family member coming to the Outer Banks (40 people) each a gift and wrap it -- swim suits, cold shoulder tops for the women -- all sorts of cool stuff for the kids plus birthday presents for 12 celebrations. All done, now it's on to wrapping all the goodies. If I ever mention doing this again, please just shoot me in the head and get it over with.
Bat Wings: BELIEVE ME -- you stick to a 5-minute regimen every day and you will see results -- but it's critical that if you're heavy, you cut back, lose weight, and exercise -- all together.
Thank you for all your thoughts about Manchester.
Remember, newsletters in your mailboxes today or email me and I'll send you one.

May 24, 2017

Wednesday, May 24th -- First thing you do today is say a prayer for the people in Manchester. The next thing to do is think about how you, as a head of each and every western country and the U.S., should respond to this. I would really like to hear your thoughts, opinions, ideas.
Look for the May newsletter today -- if you don't get it in a couple of days, email me at ReadMoi@gmail.com and I'll send you a copy. I hope it makes you chuckle.
Do not give up on bat wings. I swear to you, if you give them attention each and every single day, you'll see a HUGE change in two weeks. If you don't have free weights, then arm rolls or isometrics, always slow, work that hidden muscle -- if you need to lose weight, realize diet/exercise go hand-in-hand -- get those muscles in shape so when the fat comes off, there's firm muscles there. Think of wearing a hula skirt and telling a story with your arms and hands --

May 23, 2017

Tuesday, May 23rd -- Okay, let me toot the horn: The Warriors are the first team in NBA history to sweep all three teams in the play-offs. Now, they rest until the first of June to play either the Cavaliers or the Celtics for the championship.
I'm doing the May newsletter today -- sorry it's late but I was getting rained on in England and walking a lot and visiting with the cutest baby in the universe. Be on the look out for it, okay? (Not the baby, the newsletter)
DO NOT FORGET: Bombshell is sitting at $1.99 everywhere for the ebook, but only until Sunday, then it's all over. Do not lose out, you'll only make yourself feel guilty and sad.
Is everyone getting in shape for the beach? To strut your stuff on a boardwalk? To gather the wolf-whistles as you stroll down the beach, a snow cone in your hand? If not, time to buckle down. No more dinner plates (dessert plates, no larger than 8 inches) Fill it up, and THAT'S IT, no more. Regimen of cardio every single day and abs and bat wings. Everyone on board? Guys, you don't have to shave your legs, only your faces. Gals, you don't have to shave your faces, only your legs -- This is some trade off --

May 5, 2017

May 5th -- Big Gorgeous Friday -- and all through the house there was much dancing and singing and smashing avocados for guacamole, hand-frying tortilla chips -- WHY? Because it's Cinco de Mayo, and that means salsa -- not just chowing down but getting out there, taking off your shoes and strutting your stuff. Do you make your own salsa or buy Pace? What a great time you're going to have this evening. It's up to you to make yourself worthy of a fun celebration night, so nose to the grindstone, get accomplished everything you need to accomplish, and that includes a stop at the gym, or wherever, and getting your beautiful bod ready to get out there and dance.
What's your favorite Mexican food? Do you like margaritas? Do you have lots of crazy friends ready to party?

May 4, 2017

May 4th, Thursday -- I'm liking your titles -- keep them coming. Snappy, single words, on the unusual side, like Nemesis, Enigma -- Paradox and Animus -- they're both unusual and pop -- If you gave me one of those two titles, please email me at Readmoi@gmail.com -- and give me your home address, and tell me which book you'd like --
Today is Thursday yet again and I finally finished the gallies for the paperback THE DEVIL'S TRIANGLE -- It's an exciting book -- sometimes when I go through gallies I just don't know if the book is good or if it's crap. Lovely to know in my gut this one is a winner.
Now take a moment -- right now -- and think, okay, what am I going to do today for my body? Yeah, I know I'm going to move -- like walking, hiking, riding a bike -- and then what? Okay, I'm looking myself over and I think my upper body needs work, especially my arms, so I'll focus on tris and bis -- don't forget, slowly, up and down -- feel it both ways --

May 3, 2017

Wednesday, 3rd of May -- Lots of you have given me titles -- HELLBENT -- that's interesting. Can you think of any single words, like Nemesis, Enigma, Insidious -- words with a huge POP -- Lay 'em on me. Basic line: bad guy from the past out for revenge on S&S, bones and body bags found dragging Lake Massey -- did you know lakes are good body dump sites because the bones dissolve within about two weeks? So there's simply nothing left -- and isn't that scary?
People you can't stand -- most of you sound like such mature adults, it depresses me. I mean, I was sort of hoping for something like "I got right in his/her face and gave them what-for and then this happened, and they did that and here's what I'm going to do now --
Today, since it's way toooo warm for all us reptiles, I'm going to have fans on me while I bike and believe me, no sweat allowed. Do everything more slowly, arms, legs, stretching -- but the key is movement -- walk in the shade in the mornings, your critters will love it. Do all your cat owners take your cats on walkabouts outdoors?

May 2, 2017

Tuesday, May 2nd -- It's going to be 78 degrees here in Sausalito today. That is warm, actually, it's too warm for the likes of me. Yes, I'm a reptile, keep me iced down.
Do you have a person in your life you can't stand? And you have to see this person often, too often? If so, what do you do? Do you speak to this person? How do you interact? Why don't you like them? What happened?
Working on the 22nd FBI -- still no title, but thinking HellHound -- but that sounds like Sherlock Holmes. How about some titles, people? Please?
Today you're going to wash your car -- before you get yourself to the gym or to the walking trail or to the bike -- If it's hot, don't go nuts, keep a nice steady pace and be sure to take nice long deep breaths. Don't forget -- when you walk, get those shoulder blades trying to get together -- it'll straighten you right up.
