Thursday, April 6th -- Facebook appears to be working, including being able to "like" and "comment" -- digits crossed that whatever demons were causing mayhem have gotten bored with me and moved on -- but not to you, please. Thanks for the advice on Chrome, which I use.
The Devil's Triangle: It's on its third week of the bestseller lists, so maybe some "legs" are growing -- right now, I'd say with three weeks we have some healthy "stumps." This means if you haven't read TDT and you have a friend, an enemy, a co-worker, any sentient relatives who haven't read the book, then get it done. And keep me posted.
I've started the 22nd FBI -- no title yet, but feels like it's going to be fun -- so cross all available body parts that it'll keep spinning out into a fine tale.
Insidious, paperback, has legs -- it's on its 5th week on the bestseller lists -- THANK YOU. I really like that book --
Oh yes, if you have something nice to say about THE DEVIL'S TRIANGLE, please email it to me at ReadMoi@gmail.com.
Today is an awesome Thursday -- so much to do, so much to feel and see. Look at all the people in your life today, I mean, really look, and then give them a hug and a kiss (has to be an other half to French, okay?) And don't forget, pay attention to what they have to say, focus, make them know how important they are to you.
Guys, it's big CARDIO day so do not shirk your responsibility to your bod -- admire yourself in the mirror, compliment yourself, and tell your image that you're going to make it even better with some very neat and hard CARDIO - don't forget to stretch and do abs --

Tuesday, 4th of April -- Yes, yes, it's already April and in less than two weeks you'll be doing your dance with the IRS -- hopefully you're already all done and got a nice fat check. (Isn't that the coolest thing? Like manna from Heaven).
How many of you are unhappy in your jobs? How many of you are enduring for 40 hours a week? Well, if you are, then please realize life is very short, you never know when the big Mac truck is going to get you, and do you want to waste any of your precious minutes on this earth doing something you pray for the time to pass quickly so you can GET OUT OF THERE? If your answer is yes, it's time for some serious thinking on your part. By yourself to begin with: write down all the pros of your job, then in another column, write down all the cons. Then take a real good look at them. I'm thinking the cons will by far outweigh the pros, so what's next? You list out what you would most like to do with your working years -- it doesn't matter how far out, get them all down, then study them -- Do you need more specialized training? More education? We'll talk more about what's next, but I'll bet you know exactly what to do.
Today, you virtuous minion-loving readers, you're going to sweat out all the negative crap that's floating around in your brain and body. You got 8 hours sleep (that's mandatory, no arguments) then stretching, every single day. Today work on those bat wings, and then, of course, your half hour of CARDIO. No, do not whine, do not make excuses "I don't have time!" -- You make time, think this thru, you can do it. This is as important as sleeping and eating, all right? Go for it --

March 29th, Wednesday -- I'M BACK! Finally. Today, I find out the 2nd week ranking for The Devil's Triangle for the first of the bestseller lists. Keep your digits crossed. You say, bestselling WHAT? If you asked that question, expect the discipline minions to pay you a visit. Seriously now, if you haven't yet read The Devil's Triangle, GET TO IT! And let me know what you think (well, only if you think it's good to stupendous). TDT is my favorite so far of A BRIT in the FBI series -- see if you agree with me.
Another DO NOT FORGET: Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. in Sacramento at THE HIVE, 2100 Q Street at the Sacramento Bee newspaper -- it's a big monthly book club deal -- everyone's invited, so if you're within 150 miles, COME and meet me.

The day after I've sent off a novel, I sort of wander around, brain unplugged, trying to figure out WHAT DO I DO NOW? No, no, I'm not a workaholic, it's just that I've been totally immersed in that bloody book for so long, it feels like it's been stolen, all of a sudden, just gone. I tried to sleep in an extra hour this morning, made it thirty minutes then 18-pound Eli jumped on my chest, demanding breakfast -- Yeah, I made him waffles --
Janice is the first reader to tell me her favorite character in The Devil's Triangle -- Kitsune -- So that means for the rest of you guys, don't forget to let me know.
Goodreads members! Don't forget to post a question for me and/or JT Ellison TODAY! We'll be answering questions live today at 1pm (California time).

Half of you are snowed in, roads closed, no mail, no delivery of The Devil's Triangle. The other half are snuggled in reading. I'M VERY SORRY FOR THE FIRST HALF AND DELIGHTED FOR THE SECOND HALF.
Don't forget, if you have any questions about The Devil's Triangle, write them to me here on Goodreads, OR, tomorrow, Thursday, 16th, at 1:00 p.m. California time, come back to GOODREADS and be live with me and J.T. Ellison. Lots of fun -- do it either way but do check in.
Those of you with the sandwich boards, I hope you were successful, what, maybe 50 people you glommed on to, and steered them right into the bookstore? If so, thank you, and consider a second round.
Enjoy The Devil's Triangle and be sure to let me know what you think. If by any bizarre unfortunate chance you don't like the book, I ask you not to feel compelled to tell me. Why take a chance of ruining my mood or my day.
Have fun with THE DEVIL'S TRIANGLE.

March 14, Tuesday -- all right, you guys, this is the BIGGEST day of the month for me -- The Devil's Triangle is out TODAY, so if you didn't pre-order, you need to order today or drop into your local bookstore -- but that's not all. You have the great good fortune to be selected (by me) to wear a billboard, the TDT cover on both the front and back, and stand on the corner, and announce to all who pass in a lovely loud and clear voice what a great spot of fun they will have with this wild and woolly book. That can be your exercise for today -- of course that means you do a lot of walking, pacing back and forth, maybe occasionally running after people to get their attention -- Go for it. and let me know how successful you were.
No post yesterday. I wrote it but Facebook wouldn't publish it. I have no clue why -- believe me, though, it was really cute and funny -- stop shaking your head!
I'm posting the a cool visual today of the cover of TDT -- so tune back in. Also, don't forget, pick your favorite character from TDT and write in NO MORE THAN 25 words, why you like this character so very much. The top two winners will get a 2017 cat calendar -- Cleo, Peyton and Eli --
Go forth with your billboard --

Friday, March 10th -- Ah, Grasshopper, the last day of another week and you're alive and well, you had a grand week at work and with all the folk you deal with and now you're feeling all hyped for the upcoming weekend. Really hit Friday running -- get out there and greet the world with a huge smile and enthusiasm and, of course, a joke, like, "What did the buffalo say to his kid dropping him off at school?" (bye son). Okay, do not throw that rotten rutabaga at me. Nor should you use the rutabaga in any dish you ever make in your entire life. Rutabaga (I mean, just say the name -- eew!) this is nasty stuff -- yes, yes, noww I can't wait to hear from a bunch of you that it's better than kale and turnips and Brussels sprouts (yes, that's a joke, all of the above should be shipped off to Mars to hunt for something to eat them. and Good Luck to that assignment.) That's an Alexa joke, so you can blame her.

March 9th -- Thursday -- yes, I know, it's already Thursday which signals the end of yet another week. I just realized -- The Devil's Triangle is out next Tuesday, the 14th! I can't believe the wait is nearly over. It's always exciting the week before a book comes out. So much going on, so many ads, so many interviews (mainly phone) with various magazines, online and paper, radio, you get the drift, and they're always lots of fun. And the reviews -- I've already gotten some, and they're very positive. I love starred reviews! Need some more, need some more.
Do me a huge favor: Today, get only one person to pre-order the Devil's Triangle. Can you do it without having to pay out moolah or sexual favors? Let me know if you complete your assignment.
Nearly done, YEA, nearly done, probably finish up Enigma this weekend, if all the gods and minions shine their smiles upon me.

Friday, 3rd of March -- Confusion, sorry, yesterday when I talked about St. Patrick's Day, I was talking about the MONTH of March, not St. Patrick's on the 2nd. I just reread the post, and I can see where you'd think I was off my rocker. Nope, on the 17th, the gym is always exactly as I described in yesterday's post.
What do you think of the visual for THE DEVIL'S TRIANGLE? Nicholas's hand holding a Glock and his FBI creds -- did it shiver your timbers? Make your ticker speed up for a moment? Make you hyperventilate in excitement? (Okay, not that far, but I personally, think the visual is great.)
INSIDIOUS continues to hit high on the bestseller lists so THANK YOU -- don't forget, do let me know if I get you on the two mysteries --

Thursday, March 2nd -- I forgot St. Patrick's Day! -- and I'm part Irish -- smack me aside the head. Sorry about that -- St. Pat's is a grand day, particularly at the gym -- green floods the place, drapes all over the equipment, and there are high fives and shouts. Yep, lots of Irish, that or people who simply want their mug of green beer.
I forgot to remind you guys: THE FINAL CUT, the first thriller in the BRIT in the FBI series, is available RIGHT NOW for $1.99 in ebook, everywhere -- a very good deal. It stop very soon, can't remember the exact date, sorry.
INSIDIOUS paperback is doing very well -- #3 -- is the big list (Bookscan) -- When you've read it, do let me know if I got you on both mysteries, all right? (I will, but it's still nice to hear you guys admit it.)

Halloween's coming up fast, the day the zombies burst out of the ground and terrify the crap out of us, not to mention eat our candy and eat our brains.
Update on BOMBSHELL, the 17th FBI Thriller: I'm nearly finished with the edit. The cover is very cool, explodes with eye-popping color. BOMBSHELL is set in Maestro, Va., (the setting of the 10th FBI thriller, POINT BLANK) and in Washington.
JEWEL OF THE LION (first thriller in A Brit in the FBI series partnered with J.T. Ellison). JEWEL moves fast and you don't know what's going to happen on the next page, and you're biting your toenails or a zombie's toenails. J.T. is an excellent plotter and that means when we brainstorm no plot gets left behind.
Alas, no kids want candy enough to crawl up our oxygen-deprived steep driveway, and the sad thing is, I still have a big bowl of candy, every year, but no one comes, not even the zombies with brain bags.
Take care, Catherine
