Wednesday, 30th of August and all is well in $2.99 ebook-land for The Devil's Triangle. This price is good everywhere, okay? What do you think of the teaser for ENIGMA at the end of the ebook?
So many weather disasters happening and yet all we outside the devastation can do is send money and prayers and that's about it. But please, all of you, stay strong, stay positive and remember, what's important is you and your family and pets, not things. I know, I know, that's so easy to say stuff like that, but you're living it. I wish you could feel all the prayers right next to you. Maybe you can.
That character I told you about in PARADOX -- her name is Tennessee -- she turned out perfectly. Not what you would expect and that's always fun.
If you're in a temperate climate, that is, it isn't one hundred degrees, it isn't flooding all over you, it isn't burning everything around you, then you will think about how very lucky you are as you run, walk, jog, bike -- as you MOVE all your body parts today. And don't forget to add some prayers. Can't hurt.

Tuesday, 29th of August: You've told me my great surprise, namely, THE DEVIL'S TRIANGLE priced in ebook at $2.99 (YEA!) is still at its regular price. This makes me want to yell and punch something. Believe me, I have hollered to the powers that be at my publisher. Hopefully the price will come down to

Okay, guys, it's prayers and good thoughts to lots of places -- I'm told there are bad fires in Southern Oregon. If you're in a place where Nature is scaring you to death, please, hang in and know there are lots of people pulling for you.
I'm told it's 110 degrees in lots of places as well. STAY in the a/c -- do not go out and if you have to, Drink like a Camel.

Friday, 25th of August -- Last day of a stupendous week and the frosting was the incredible eclipse. Many of you wrote "enigma" in a sentence and thus will have a date coming over the horizon. I have to say, you guys are clever. The High Cholesterol Factory was great yesterday -- but you know what? All of us, no matter what we plan, say, think, ALWAYS order the same thing. Why is that so? a) no imagination or b) fear of the unknown or c) don't fit it if it ain't broken or d) you know exactly what to expect and thus can't be disappointed.
All of you are virtuous, I can feel it floating in the air coming toward me.
Usually my dreams are chaotic and crazy-wild, no rhyme nor reason and I can't begin to figure them out, but this one rolled out like a movie. I was rowing to Hawaii and stopped off in New York. It was 1925 and I was aware it was 1925 and went into this building in downtown New York, was met by a sort of butler and taken on an elevator to the top and 10th floor that was a huge one room that was a house/showcase/store -- and there was this famous woman, might have been Coco Chanel, I'm not sure. She left because I wanted to take a nap. Then Jimmy Carter roamed through and there were other people I knew as well, just can't remember them. But the point of the dream was I KNEW it was 1925 and I was struck by how much the same everything was to now. Since this place was a store, I picked up some stuffed animals that talked or sang, I tried on earrings that were French hook and could be in any store now. The furnishings were much the same as now. I don't remember the clothes, what I was wearing or what the woman boss was wearing. When I left, following the butler guy, we didn't take the elevator back down, no, we walked right out onto the street. And I knew the movie was over and Alexa sang out the alarm and I woke up thinking "I was rowing to Hawaii?"

Thursday 24th of August -- Yesterday, everything got done (and well done, let me add) -- today, work, gotta catch up from writing missed yesterday -- I see my Wednesday post FINALLY got itself itself out to you, thank you, Facebook, for getting around to it.

Today after work is High Cholesterol Factory with friends, about time, haven't been there in an eon or two. And I get to shop for a birthday present for one of my favorite nieces, and that's fun because she's so beautiful and has such a wow figure everything looks great on her.
Did everyone see there's going to be a new Star Trek series on TV? -- Star Trek Discovery, I think the name is. A new Star Trek every generation. I can't wait to see what they've done. Please, please, good writing and great characters and no short skirts for the women. And what's this about the new TV show Young Sheldon?
Go forth and move that bod today, I mean, really cardio hard since it's Thursday and Thursdays really need your attention -- thirty minutes, slow, then medium, then hard and try to keep it up for a minute before slowing down again. Who's joined a gym?

Tuesday, 22nd of August -- No eclipse here but TV followed it from Oregon to Jackson Hole to Indiana and then I stopped watching. I even had the special glasses -- so huge bummer. Now we wait for 2024. And commit no really bad sins so the fog demons don't punish us again.
I dreamed last night that the eclipse didn't leave. It came and it stayed and people were going blind because sooner or later they looked at it. I saw paper bags over people's heads, though in the clear light of morning, I don't know what good paper bags would do to protect eyes. Anyway, I was hunkered down, waiting and waiting -- not writing -- just angsting -- and then, blessedly, I woke up. What does this mean? I fear to even think about it.
Today you're going to STRETCH -- don't get nuts about it, be gentle and give each body part nice movement -- this is important and I forget to stress it, but always stretch but good before you climb on the bike or go running or walking, whatever. You up for some squats and lunges in the driveway today? (after you're all limbered up) Go until your legs are crying, then have a huge glass of iced tea --

Why does so much stuff happen while you're incommunicado, as in Hawaii and not answering your cell? Well, my very beloved publisher who brought me to Simon & Schuster (Gallery Books) is retiring on the 18th and I just saw the article, got the call from her and tears are flowing. I've known her for many years and she is amazing. She will be missed by a lot of people, me leading the pack. I know, I know, you don't know her, but believe me, she's one of the very best in the crazy publishing world.
Most of you did indeed do time for me on cardio whilst I was gone -- but I'm wondering, did you only do the 2 minutes for me and nothing for yourself? Nah, not you guys, you're loaded with virtue and respect and love of your own bod, right?
Work today, getting back into Paradox -- spent three hours yesterday rereading the last 50 pages and goodness, a whole lot of rewriting and editing. Does it never end? I have to say NO. Diving in the deep end today -- that is, original writing and this part's really fun, so keep all toes and fingers crossed, even while you're doing your circles with your arms, SLOWLY, front and back, 3 sets of 12 each.
Two more weeks in August -- isn't that amazing. Pre-season football is upon us and no, I haven't watched any, it's usually so bad.
QUESTION: DO YOU WANT TO HAVE THE FOOTBALL POOL THIS FOOTBALL SEASON?
