Wednesday, 29th of November. Who likes pigeons? I remember when I lived in New York there was always at least one pigeon on my window sill at any one time. They do coo -- it's very pretty. I was told they were dirty and should all be shoveled into land fill, but truth is, I liked them. I found them communicative -- I'd talk to through through the window and they'd coo back and nod their heads -- They looked pretty clean to me. And when there were more than one on the sill, they all crowded together, not one of them blew a fit and tried to shove the rest away. So, who has a pigeon story?
WORK WORK WORK -- I'm beginning to think it will never end.
I've got a gazillion tip sheets to sign (J.T. already did and sent them along to me) for THE DEVIL'S TRIANGLE, though I don't really remember who wants them and why -- that is so sad, I know. Well, the Warriors play the Lakers tonight, so I'll sign my fingers off.
All of you, it's now the Christmas season and that means a Christmas tree is in order. Fake or real? I've had both, but gotta say I really like the fake -- they're so real looking and so very easy to decorate.
Do something Christmasy today, like drink an egg nog, buy some mistletoe or holly or PRESENTS -- don't be slackers on this, decorations make you happy.
CARDIO today, no slackiness here either -- And look at those arms, arm rolls, please, and always, always SHOULDER BLADES BACK -

Tuesday, 28th of November -- rolling, rolling, rolling -- nearly there, big beautiful December, a month of excitement, hope, fun, and huge laughs and, hopefully, NO DRAMA. Everyone done with shopping? Are you shopping online or at stores, or both? On your laptop or your phone for the online stuff?
Amazing how fast things change, isn't it? I can remember very clearly when I set up my very first email account -- I remember the confusion, the complexity of it (well, being a computer idiot didn't help) and finally, the success, only not all that many people had emails back in the dark ages. No online shopping to speak of, all catalogs -- no matter, it's all fun. What's coming next?
Here's what I want: Artificial Intelligence advances, like you could talk to your computer-- and it would be an intelligent partner, speak back -- an AI partner.
Or, imagine, you wear a tiny little headset and earpiece turned on to your iphone, so when you're in a foreign county, you speak in English, the ear-bud simultaneously sends to what you said to your iPhone and the iPhone translates and says it on speaker in the correct language. It's happening now, but it needs to be really really efficient. And, naturally, vice versa. Imagine, immediately fluent in Latvian?
Don't forget, SHOULDER BLADES BACK and up and down stairs, walk, walk, walk, with critters is usually the most fun -

Wednesday, 22nd of November -- all this talk of pies makes me want to move in with you. One of you talked about eating cold pumpkin pie for breakfast. Oh yes, oh, big yes. Also, my family holiday dish -- pasties -- steak, potatoes, celery, onions, pie crust -- with catsup -- is wonderful cold for breakfast with lots of catsup. Oh my. I know, I know, the catsup doesn't sound all that good, but trust me. You know you grow up with something, and there's simply nothing better.
One of you said working out early, the CARDIO, really made a difference in alertness -- more of you, try it, just see if I'm lying or really passing out a wonderful truth --
Work today on THE SIXTH DAY.
Isn't life great?

Tuesday, 21st November -- I think I'm trying to commit bigamy -- I asked all the pie makers out there to marry me. Pumpkin pie? My favorite, especially with the little pastry leaves on top -- So, what's wrong with pie bigamy? Don't forget, on Thursday there'll be no calories in anything, including the marshmallow sweet potatoes.
I'm making a final decision on the cover of THE SIXTH DAY this morning -- with only one more tweak -- it's really quite spectacular -- who loves London?
It's true, you know, if you begin your day with a workout, your rev up your heart and your metabolism, and your mood will be positive -- You'll be ready to face anything with energy. You might even be ready to fly. So, folk, do your cardio earlier than usual and let me know if you feel both a mental and physical difference throughout the day.. I lie to you not, you'll have more energy than anyone around you, I swear --

Friday, 17th of November. Today you should have the newsletter rolling your way. If you're not signed up, email me at ReadMoi@gmail.com. If you don't get yours, check spam (that's your server being a jerk), if not there, then email me as well.
I'm working on The Sixth Day, the 5th international thriller in A BRIT in the FBI series. This one's in England -- what fun -- Poor J.T. is in bed with a Nashville flu that's going around. My personal opinion is she was exhausted and forgot to sing all the country/western songs needful to stay healthy in Nashville. I've also heard that singing Dolly Parton songs will make the flu better and between songs, munching down Nashville BBQ. I've also alerted the local country/western minions to take her French onion soup, the best remedy I know for Nashville flu since I don't know all that many words to the songs.
Today you get out there and kick big butt -- a positive sort of kick, that is, you dive into the day and do very well all the stuff on your schedule and that includes -- hold it, hold it -- YES -- your CARDIO -- and don't ever forget Shoulder Blades together --

November 16, 2017

Thursday, 16th of November -- Well, okay, the publisher got it together and corrected the mistakes, so thanks for telling me: The lovely treat I announced that didn't treat you at all is now up and running. You can get THE LOST KEY for only $2.99 in ebook from everybody. All is good. Keep me posted.
Another announcement: Ethan Jones has a new spy thriller out now: You can get it for .99 cents from Amazon. Only available between today and the 19th -- Go go for it, guys --
It's raining in beautiful soggy Sausalito -- first big rain of the season. It's somewhat disconcerting that it simply doesn't rain from April - about now. So break out the umbrellas (I really like the kind that cover you nearly to your knees) -- and of course I've got lots of stuff to do, errands to run.
Today, other than doing a lot of walking -- stairs preferred -- your shoulder blades are back and you've got your feet straight in front of you, not off to the side or inward. Don't forget those lovely arms, you don't want ANYTHING waving, so check in the mirror. If there's waving going on, then you do arm rolls or any other tris you want, but you have to keep it up.
Sally forth today with a happy heart and overflowing optimism --

November 15, 2017

Wednesday, 15th of November -- oh goodness, it's Thanksgiving in a week. this is too fast, like a frigging freight train, bearing down on hapless us. I'm thinking I don't think it should be Father Time, I vote for Mama Time, maybe time would flow more gently, maybe a bit slower, with less agitation and shock to the senses.
Yes, all Christmas presents are wrapped and you've already seen a video of my office loaded down with presents. Why give you more visual proof I'm nuts?
Work, work, work today, for me, for you, for all of us. So gird your loins, eat your bacon and English muffin and sally forth into the wonderful world and make it l) run better 2) look prettier 3) smell nicer -- or whatever your profession might be -- do good. And never forget SHOULDER BLADES BACK -- and CARDIO --

November 14, 2017

Tuesday, 14th of November -- got some gorgeous dark clouds billowing over the city and Angel Island -- but the sun's coming, you can feel it behind your left eye. Yesterday was amazing, right? Did you smile throughout the day? Smile while you were doing your cardio? Smile while you walked with your SHOULDER BLADES BACK? Good, you get an extra pat from the resident patting minion.
Do you know what? It's important to feel worthy. To feel like what you do is important. So, tell me, what are you doing today that makes you feel really good about yourself?
Don't forget your cardio -- and your bat wings -- remember, stretchy bands are excellent for arms and back and chest. Google if you want new exercises, there are tons. Go forth and feel worthy today -

November 10, 2017

Friday, November 10th -- So it's rainish and gray in Sausalito, who cares? You're up and you're smiling and you're ready to take on anything that pops up in your path today. Bring it on!
Right now, family is having a grand breakfast, then it's the Sausalito ferry to the Embaracadero in S.F., then helicopter ride all over the area, then down to Stanford to see campus and football game. Full day? It's near to bursting -- what fun.
Well, the Boston cream pie -- the baker made a slight error, it became a banana cream pie. Don't get me wrong, it was quite tasty, but I wanted Boston and the Red Sox and Harvard thighs --
Today you cardio hard -- not burst your heart, but you focus when you're biking, running, tread-milling, whatever you do, concentrate. Keep those shoulder blades back. Go forth and have a great day --

November 8, 2017

Wednesday, 8th of November: Yep, lots of you were 4-0 for Week #9.
Family arrived, all of them fun and easy and dinner at Spinnakers (right on the Bay, S.F. all gorgeous as a backdrop), home for homemade pumpkin pie w/whipped cream -- then bedtime for them since they came from east coast and it was three hours later. Helicopter ride, hopefully, this morning, depends on weather. It's gray right now, so "hold off rain, hold off, rain."
Did everyone spend 5 minutes on the floor yesterday? If you didn't, do it today. Consider me your drill sergeant -- you obey me or the minions will come after you with a gnarly stick, all right? Today, if you did your 5-minute snooze yesterday, then you're not only virtuous, you're golden. So congratulate yourself while you do your CARDIO today. Don't forget bat wings -- you gotta keep 'em in the cave where they belong. (hmm, that didn't make much sense, sorry) but I get you get my drift --
