October 19, 2017

Thursday, 19th of October: Lots of you have ordered the ebook INSIDIOUS for only $2.99. If you haven't, get on it. I can't tell you what a great deal this is.
Company gone, Peyton and Eli becoming "destressed" -- it wasn't this particular company, this is just anyone who stays over night with an M16. (That was a joke) -- or was it?
Lots going on today with me and I bet with you as well -- please pray for rain, maybe it looks promising -- well, Alexa just told me only a 25% chance.
Work continues on the upstairs piazza -- going on since the first week in July -- huge space, all slate taken up down to the sheetrock, (it was raining in) -- so much to do both inside and out. We just keep giving all the workers homemade cookies.
Football tonight although I don't remember who's playing. What do you think will happen with the NFL? Lots of people are no longer watching, no longer going to games. I heard the players' union rep wants to strike and isn't that just extremely stupid?
Today, guys, it's bis and tris and stretching slow and easy, every single muscle in your body. You hear me? One body to last you until you croak. So encourage it!

October 18, Wednesday -- Did everyone see the wonderful announcement? INSIDIOUS in ebook is going for only $2.99 until the 29th of October. If you haven't yet read it, now's your chance. Of get an ebook copy for Uncle Oscar. I'm very pleased they're doing this -- do let me know what you think.
Okay, I haven't seen any more Halloween decorations posted here on Facebook, so I'm going to pick my two winners now: Remember, the two picked were voted on by everyone in my house. Rae Goldman (everyone loved the ghosts) and Donna Schneider (everyone loved the skeleton). You two, please email me at ReadMoi@gmail.com and tell me which of my books you'd like to have and don't forget your home address. You can go back to the beginning, whichever novel you want to have. And congratulations and have a great Halloween --
Today company leaves, lots of time-consuming errands, and of course work. Smoke has been thick in the air for the last two days. At least today it will be cooler here, about 65 degrees. Still no rain though -- Is there a law against landlords, for example, raising rents to make more money during this crisis? That is, so many people don't have a place to live, is there price gouging? If there are no laws about this, I wish the very worst of life to those who do it. How about a firing squad? Maybe that's too fast. Can you imagine doing that to people whose homes have burned down?
Many of you were virtuous yesterday, got all cardioed up, worked on those muscles a bit. More today, folk, you mustn't let down. Is exercise simply a part of your schedule? If it isn't, it has to be, okay?

October 17, 2017

Tuesday, 17th of October -- What a great day this will be, I feel it in my bones. The fires are getting contained up north, people are being allowed back in their homes. But please keep prayers flowing this way.
I'll be getting out the October newsletter that has a very cool announcement that I'll make here very soon.
Yeah, all of you guys are doing better than moi in the football contest. Sorry about my massive screw up for Week 6. I'm also told I'm missing a game -- I'm afraid to look, it'll be one I lost.
Today, I want all of you to exercise your upper body after your cardio -- ALWAYS do your cardio, fast, slowly, ten minutes at a time, doesn't matter. You just want your cardio to add up to 40 minutes by the end of the day, okay? Work on tris and bis, really attack those bat wings and make a muscle -- is it mush or is there nice definition?

October 3, 2017

Tuesday, October 3rd -- Yet again I'm 2-2 in football picks, to date: 9-7. How about you guys? the Chiefs saved my bacon last night, they did good. So many injuries though. Tell me, if you had a teenage boy, would you let him play football? They had a retrospective on Marty Schottenheimer (sp?), long time player and excellent coach and he has Alzheimers and it has to be from playing football and getting his head knocked around week after week. What to do? I know, I know, now there are the concussion protocols in place but there are still so many injuries every single week. It's tough --
I'm going to post a Halloween video later -- everything is done, in place, and there are lots of smiles in the house, I'll tell you. Viktor and Buzzard are in their places on the kitchen island so that means all's right with the Halloween world.
Today, after you stretch until your muscles are nice and warm, you start slow on the cardio, then speed up, singing I love You to your heart -- and this is the proof. Everyone agree? Then you do what you need to do most, then, you may call it a day and feel virtuous --

September 29, 2017

Friday, 29th of September -- Yes, I know you might think I'm jumping the gun a little bit, but the house is decorated for Halloween. I'll post a video next week, when it's October and no one will think I'm too weird, ah, but the few extra days with pumpkins and Elvira and Gomez and Viktor and Buzzard -- such smiles they all bring.
Don't forget, go to the NFL Week 4 schedule and print out all the games, make your choices and remember you have to use three of the games I put up and one of your own, and get ready for some great games. Who knows going to win? Weird season so far. We're all going to improve this weekend, I promise.
I'm very nearly finished with editing PARADOX -- huge big gigantic YEA! I think for the next month and a half I'm going to write another Grayson Sherbrooke novella -- this one will have a curse from an ancient Egyptian god, and it'll be set in Bowman, England, a very old town right on the banks of Lake Windermere in the Lake District -- that was why I wanted to visit there this past spring. Beautiful place. Go through my photo gallery to see Bowman and the environs and all the blasted RAIN, endless rain, so much rain you consider having an umbrella implant.
Today, last Friday of September, you really want to go full-tilt on the CARDIO -- walk, run, bike, JUST MOVE -- and don't forget the bat winds and all those lovely stretches --

September 28, 2017

Thursday, 28th of September. Gorgeous September is winding down and it seems like it was beginning only yesterday. What is happening here? Did Dr. Who land the Tardis and monkey with time?
IMPORTANT: I want my reader page to be a fun place to come, a place where we talk to each other about our lives, what we're going through, both wonderful and not so wonderful, support each other and encourage each other. Of course we talk about how we're treating our one and only bods (Yes, exercise). And we talk about books. In the Fall, we pick winners and losers for the NFL games in our yearly contest. Now that we have all the bru-haha surrounding the NFL, it has turned into "I'm right and you're an idiot," i.e., it's become politicized. (My motto: never talk about politics or religion because there is no winning, ever.)
If you are upset (no matter what side you're on) please stop coming here for a while until you cool down. Can everyone do that? No more backing and forthing amongst you guys about this, getting mad, making your blood pressure zoom up. Let's keep this page the way it was intended.
Stretch before you cardio today -- 40 minutes, no less, okay?

September 27, 2017

Wednesday, 27th September -- NFL picks: Don't forget, you pick winner/loser on three out four of my picks. Your fourth pick is your favorite team if I haven't listed it, if so, then pick another. But everyone picks from three of the four teams I've written down, okay? I hope all of you have little notebooks and are writing down your picks and your results every week and keep an on-going win/loss count. Like I'm now 7-5.
I really like the dream with the pink octopus -- too bad city not obvious -- As for me and my wild oyster torpedoes, I guess it was the tuna salad, you think? Funny, I don't like pearls.
Today, still working on editing PARADOX -- hope to finish by the end of the week.
All of us today, lots of stretching then cardio your brains out, then if you're at the gym, hit the machines. Who has a trainer? Who goes to the gym? Who has free weights?

September 26, 2017

Tuesday, 26th of September: It seems that you don't get my posts every day so I'll post my picks twice, Saturday and Sunday a.m. Don't you forget to put up your picks.
Let's hear it for crazy wild dreams -- Inside a huge balloon that's floating on a huge body of water, but not the ocean, I knew that, and I could see through the water all the way down to the bottom. On the bottom, maybe 100 feet down there were these huge oysters, wide open, with humongous pearls glittering inside. I looked up and there were battle ships coming my way, I jumped up and down in the balloon trying to get their attention. Odd, but I could breathe inside the balloon and I was getting scared that something would puncture a hole in the balloon and I'd drown, no land anywhere, just those big ships coming closer and closer. I looked down to see the pearls snapping closed up and starting upward like little torpedoes. Talk about afraid -- Woke up, thank heavens -- I'd just as soon have forgotten that dream, but NO, it's right there in the back of my brain, and I can see the water and those blasted oysters.
Sounds like many of you are rehabbing and that's good. Don't ever not do what you're told to do, okay? Those of you who are chomping at the bit, get out there and think ENDURANCE --

September 22, 2017

Friday, 22nd of September: Today we've having two birthday parties here -- and guess what? Yep, you got it, TWO CAKES. And Mexican (decided on by the two birthday persons) and tons of presents, right now all stacked up on top of the table at the top of the stairs with three little Halloween figures holding lighted things, not sure what they are, sitting amongst them. Let me snap a photo so you can see. What fun.
PARADOX edit is coming right along, nearly at page 200 -- so many threads and to keep them all interwoven properly and straight in the bargain (you know, who said this first and to whom and on and on it goes) So if you think of me working, send me the message "Don't forget that one super important dangling thread."
So no gym for me today but CARDIO, 40 minutes to get off those wonderful TWO CAKES. Since you guys have no birthday celebrations this very fine day, do give your bod a wonderful send off for the weekend -- Sweat a little bit, muchachos and muchachas --
