Monday, 3rd September -- No tongues on pedals, no coughing on strangers (unless they're wielding a knife), no whining (that's the biggie) and a pleasant smile for myself in the mirror (now that's really a stretch, but will try). Much better, thank you for all your well wishes.

This afternoon, I'll post football rules and pin them so they'll stay up for a while.

Work, work, no way around it, gotta get back in the groove and yep, I'm hitting the gym today -- slowly, just get the muscles smiling again, they're pretty pissed at me, and continuously grumpy they're not getting any attention. So, if you're sort of pathetic like I am, then do what you can, wake up your bod, pay attention to your lovely muscles, stretch, pull those shoulder blades back, and chin up. Yes, Yes, I'm following my own advice.

9 days in London? Good luck with that -- take shorts and flannel pants and 14 raincoats and be ready to let your hair fly all about your head --
I hadn't realized how much English gents love backpacks now -- not briefcases, which make you think suicide bomber in a three-piece suit? I was so incredibly lucky in London -- perfect -- but that sort of weather perfection in England can't last, there's a law against it --

Get your cardio done early so you can feel superior all day -

Isn't it amazing how you've never even considered something physically yucky and suddenly you get it -- like the balance issue -- so many of you have had it -- and so much worse than my experience. However, I will call the ear doc and get checked out. Again, mine was simply imbalance -- but it's crazy and scary.
Labor Day Weekend: Not doing much here, which is phenomenal. What are some of your plans?
Because I came down with a cold, no gym, can't infect all the friends at the gym (I'd like to infect a couple of them, yahoos, both of them).
Oh yes, PARADOX is doing really well -- if you've read it and haven't checked in with me, DO.
So, no workout for me today, so please, send me 2 minutes of your cardio. Do't forget batwings and bis -- and never ever forget Shoulder Blades Back --

August 21, 2018

Monday, 20th August -- Off today! You guys know the drill -- only 2 minutes a day of your cardio. You can direct it anywhere on my bod -- or just say "general use". Appreciate it.

Yes, yes, I'm taking an umbrella, I'm not crazy. I can't imagine it being 100 degrees in London for most of the summer -- what incredible problems that must have caused -- I mean there's no a/c in houses -- I wonder if there are any fans or portable a/c units left. in the country. But now, oh yeah, back to normal, except, still, NO RAIN forcasted. But you can never trust the English weather -- they're this small island in the north sea -- anything can happen.

Work this morning, finish packing -- what fun! You guys have a great week and a half -- I'll check in if the WIFI's any good --

August 17, 2018

Friday, 17th August: The podcast yesterday was an hour and lots of fun -- no video, a phone interview. I'll let you know when and where you can hear it if you're so inclined.
PARADOX is holding in on the bestseller lists -- so a couple of "Go Mama!" from you guys would be nice. Thank you for all your incredibly positive comments -- make my day.
Now, be sure to email me at Readmoi@gmail.com -- and ask me any question you want to about PARADOX -- again, I'll be answering questions in a very cool and interesting way -- trust me.
London is looming. Leave on the 20th. I'm getting excited about The Accursed Child (Harry Potter) 2-part play at the Palace Theater. It's gotten good reviews. The Matinee, break, then evening -- so in-between is a Mexican dinner. Yes, you heard me right -- there are lots of Mexican restaurants in London. Are they good? Well, as you know, I've never met a taco I didn't like. I'll let you know.
Today, is your wind-up, kick-ass, go all-out for it with your workout. Do not procrastinate. It's Friday, the last day you can really show how committed you are to having a gorgeous fit bod. Everyone on board?

August 16, 2018

Thursday, 16th August -- doing a podcast today, will let you know when and where it's available to be heard -- if you're interested.

Don't forget -- if you have any question at all about PARADOX, ask it (Email me at ReadMoi@gmail.com) and be patient. I do promise a pay-off.

No one has given any suggestions about the football competition so we'll proceed the way we always have.

Help PARADOX continue on the bestseller lists -- if there is anyone you know who hasn't gotten it, go chew on them.

Last week I'd checked the 10-day weather forecast for London/Cornwall and it said in the 60's with RAIN. I just checked again and guess what? Now it will be in the upper 70's and lower 80's and NO RAIN. Oh dear, what will it predict by Monday? Now I have to "mentally" pack all over, back to warm.

Today I'm hitting the hiking trail to Mount Tam. How about you guys? Move those legs, come on now, walk, walk, run, whatever, just move and don't forget working on your bis and tris -- you can swing your arms while walking, of course, and that's a good thing.

Peyton thanks all of you. He said the second photo of him is to show him at rest, with his mouth closed. Ah, but he loves to sing.

August 15, 2018

Wednesday, August 15th -- I've got a cool announcement for you. Here's the deal: Ask me any question about PARADOX, e.g., about Savich or Sherlock or Sean, or any characters, or about what I was thinking when I did this or that , you get the picture. Anything at all. And I'LL ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS IN A VERY COOL AND INTERESTING WAY. Please emailed me your questions at ReadMoi@gmail.com.
Everybody get a stretchy band, light blue -- they're more malleable and my own preference. Google exercises, working with the band is very effective and CHEAP.
Don't forget cardio today OR walk, walk, walk -- does everyone have a Fitbit or something like that so you can keep track when you're outside?

August 14, 2018

Tuesday, 14th August -- all overcast and 64 degrees at seven a.m. The fog will burn off and it will stay blessedly cool -- yep, this is San Francisco weather. Remember what Mark Twain said -- Coming down to the end of summer and doesn't that suck a big one. September always feels like the break point, and that means it will be dark when you get up in the morning until next June. Not fair. Don't you hate getting up in the dark?
Working today on LABYRINTH then lunch with two brilliant beautiful women from Trident Media Group (my agent) in New York. They control all the digital programs at the agency plus they're up to their eyeballs in the marketing of my books with Simon & Schuster. (Maybe other authors too but I know I'm their Number 1). They're out here for some sort of digital management conference that teaches how to take over the world -- hey, I think they're ready.
I will exercise today -- well, my usual 40 minutes of cardio, but later, probably after dinner this evening. Today, get out your stretchy band and do bis and tris and back -- back -- stand, pull band tight and in and out, your arms at 90 degrees and elbows at your sides -- I hope that made sense -- you'll feel your back muscles and that's what you want -- hey, MAKE IT SO --

August 7, 2018

Tuesday--Let me say only one more thing about a river cruise in Europe: If it's been dry and hot, it means the longboat won't have enough water to continue on the river which means you're off, and on a bus, or you have to change boats (we did) or if you're really unlucky, there is no boat to change to and your entire cruise is spent on buses. So if the summer forecast is for hot and dry, don't go. Or, this can happen: If you go say the middle of May, right after the snow has melted and water is pouring into the river, the boat could be too tall to go under bridges and you've in the same situation. Bus-time! So, a river cruise could be lovely if you['re not screwed around by the weather -- I'd suggest First week of May, before snow melt, or third week in September. Enough about the very unfortunate trip.
I'm working today on edits for THE ANCIENT SPIRITS OF SEDGWICK HOUSE -- the third Grayson Sherbrooke novella, out in October -- this one is great fun, with ancient Egypt in the mix.
Today, all of us will get someone place that's not roasting and cardio our brains out. Since I'm not all that loaded with ram, then I'll have to work harder. Everyone, consider your own well being, consider that you want to be around on this glorious earth for a good long time and you don't want to be stooped or crawling around -- nope, you want to always stand straight and tall (SBB) and be smiling --

July 25, 2018

Wednesday, 25th July -- If you didn't get your July newsletter, either email me at ReadMoi@gmail.com or simply go to my web site, CatherineCoulter.com -- you can read the newsletter there or sign up again -- let me know if you have any problems. Don't you just hate it when your server does you in and goes passive-aggressive?
Physically packing today for trip manana -- It's going to be mid-eighties over there (sometimes upper -- oh dear, whine, complain) -- mentally re-adjusted what to take yet again.
LISTEN TO THIS: You know when you sign up for a cruise or a tour of some kind, the closer it gets to departure, if you cancel the less and less money you get refunded. Well, yesterday, Viking sent out a "generic" alert saying that if the water isn't deep enough, passengers will be bussed to another town and to another boat. Includes Mosel, Rhine and Danube, I guess. Isn't this a kick? They don't want anyone to cancel and anyone to sue them if the boat runs around -- Oh well, we'll see -- anyone know if there's been lots of rain in Germany and Austria?
Today, all of us are going to work out butts off, and I'm leading the pack since there's no gym on the boat. But there'll be lots and lots of walking, so that's good. Again, I ask all of you to donate 2 minutes of your workout to me. The minions will alert my thighs of the gifts and they'll stay nice and fit. Flab sucks, people, really sucks. Your mission, should you accept it, is to get rid of sucky flab.
