okay i love this world and all the Action going on

this is very tropey and i think i know how this book is gonna end but again, i like it a lot, wow

i am petfectly aware that victor frankenstein is The Definition of romantic hero, but it doesn't stop me from judging his dramatic ass

this is one of those books that is not meant to be read critically at all or else it'll ruin the charm. i love it. will not stop saying it reminds me of the maze runner because of how fast-pased and easy it is; i'm flying through the pages, holding my breath, forgetting the world around me. this is frankly a perfect ya dystopia, not pretending to be anything it's not, but fulfilling its purpose just fine.

i swear i understand what this book is trying to do, but so far it's failing on almost every front and i just. i just cant believe

k so i got to the infamous "but you're white" line and honest to god this book is not likely to get more than 3 stars from me. i think the idea of the book overall is great, i just really don't like certain plot devices, and also ths writing sucks big time. sad sad day

holy shit is this the maze runner but with the girls as the main group??? sure sounds A Lot like it so far and i am absolutely here for this, it may not be like the maze runner later but i have already decided that this book reminds me of tmr so im very excited and theres nothing that can be done to change it

i've nothing against the black-white juxtaposition and i think we need it in ya, but i am, not to sound repetitive, a hundred percent against painting everything black and white. ppl like these characters here exist, but if you want to address a major problem, you should work with a common case. the stereotypes crushed all together in one poor black girl will not look good. can't feel for such poor decision-making
