"New Year" is my favourite so far, no doubt about it. i loved how it was more focused on the character and the atmosphere rather than romance. would reread 100%.

"The Dresser & The Chambermaid" was just not my kind of story, i think. yeah, nice, cute, and pretty, and with a happy ending, but a bit too sweet for my taste and unrealistic that way. not bad, just, like, not for me

and so what is i want a book if not an entire series about immortal eli and almost immortal sydney?? what do i do? how do i cope and how do i get that needout of my brain huh

nah, yk what, this is not for me bc i'm still not immersed into the story and i don't want to do this anymore

"Burnt Umber" is a favourite because, well, M. Lee. she knows how to tell a beautiful story with a dash of my kind of humour in a historical European setting, all i'm saying

"And They Don't Kiss At The End" - 10/10, best story, most relatable, i might be biased because every story with an ace-spectrum character is my facourite but that's irrelevant. it was beautiful and inspiring and i want to personally thank N. Magruder for it.

i only enjoyed "The Sweet Trade" because i'm writing a paper on new france in 17th century and this little story takes place in the beginning of the 18th century. so that was kind of nice. but i've got nothing else to say about it, to be honest, because it didn't make me feel anything at all :(

i kinda miss victor but im getting more than enough eli whom i love unconditionally and marcella who as you remember is my murder wife, so i really am in no position to complain

i was perfectly Fine with liking Eli for who he was as an evil genius-supermacist and i did Not need the most fucking tragic childhood story to now sympathize with him. i do now because i've read it and it can't be helped and i just love him now but please, no, take that back,

i need a tv series, a movie, a show, whatever, any visual, right now, and i need it as breathtaking and perfect as this book is. also v.schwab can sell all my organs to fund the production of the said visual

nomi's character somehow succeeds in being tremendously bland AND more inconsistant than everyone in "ace of shades" combined and that should tell you everything about her
