i'm growing rather fond of the characters while despising any part of the book that describes literally anything but the main cast's interactions

i would follow these characters to the end of the word and read their banter forever but i would still prefer some solid worldbuilding and coherent plot and more character closure on the side you know what im saying

im not sure what just happened, but i read half of this book and it felt like i've only just started. is it too soon to say i don't want it to end

first off i'm enjoyjng myself So Much right now. just. i love this. this book makes me want to reread tgt when i'm reading nikolai's chapters, and soc when nina comes along, which altogether makes me feel at home with my favourite universe.

this aside, i still think that sto say that kos can be read separately from all the previous books would be a mistake.

the mention of a "certain master thief" rlly just made my heart warm wow

i hate this book so much....it's disgusting on every front i can't believe i went through an entire series like this back in the day (though i still stand by my words: this book fucked me up back then. i know exactly where every single one of my weird interests/fascinations come from)

i've read a hundred pages of this fantasy book, but if you asked me how this world worked or what exactly the characters were after, i would not be able to explain a thing. it's also fascinating how the characters say so many words while not making any sense or really moving the story forward. one last thing: Writing Words Like This Does Not Make Me Understand Shit

i don't get it. the writing is so painfully choppy, it's impossible to get into the story. there's no rhythm to it, i keep stumbling over full stops and shallow descriptions. i feel like this book really needed a better writing consultant and/or editor. this is a chore.

i know it's hard to believe but i'm yet to see the drawing of names, the labyrinth itself or the competition. i'm pretty bored with this girl who is supposed to be a scientist challenging the gender norms of this society by uh spending much of her time describing the boy she fancies for no apparent reason lmao

i've read more than 40 pages now but whatever. this is So Confusing holy shit i keep getting lost in thr storylines, but it's also so much fun
