Hmmm this was a good introduction to the world if you just want to test if you’ll like it. Angels, demons and gargoyles

She gets her wish to leave the compound... she’ll live with Z to hide who she is... that reveal was fun though.

88 - Emma knew he’d be able to read their moves so she used that to electrocute L! But it still wasn’t enough... he blocked their one bullet! Ray and Geezer arrive just in time!! And Geezer gets to give the face shot to his old enemy... talk about satisfying even if Emma’s battle was a little anticlimactic compared to the others...

87 - Emma tries to talk Leuvis out of fighting but while he admires her ideals he would relish them hunting and killing him. Hahaha Violet gets back to base and gathers a few allies still standing. They uses the guns set up but he blocks the bullets with his hands!!

86 - Geezer takes out Nous with his superior firepower and ability to hide his presence. Ray shows off all he gathered from Violets few words. Leuvis realized the kids have killed the others. He’s most disappointed by Bayon who understood each other. At least he had a real hunt in the end... but Emma’s 10 minutes are up and L is obviously in another league from their previous opponents...

85 - Oliver is being operated on by Lucas. I didn’t realize he only had one hand! That’s why he doesn’t fight now. They are low on firepower. We return to Nous and Nouma and learn he ate her head to absorb her. Violet is the only one not out but she doesn’t know what to do and doesn’t want Paula, Sandy or Sonya to die... Then Geezer and Ray show up!!

84 - We get Banyon’s POV and he shares how since the pact he has wanted to hunt... he did it originally in his private garden until Minerva’s brother offered him the settlement. Finally this is the hunt he wanted, he should have enjoyed it more and not let his guard down. Oliver is clawed though...!!

83 - Emma wants to repeat the secret game Leuvis played with Lucas but L realizes it’s just to buy time... so he gives her 10 minutes he’ll wait then she’ll have to entertain him. He’s why Lucas knew how to kill them! Pepe, Nigel lead Banyon to a tree entrance and ambushed him! We saw that Banyon wasn’t fooled by their plan... but they weren’t fooled either!

82 - Nigel and Gillian realize Banyon wants their leader to quell the rebellion. So they try to run but Gillian is caught and badly hurt... she says to kill her they can’t give away Lucas or the kids in the underground. Pepe Zach’s partner comes in the nick of time... he has a plan!

81 - Gillian and Nigel run into Banyon where he shouldn’t be... he 2 minions are gone so they could be fighting with Zach who was supposed to be occupying him. Nigel decides to send Gillian to report to Oliver, but she can’t upload another friend and blows her whistle instead so Oliver will know something is off. Nigel’s plan to stop Banyon with his death isn’t going as planned!

80 - They see Nous eat Nouma’s head! And scream to bring her back. Leuvis confronts Emma and we see she’s working to buy the others time to take out the other demons... only Bayon is in the wrong place!

This is very intriguing... the dialogue is oddly stilted at times. It should read s but more smoothly... but I understand why readers love this gargoyle world. It sure is fun.

Awww the bonus story with Jaeha left in charge was do adorable!!! The bear is so funny..,

105 - awww Zeno even visited each dragon as tykes! So cute!!! I loved this volume and the slower ace to catch up with our most mysterious dragon!! And I think the art is getting more phenomenal... it was so good!

104 - awwww Zeno’s marriage was so adorable to a woman with s terminal illness... the frame where he begs the dragon God’s was so sad and heartbreaking!!

103 - awww poor Zeno never ages I can’t imagine losing the people I love one by one but remaining the same never even to join them in heaven! He stays and becomes priest and advisor to the prince. He goes out and fights enemies like the other dragons used to do...

102 - we learn of Zeno’s time with the Crimson King until his death. He only got hurt once otherwise the CK protected him and the others saw him as useless thou Zeno knew if one of them would have died the CK would be just as upset.

102 - Zeno answers everyone’s questions!!! And as I suspected everyone realizes he is the first. And he’s been married!! He tested Yona... then came forward. Then we meet his original comrades who considered him useless except for the Crimson King. It’s pretty sad.

100 - Zeno is useless until attacked... then each time he regenerates he gets stronger! I loved Yona’s reaction at the end! It made my heart hurt... another would have saw him as a monster. In fact his generation frames were delightfully creepy!

She is not thawing swiftly... he lets her run away to see there really is nothing... we learn about his youth. How rough! She gives him no sympathy though and can’t remember their first meeting.

79 - They successfully get Nouma! Emma and Leuvis come face to face! I love learning their tactics and going over what they did to succeed! And I love the suspenseful way it’s revealed! So, so good! We’re back baby!!

78 - we learn Nous was the easiest so not to make a big deal of that win... they start with Nous and Nouma ... they are clearly smarter than Luce. And we learn the kids have 5 special bullets and 3 special guns for N/N, Leuvis and Bayon.

77 - We learn Gillian, Sandy, Sonya and Nigel history at the hunting grounds and the people they lost! They take out Luce using Lucas tactics to get around their masks!!

76 - The hunt starts. Turns out the kids calmed down and instituted their plan! Yes!!

75 - The plan moves forward as well as Emma’s role in it. We learn Geezer was Lucas best friend and the leader there until Lord Leuvis came in and murdered their friends to increase their malice. Emma goes and sees Theo to bolster him up. Then the music starts playing... early!!!

74 - GAAAAAAAHHHHHH we finally learn about Norman! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😁😍😆

73 - They find a pen top that gives them more info!! They tell the hunting ground kids that there is no human community but they’re able to tell the truth about a human world. Emma learns of Adam who doesn’t understand words but repeats a familiar number!!!!

72 - The phone rings after the elevator fails. It’s a message from Mr Minerva! We learn his family is in charge of maintaining the promise. And he is more than likely dead betrayed by the one he trusts the
most. He suggests they seek The Seven Walls and they can find info in Marvin’s bed.

71 - Lucas and Emma go thru the door! He admits he wondered if it was a trick by Mr Minerva to lure them to the hunting grounds. They find a pond and wonder if this was the original location they were meant to come to. They find an elevator and activate it...!
