42 - They learn a lot from the dumpling official ... Ouni takes out those that attack them... She runs into Orca as he and the team come ashore... she realizes he’s there to torment the mud whale more and gives him chase...

41 - Orcas has a mission and he’s taking Liontari and leaving the spies to watch the battle cruiser. He has team insect Cage going too. Ouni and company are leaving the mud whale to circle the island as commanded as they go to rescue the unmarked. The A official sees them and they take him with.

40 - She recognizes the nous battle ship... it goes around A to the north to take out the defenses there. Because Orcas is aboard their cannons don’t get to the battle ship and their cannons penetrate the wall! He is as valuable as a nous! The mud whale is expected to engage and save A.

39 - so A has a special weapon like Th has on the mudwhales... except their powers they’re weapons and machines using the sand that comes from their sleeping god. The mayor is told a legend that if the two gods meet A will be destroyed. So R brought them to win glory for himself but can’t go thru with killing the mayor who is his friend. What is Karcharias?

70 - Lucas shows her a hidden door... a mr Minerva door! She has a key to see what’s behind there. He thought about leaving but he wants more than anything to shut down the hunting grounds. A girl saved and hid him then died 5 years later. He trained the kids... Geezer takes Ray to the back door he escaped from... they’re getting Emma!

She meets the group of kids who run the place... who try to help the innocent kids. Most come from the one farm of The a Lord demon whose property and secret garden this is. Emma asks how they know... because HE told them Lucas, an adult they must keep hidden.

68 - Leuvis the demon in black goes after those 3 kids she wanted to save... knowing what she told them because she’s smart. He killed 2 then sent the 3rd back to tell her. The kids in charge feel it’s fine... the normal 4 died. They don’t understand her despair.

67 - the demon in black decides to hunt her but not yet... he wants her to get tastier ie stronger. The boy who talked to her says he has his own reasons he wants her to live. She tells the kids to tell any demon who captures them to com3 get her before another hunter gets her from Grace Field!

67 - We see some of the demon patrons and meet one like Sonju who wants a hunt worthy of him. The boy realizes Emma knows about the demons... when she sees one demon make an ultimatum to 3 kids she runs in with an ax and would hav3 killed it if not for the demon in black! He’s the one who took out Geezer’s group!

65 - oh no!! It’s a hunting ground for rich demons! Geezer’s friends were captured and put in too... the regenerating monsters give their passage away. Somehow that letter leads to a trap! She learns the monsters come with the music...

64 - uhhh wow?! Emma is passionate I admit I would be swayed. She talks about them being the same, how she lost someone too but he left her in charge of the escape. She has to live to follow his will. That got through to him... all his friends told him to escape, even if he’s the only one. Suddenly he says not to go down there it’s not good. And a line comes down and grabs Emma! She wakes up in some fancy village!

63 - Geezer decides who and where to kill one... Ray realizes he’ll try something tomorrow. Emma though decides she’s going to answer his call to help written on the walls! I loved how she admits she doubts her decisions but realizes she has to just keep going. She can’t give up now...

62 - Ray figures out its the eye... he realizes Geezer said he deliberately didn’t kill it and even Sonju said they can be killed (in the previous vol he killed the demon chasing them and left the head with the eye stabbed!) They also lead the pack into another territory and pit the monsters against one another. They lived but Ray didn’t bring near enough bullets.

Everything is going smoothly... they learn fast to walk quietly so he decides to cause trouble... Emma can’t kill the monster (stupid) and he shoots it but deliberately doesn’t kill it so it’ll call it’s friends. He doesn’t think they can make it...

I liked how this was done... showing us how he knew they thought they had one upon him... he and his dead friends were obviously smart too to escape, so he’s really their equal in smarts...

60 - They find their location is through a bunch of highly populated area full of demons according to the old map they find. He wants to go the ultra dangerous route straight thru instead of the safe 3 week route. They stay up with him but are slower. He plans on letting one die and going back due to Gilda’s threat. But Ray is determined he’ll kill him before letting that happen!

59 - in the armory he wouldn’t counsel them on what weapons to take. They talk it out and a rifle like he takes is too heavy but she likes the idea of a knife. Ray says take a pistol just in case it’s a no win situation. Gilda says if one dies then to bring the other one back because if he comes back empty handed she’ll blow the bunker! You go... she’s worried he’ll kill them and make it look an accident.

58 - They prepare for their trip in 4 days ... they realize he’s going to try to shock them... but they won’t be swayed. Emma tries to question him about the poachers but he won’t talk. He has rules and they follow them to the letter. He uses an umbrella on the piano and opens a weapons store hidden behind a secret door.

57 - Ray and Emma go over how they came to their conclusions about their upperclassman. It’s not about resources... there are plenty and he goes out often and is very fit. They explain they’ll detonate the shelter if they’ll going to die anyway. He can escort them or lose the shelter he’s dying to get them out of.

56 - They found a letter from Minerva with new coordinates if they want more than safety. Ray and Emma plan on going and asking their upperclassman to go with them! They are worried about the poachers he mentioned but are hopeful about the monitors.

55 - the kids settle in... it’s cute how happy they are for a bath, clean clothes and a little safety. They still plan on finding Minerva and they know they’ll have to plant and kill for food...

54 - the guy threatens to shoot Emma but she takes a risk and slams a fist in his crotch. He lets her go and misses her when he shoots. She insists he doesn’t want to kill them. He starts screaming names and Oh no it’s them and collapses. There is a scary room down the hall where it looks like he sleeps.

53 - the man is not Minerva but their upper class man. The others who escaped with him are dead long ago. He’s been there 13 years alone. Obviously he knows about them because of the TVs around... he grabs Emma and threatens to shoot her unless they give h8m their pen so they can’t get back In... he doesn’t want to share

Uhhh in order for you to see the last page Ray figured out you have to be at the coordinates... and a door down opens! A slovenly man is there.

50 - uuuuh yeah so Mujika gives Emma an amulet she says will protect her. We learn after the kids walk off Sonja’s goal is to break the promise (only a human can break it) so there will be natural humans to hunt again... worse come to worse they breed and they’re out in the wilds. He is not altruistic about it! M doesn’t tell him about the amulet she gave E.

50 - they make it to the entrance to the surface. They wonder about other escapees and Sonju explains there are only 4 top bred farms like they came from. The rest are massed produced farms where the kids can’t talk or have names or free will. Emma shares photos of her family with M. She realizes Emma has become strong thru all this. She is happy she met humans

49 - Sonju and Mujika teach them to survive outside. Emma realizes someone has to know how to kill. She goes with Sonju on a scouting mission and he teaches her about Vida, a vampiric plant they use to kill anything... including humans. They can use it on animals too.

48 - they explain to the others about the world... then the kids and Gilda chew Emma and Ray out for risking themselves... you go kids! The 2 demons talk for a moment and we learn Sonju didn’t tell them everything... but they’ll find out soon what that is...

Ray and Emma are confident they can find a way... it’s worse case scenario but with hope of a from free world. They realize for Mr Minerva to get so much in the farm HE must pass between the two worlds.
