Everything is going smoothly... they learn fast to walk quietly so he decides to cause trouble... Emma can’t kill the monster (stupid) and he shoots it but deliberately doesn’t kill it so it’ll call it’s friends. He doesn’t think they can make it...

I liked how this was done... showing us how he knew they thought they had one upon him... he and his dead friends were obviously smart too to escape, so he’s really their equal in smarts...

60 - They find their location is through a bunch of highly populated area full of demons according to the old map they find. He wants to go the ultra dangerous route straight thru instead of the safe 3 week route. They stay up with him but are slower. He plans on letting one die and going back due to Gilda’s threat. But Ray is determined he’ll kill him before letting that happen!

59 - in the armory he wouldn’t counsel them on what weapons to take. They talk it out and a rifle like he takes is too heavy but she likes the idea of a knife. Ray says take a pistol just in case it’s a no win situation. Gilda says if one dies then to bring the other one back because if he comes back empty handed she’ll blow the bunker! You go... she’s worried he’ll kill them and make it look an accident.

58 - They prepare for their trip in 4 days ... they realize he’s going to try to shock them... but they won’t be swayed. Emma tries to question him about the poachers but he won’t talk. He has rules and they follow them to the letter. He uses an umbrella on the piano and opens a weapons store hidden behind a secret door.

57 - Ray and Emma go over how they came to their conclusions about their upperclassman. It’s not about resources... there are plenty and he goes out often and is very fit. They explain they’ll detonate the shelter if they’ll going to die anyway. He can escort them or lose the shelter he’s dying to get them out of.

56 - They found a letter from Minerva with new coordinates if they want more than safety. Ray and Emma plan on going and asking their upperclassman to go with them! They are worried about the poachers he mentioned but are hopeful about the monitors.

54 - the guy threatens to shoot Emma but she takes a risk and slams a fist in his crotch. He lets her go and misses her when he shoots. She insists he doesn’t want to kill them. He starts screaming names and Oh no it’s them and collapses. There is a scary room down the hall where it looks like he sleeps.

53 - the man is not Minerva but their upper class man. The others who escaped with him are dead long ago. He’s been there 13 years alone. Obviously he knows about them because of the TVs around... he grabs Emma and threatens to shoot her unless they give h8m their pen so they can’t get back In... he doesn’t want to share
