Slowly picking up the action, we've just met a few outsiders, apparently most of the world is infected with Flare.

Finding it harder to get into this one that I did the first book. While it took a while to get the first one going, I'm hoping this one is the same because right now I'm bored to tears. Which is sad because I'd was excited to see how the "world" is now after the solar flares.

I should say the rest of the spin offs. I tried reading the prequels and whilst I enjoyed them I have yet to wander back. Someday perhaps.

The battle is done and won, well sort of. I know there's more in this world I'm not sure if I'm going to read the rest of the series or not though. Certainly not the spinoffs.

Scarlet's fiery "I take no shit!" attitude is a definite change from Cinder, but I do like that Meyer is focusing on other characters in this world. Not just the main heroine. It's refreshing and they're genuinely interesting.

The action is picking up and we're right in the midst of the final battle.

Despite having spoiled myself the heroes still have no answers. Super frustrating for such a suspensful book.

Well now that we've cleared up that whole incest issue, let's get back to finding new ways to keep the heroine and hero apart lol.

"Yep." Sebastian looked down at the copy of "Angel Sanctuary" balanced on the sofa's arm. "I like the pictures." OHHOHOHO I SEE WHAT U DID THAR CASSANDRA CLARE.

Still entertaining and filled with suspense, compelling me to go on. But the never ending insistence on not EXPLAINING anything pisses me off. I get why these "scientists" aren't explaining anything to the boys (and Girls as we've found out) who are test subjects but the fact that the whole world seems bent on cryptic talk pisses me off. I'm SICK of it, come on Dashner. Start explaining things.

This book is love!

"Based on the time, breakfast should've already been served, people should be working. But something about the largest object in the solar system vanishing that tended to disrupt normal schedules." (James Dashner). This line got a chuckle out of me, good job Dashner.

So far I'm enjoying the shit out of this book. I still want to know WHY someone felt the need to throw these boys this damn maze but until that answer is revealed I'm just along for the ride.

The book seems to have finally found it's feet again.

Perhaps I'm behind on my tech, but this is pretty up to date, even still.

Why in the world have I never picked up this book before? It's brilliant!

I am certainly enjoying this book, Jones has an easy writing style and the Plantaganents are far from a boring subject.
