The Greyjoys ♡!

Definitely seeing the Eyriean influence from the Dark Jewels trilogy in here. I must say though where it's going isn't quite what I expected at all. The Night Court sounds amazing though, would love to visit if I didn't die horribly being a human of course.

Been getting recommended this book right and left, it has such amazing reviews and such a devoted fanbase, I'm definitely giving it a try. Even though Stiefvater has been mostly a miss for me in the past so far this is pretty damn good.

Been waiting forever to read this! Love Susan Dennard, she's my who I want to be when I'm a grown up writer-writer. (No it doesn't MATTER that I'm already technically a grown up.)

Enjoying it as a diversion, but the proceedings strike me again as too short. Lavelle has a great story here, I just wish he'd slow down and explain and explore all the avenues and character growth and evolution the story and people are taking here in.

Was not aware this book was more of a novella size than a regular novel. Then again when you're used to the sprawling 600 page fantasy epics-EVERYTHIMG seems small.

Oh, my heart. Picked this up because I couldn't sleep and now I'm full of feels. Goddamnit Irina!

Can't put this one down. This book was a miss for some but for me, it's scratching A reading itch I didn't know I wanted. Loving it so far!

One thing I love about this novel is the diversity and the fact that the diversity isn't trotted out or paraded for some kind of back patting on the part of the author. There's a diversity of people aaand yeup that's it. Good job Chiavari! Pay attention folks this is how you do it!
