Still making my way through the part I already eye-read. It’s amazing how many exact turns of phrase I remember. Also, this narrator is perfect for this book.

I am stuck on Finisterra. I am not motivated to read it, but I am close to the end, so I will. Eventually. But it’s making me get behind on the Buddy Read schedule.

It’s just so unbelievably tragic how they all make the worst possible choices!

I’ve started over in audio. I’m listening to it at light speed (2x original), until I get about half way then I’ll drop the speed so I can actually take more in.

Holy moly! I just realized I’ve been a member of Goodreads for just shy of 15 years! April 2009 is when I joined. How about you, my friends?

It’s like a Fairy Tale or a legend. Beautifully written.

I thought this was much longer than it is. Yippee!

Malta really is insufferable.

This nearly lost me in the initial few pages, but now it’s much more engaging. I wonder how he’s going to wrap it up.

I’ve read the Kage Baker story, which I liked fine, but wasn’t wowed by. Also reread the Sledge-maker’s Daughter by Alistair Reynolds, which I narrated for StarShipSofa eons ago. It was still quite good.

Making good progress this week, between new reads. I’m loving rereading these books. Especially, since one of my buddy readers is reading for the first time. She’s so perceptive. She is noticing a lot of things that only fell into place for me at the very end of the trilogy. Of course, she has no idea what they mean, and I do, which is delightful!

We listened to more on our recent road trip.

Reading just the titular story for the Short Story Club. Almost finished now.

I actually started this the other day, but I forgot to mark it. Now I'm almost done! Quick read!
