I guess I read this book (Payment in Blood) in German back in the day. I’m listening in English this time.

Read The Boojum, which is mistitled as “Mongoose” in this anthology. 4.5 stars. Great mash-up of Lovecraft and SF.

Neverland is a great comic book series that I’ve helped Kickstart from the beginning and now it’s coming to a close AND being collected into one volume. Can you chip in?

This is a quick read.

Why would 4 books on my "read" shelf & my reviews of them from February 2023 all go missing? I was alerted when looking at the bookshelf for the SFFBC and I noticed that Neom did not reflect my rating. I then dug a little deeper, to find out what might have happened to it (different format or entry for it, perhaps?) & checked to see when I read it. I keep a journal with a mini-review and could restore them. But WTF?

Useless Things by Maureen McHugh. A slice of life kind of climate change apocalyptic future story. Pretty bleak, but excellent. 5 stars.
